Ryan's POV —few hours later—
I groan as Jill complains. She's been complaining the whole time we've been out.
"I just want a drinkkkk." She groans
"No Jill. Can't you just enjoy something without drinking?" I ask and she rolls her eyes
"No." She says and I laugh.
"Look. Souvenir shop." I say and the pull Jill into it. She immediately starts looking around and so do I.
"Ry." She says and I look at her. She holds one of those bikini shirts with a floppy hat. I laugh and give her a thumbs up and she laughs putting things back
"Need any help?" I hear someone say. I look up and see a guy about my age. He has a Puerto Rican accent. And he's cute. I offer a smile and shake my head
"No im ok. Just looking around." I say and he nods
"Well I'm Manuel. And you must be mine." He says and I laugh
"Smooth." I say and he laughs
"I mean, Your really cute." He says and I smile
"Thank you." I say
"And your body is on fire." He says looking me up and down. He steps a little closer and I now feel uncomfortable
"How about you and me go in the back for a little fun?" He asks and I give him a dirty look.
"I'm good thanks." I say and his face turns a little mad
"Come on baby. Just a little party." He says and I shake my head. I feel two hands go on my waist and then a voice I recognize to be jack's
"Everything ok here?" He asks and Manuel's face softens. He looks up at Jack and nods stepping away.
"Just asking if she needs help." He says
"Alright. Well come on babe. We are gonna lose the group." Jack says to me and I nod. He grabs my hand and pulls me out of the shop and down the street till we catch up to the group. Gripping my hand the whole time. I'm of course on the brink of tears. I could've gotten raped if Jack didn't come sooner. Catching up to the group, Jack let's my hand go and looks down to me
"You ok?" He asks and I nod
"Did he touch you?" He asks and I shake my head
"Not yet. I'm sure he would've if you didn't come." I say and he nods. We walk in silence behind the group for a little till I speak up
"Thanks by the way." I say and he smiles at me
"No problem." He says and then looks ahead. Crush confirmed. I like Jack Gilinsky
