"Ahh James White. Just the person I wanted to talk to. She's really been getting on my nerves. I know how you feel. I had to put up with her for ages. I can't wait till she is gone. Finally. When will you get to the hotel?" Gia says.
I had my phone in video because I was doing a little vlog.
I accidentally trip on a flip flop.
"What did you hear!" Gia grabs my top.
"Nothing." I lie.
"Good!" She smiles walking off into the room.
What is she going to do? I go in and do my hair into a pony. We are going home tomorrow early morning. We are spending our last day by our pool
Why am I shaking. I'm darting my head at every noise. I'm jumpy.
"You okay Evie?" Zoë asks.
"Fine." I lie.
I need to tell her when Gia is not there. We arrive at breakfast and we eat out on the little balcony.
"I can't believe it's our last day!" Zoë frowns smoothing out her baby pink maxi dress.
"Whyyyyyyyy!" Alfie dramatically groans buttering his toast.
"Alfie!" I squeal as the butter slips of the toast and onto my black halter.
Alfie throws his head back laughing and Xor hands me a tissue.
I wipe the huge clump of butter off and smush it all over Alfie.
"Ha." I smirk cutting up my pancake.
We finish breakfast without any other mishaps.
We run back to the hotel room.
I throw off my stained black halter and throw on a cover up. I keep my shorts in though.
"Ready?" Alfie pops his head in the door.
"Mhm. Hopefully there is no butter at the beach." I joke referring to earlier.
"Ugh just stop playing buddy buddy. I'm trying to get you in trouble." Gia hisses into my ear.
"He is my family. I have a right to get on with him." I huff walking forward.
"You seem tense." I hear someone say behind me. A very familiar voice.
I whip my head around and see no one. Just a family. Must have imagined it.
"You coming Evie?" Zoë asks.
Wait hold up. I wasn't walking. I'm I going insane?
I run up to the rest and we walk to the beach.
"Let's go to the be-." Zoë and I sing before we get interrupted by Gia and Alfie moaning.
"Not this again!" Alfie jokes.
Zoë and I literally sing this every time we are going to the pier or beach. It's a habit I guess.
"Hey you got butter on my top!" I laugh.
"Your never going to live that down?" Alfie chuckles shaking his head.
"Yup." I smile skipping ahead.
We make it to the beach and decide to take some pictures. Alfie takes this one of me
At the drinks place.
"Insta worthy!" Alfie exclaims. "Definitely going on mine!"
"I was going to use that one!" I jokingly frown.
"Oops." He smiles setting our stuff down in a sun lounger.
I take off my cover up revealing my swimming costume
I get sun creamed up and I sit playing on my phone waiting for the suncream to set in.
"Can I go into the water now?" I ask placing my phone into Zoe's bag.
She checks her phone and nods getting up.
"Let's go!" She cheers taking my hand and running into the water.
I instantly jump when I touch the semi deep bit as it's quite cold.
"There is so cold!" I state,
"It can't be that cold." She shakes her head stepping in and jumping back.
"Cold is it?" I smirk.
"Oh shush." She laughs. We decide to stay mid Zoe's thingy deep although I'm at Zoe's shoulder. So not that much higher on me.
I look around and see James. No no no. He can't be here. I shake my head and he's gone.
"Are you okay Evie?" Zoë asks pulling me out of the water. Alfie and Gia go into the water.
Noes the time to tell her.
"Gia was in the phone this morning. To someone. I was vlogging saying I would be uploading a video three days after we get back that's why I have it on video." I say.
We sit down and I get my phone out of the bag.
I press play on the video and hand it to Zoë.
As the video ends she has a shocked face.
"Has she done anything else?" Zoë asks.
I nod." She put up a video of me have my a panic attack. Shes the one pushing me down. She's been thre-" I instantly pause seeing her stand behind Zoë.
"Evie what else did Gia do?" She asks.
James comes over as well.
Zoë and Alfie turn to see what I see.
"James." Zoë looks at him.
"Mr Deyes, Ms Sugg" James has a sickening smile.
Alfie sits beside me, wrapping an arm around me.
"I want to talk to Evie. Alone." James says.
"No. Now please leave." Zoë answers.
Where the hell are his parents?
"You see I want Evie gone. She's a little selfish girl who got adopted by famous people. Fame has changed her. I did know her. But now. I thought I got rid of you in Brighton. But I thought not. Now if you had just listened and told no one I wouldn't of had to do this. She would have been gone two days after I arrived. But no. You had stupid friends who backed you up. So I'm done. Absolutely done with you pig." Gia hisses looking at me.
I get flashbacks from back in Brighton orphanage.
"I thought you were a nice girl." Zoë scolds Gia.
She packs our stuff angrily and Alfie and I both look at each other. Zoë has never been this angry.
"I would never give away my first child. She's kind, loving and you are cruel. I knew something was happening. But I didn't think it was this extreme." She says.
She takes Gia's wrist and we walk off the beach. Leaving James without an explanation.
What was she going to do?
I feel a pain in my back and I'm flung forward.
I turn my head and James smirks.
"Don't hurt my little girl!" Alfie says helping me up.
"So don't do this." He says kicking me in the side.
I scramble back up and Alfie picks me up.
Zoë looks angry. And I mean angry as she dragged Gia back to the room. What was going to happen?
