"Yanagisawa!" Karasuma hissed, getting into attack position, as did the rest of the trio, the holographic Ritsu making offensive hand gestures.
Shiro flailed his hands in a 'stop' motion, his face showing nothing but worry as he began to sloppily use American Sign Language- one of the many languages Irina had learned in her time as an assassin.
"He says he can't speak, but we need to get out of here and that there is a demon on the loose." Irina translated.
"A demon? Well I'm going to become the goddamn devil if he doesn't show us where Nagisa is right this second!" Karma growled as he raised his hand to begin choking Shiro, who let out silent gasps of air.
"Wait!" A feminine voice rang out along the hallway.
Karma let Shiro go, although kept his guard up. "Who are you?"
"My name is Hanasaki Misui- Just call me Misui. I work for Shiro-sama, but not because I want to. He knows where my lover lives and is threatening me with her. But what he said is true. It's...It's Nagisa-kun. Shiro-sama injected him with his newest version of the tentacle serum, and he's completely lost it. There's an antidote to it, in the second lab room. It's room 202." Misui explained quickly.
"I'll go get it." Karasuma stated instantly, stalking off to the second lab room after the girl had pointed in its direction, Ritsu following on his shoulder. Entering the lab, he started looking through the cabinets find his targeted destination, leaving the other three alone with Shiro and Misui.
"You." Karma spat, looking at Shiro with murderous eyes. Shiro looked right back at him defiantly, sparks flying between them.
Bang.
The ground shook, Karma's legs shaking. Everyone else seemed alright, still on their feet.
"What the hell!?" Irina shouted, her anger flaring. Turning to the younger girl, her eyes narrowed. "Good guy or no, I want answers. What's that noise, and how did you get here!?" The young brunette's eyes widened.
"I-I dunno. All I'm aware of is that Nagisa-kun left me alive, saying he was going after Shiro-sama. H-he left me trapped on the wall, I managed to escape."
"Escape?" Karma said, his voice humid with the bloodlust heaving its weight onto his words.
"Y-yeah. The stuff he trapped me with, it just melted and dissipated out of nowhere."
"What stuff?" Irina snarled.
"The tentacles. Like I said, it's the newest version. It can do things the past versions couldn't even compare to." Misui said, curling into herself at the glares she was given.
BANG.
This time Karma tipped over, slammed into the wall. His elbow was caught underneath him, and he could hear a large crack from the force of the impact. Relieving his arm, he pushed off slowly as another shockwave sped past, sending him to the ground. Pain flared up his am like hot magma, slowly burning his muscles as he felt his bones rub against each other in a painful friction. Karma's arm was already turning a soft red, bloating up.
"Ngh." He had a feeling he broke it, or at least fractured it intensely. Looking around to the others, he saw the others staring at him. "Karma-kun?" The young girl said, confusion spread across her features.
Wincing, the redhead pushed himself off the floor. "So I'm the only one who's feeling those shockwaves?" He said, cradling his arm.
"Shockwaves?" Irina said, almost at his side. "What do you me-"
