Ivy unlocked the door to the main Cabin and opened the door. She entered first, followed by Harley and then Christie. The girls were greeted by a rather large room. Against one wall was a fireplace. In the middle of the room was a giant rug that reached to the two sofas facing each other. A table stood in the middle of the two sofas on the rug. To the right of the girls were a doorway that led to a corridor.
"This is amazing" Christie said in awe, taking in the sight of the Cabin. Harley and a big smile on her face as she walked further into the building. "Honestly, this place is beautiful. Outside and inside" Christie added. "It really is something" Ivy agreed as Ivy dropped the bag she was holding and gave Harley a side hug. "So what's the plan boss?" Christie grinned. "Okay, I'll sort out the power. Christie, take the food bags to the kitchen and unpack. Harls, take our clothing bags upstairs to our rooms" Ivy instructed. "Okay red!" Harley replied and hurried back out the front door.
The three of them got to work. They had two full days of fun ahead before leaving on the third day and they were pretty much off the grid. Phone signal was almost non-existent but that was more than okay. This wasn't meant to be an ordinary trip. This was meant to be an adventure out in the wilderness with nothing but each other and nature to entertain them.
About forty five minutes passed. The girls were finished with their jobs and met in the kitchen. "So, what shall we do first?" Ivy asked, leaning up against the counter. Christie was sitting on top of another counter with Harley beside her. "Well, I'm new to this so I have no idea" Christie replied with a smile and a shrug. Ivy laughed a little. "That's okay, well we can go hike in the woods. See some lovely sights. There's a long stream a few miles away that has a beautiful view. We could play some stuff. There's old sports equipment that Kelly kept in the storage room we can use. There's also a lake a few minutes away" Ivy revealed.
Harley's face lit up with excitement. "Let's go swimming!" She said eagerly. Ivy looked at Christie. "What do you think?" Ivy asked. "I do know it's a very common thing to do when staying somewhere like this and it sounds fun! I could do with cooling off a bit" Christie grinned. "Then let's go get changed!" Harley exclaimed, running out of the room. The sisters laughed and slowly followed, leaving the kitchen.
Harley and Ivy got changed in their room. They put their bikinis on after stripping. Ivy did the same as Christie and put on a pair of shorts while Harley decided to cover her lower half with her own towel which she styled to be short like the two sisters. After getting changed, Ivy and Christie grabbed their towels and joined Harley as they headed towards one of the trails on the opposite side of the camp ground and walked down a path. As they walked, Harley was getting excited, giggling and admired the surroundings while Ivy and Christie kept laughing in between their conversation about how campsites such as the one they were staying at should be used more since it's a perfect getaway.
It wasn't long before the girls arrived at their destination. At the end of the trail was an opening that led to a beach area that spread along in both directions, left and right. In front was a pretty sizable lake. They could see the other side of the forest. The forest surrounded the lake in fact. Harley squealed in excitement as she quickly dropped her towel and began running towards the water. Christie couldn't help but laugh and shake her head as she watched her best friend rush into the lake while screaming and laughing.
Ivy put the bag down she had brought which was filled with extra bits for the lake such as sun cream, sunglasses and so on. She set her towel down flat and spread out as she sighed softly as she laid down on her back. Christie looked at her sister. "Really? You're going to just lay there?" Christie asked. "Why?" Ivy asked. "Come on sis, let's have some fun!" Christie exclaimed, running to the lake. Ivy smiled and rolled her eyes. "Yeah in a minute!" Ivy called as she relaxed.
Christie's and Harley's laughter and splashing could be heard as Ivy's eyes were closed. Harley kept on ducking under the water and swimming around before grabbing or tickling Christie as part of their game. "Come on red! Play with us!" Harley called after a little while. "Yeah come on! You're looking like one lazy Seal over there!" Christie added which made Harley giggled. "Well I'm glad you found that funny baby! Maybe I'll just stay here" Ivy called back with a smirk. She then rolled onto her front and sighed happily, resting her head on her arms and closing her eyes.
Everything was silent for a few seconds until suddenly Harley jumped on Ivy's back, making her jump. "Harley!" Ivy exclaimed which just gained giggles from the blonde as Ivy's back got wet from Harley. "Play with us baybee, pweaseeeeee" Harley said in the sweetest way possible as she laid on top of her lover. "Okay, okay" Ivy agreed which caused Harley to cheer.
She jumped off Ivy's back and stood up. Ivy turned over to look at Harley. "Revenge time!" Ivy shouted, causing Harley to squeal and run back to the lake as Ivy got up and chased after her. Christie couldn't help but laugh as she watched her sister chase Harley. "Go Harley! Go!" Christie cheered on and laughed.
The sun was setting over the Camp. Harley was busy getting the campfire ready and going as Christie came over with a pile of branches and other bits to help with the campfire. After spending a few hours at the lake relaxing and swimming, the girls returned to the main Cabin. They ate, relaxed and settled in by unpacking the rest of their things. It was now evening time and they decided to sit round the campfire to have marshmallows and tell stories.
Ivy stepped out of the main Cabin with a few bags. She smiled at her girlfriend and sister. As Ivy approached, Harley managed to get a fire going. "Well done baby" Ivy smiled, putting the bags down and kissing her on top of Harley's head. Christie helped unpack a few things with Ivy before settling down around the campfire. "This is nice" Christie remarked as she got comfortable. "This has been one of the best days of mah life" Harley added. "Couldn't agree more" Ivy agreed, smiling at the two girls. "Let's tell scary stories!" Harley exclaimed excitedly. "Yeah!" Christie joined in. "Okay, I've got one" Ivy smiled.
Everyone got comfortable as Ivy began her story. "Twenty five years ago at a Camp originally called Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, a group of teenagers decided to spend their summer there. You may think it has a funny name but its story is far from humorous..." Ivy began. "Everything was normal during their first two days. It was all fun and games. But by the fourth day, some of the teenagers noticed that some of the others were missing. By the sixth day, the teenagers decided enough was enough and decided to find out what was happening. They searched all the cabins and nearby woods. Eventually they found a ditch just off from one of the surrounding trails" Ivy continued.
Harley and Christie were on edge as they listened. "As they approached, the smell was unbearable and it was clear once they were all close enough that in the ditch were the bodies of the missing teenagers! The remaining few teenagers began to panic and raced back to their cabins to get their things. It wasn't long until one lone counsellor noticed that the others had now gone missing. Fearing for their life, she raced to her car and was greeted by a sweet middle aged woman. But, she was anything but sweet. She told the counsellor about her son that got lost because he wasn't taken care of by the councillors at the camp years ago. Her son was missing and now she wants revenge!" Ivy went on.
"As the woman chased the counsellor, it was apparent that she wasn't going to lose the crazy woman. They got into a scuffle and ended up in the river. The counsellor fought and fought until eventually, the woman didn't come back up from under the water. All was silent as she panted heavily. Just when she thought it was over, the woman's monstrous son jumped up from under the water, grabbing her and pulling her under!" Ivy revealed and a vine grabbed Christie's ankle, making her jump and scream.
Ivy laughed as Christie composed herself. Harley couldn't help but giggle too. "Sorry sis, I just had too" Ivy apologised. "It's okay, you did scare the hell out of me though!" Christie replied with a big smile. The three girls talked and ate marshmallows for the next few hours until Harley fell asleep. Her head rested in Ivy's lap as Christie and Ivy talked quietly. "Hey, I'm sorry for snapping earlier when we arrived" Ivy apologised. "It's okay" Christie smiled. "It's just... I brought something with us and I wanted it to be a surprise" Ivy revealed. "Oh?" Christie said in curiosity. Ivy nodded and leaned to Christie's ear. She whispered something and Christie's eyes widened...
