Lena
I went to school today like normal, me and Seth acted like nothing happened. I wanted to keep it between me and him.
"Hey Lena." Roman said as we walked outside together.
"What's up?" I asked as he grabbed my hand and we started walking over to the football field.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the founders ball with me?" He asked.
"Right the founders ball is Friday." I said.
"Have something planned already?" He asked.
"No I just forgot about it, but yes I will go with you." I answered and his face lit up even though he tried to hide it.
"Good." He said.
"Now I have to find a dress and it's a ball so it's gotta be long." I said.
"April can help you with that, her mom owns a dress shop she's taking you today." He said.
"Good, what about you?" I asked.
"Don't worry I'm on it." He answered.
"Good." I said.
"Another thing to, my parents will be gone all weekend, if you wanna stay?" He asked.
"That one I will have to think about." I answered. I'm not completely sure I would be able to control myself and I really don't wanna risk it.
"No pressure at all." He said.
"Alright, I should probably get going because April and Dean are over there." I told him pointing towards the parking lot.
"Ok, I'll call you later." He said and gave me a quick kiss.
"Ok." I said and walked over to April and Dean walked past me and he smelt like a freaking dog.
"Hi Lena." He said walking past me.
"Hi Dean." I said back and walked straight to April.
"Hey girl, you ready?" She asked.
"Definitely, you going to the founders ball to?" I asked.
"Yeah I kinda have to, I part of one of the founding families, I have to attend it's mandatory." She answered.
"I didn't know that." I said as we got In her car.
"Yeah but it's not that exciting, it's more like hell. Dean and Sara know exactly what I'm talking about." She said and started driving.
"They're both part of the founding families to?" I asked.
"Yeah, the 'Knights ' and 'Good', I'm a 'Mendez.' And Romans also a founding family member to." She answered.
"He didn't tell me that." I said.
"Well he is, he's a 'Anoa'i', his dad's also the mayor." She said.
"What about Seth?" I asked.
"No, which its kinda a good thing. He doesn't have to deal with the bullshit, and neither do you." She answered.
"Good to know." I said as she pulled into the parking lot of some dress shop.
"So your mom owns this?" I asked.
"Yeah she gets the best designer clothes, jewelry shoes, everything." She explained as we went in.
"This is also where I get my dresses for the dances and the founders ball." She explained as we went over to the dresses.
"So what's your best color?" She asked.
"Black." I told her and laughed.
"No black, it's a founders ball, your not allowed to wear dark colors only the men can." She explained.
"Well that's stupid, all they wear is black." I said.
"I know, here start trying these on." She said and practically pushed me into the changing room.

"Ok I like that one the best." April said as I walked out in a pink and white dress.
"I still like how I look in black." I said.
"Oh shut up, you look beautiful." She told me.
"I was going for something a little more sexy, maybe I should get Romans opinion?" I asked her.
"He can't see it until the ball, but I'll have Dean make sure Roman wears a white tux with a pink corsage." She answered.
"Thanks April." I told her.
"No problem Lena, so what are we doing with your hair?" She asked.
"I'll figure that one out." I told her.
"Ok then, let's get you home."

"Lena you can't go to the ball!" Tommy yelled at me as he followed me up to my room
"Look it's my choice, I'll be careful." I told him.
"This will effect all of us Lena, stop being so selfish!" He yelled at me again.
"Tommy, this is my choice because it's my life, if you don't wanna be affected by it then leave." I told him and he looked shocked.
"Lena, your making a huge mistake. If he finds out who you really are he'll want absolutely nothing to do with you." He said and walked out.
"He could be right you know?" Helena said coming in right after Tommy walked out.
"Please stop, you could go with me and so could he since he's so worried I'll get exposed." I suggested.
"Well that won't happen, he's worried about everything in this town and he should be." Helena said.
"Whatever, it's my choice and you know what I think I'm gonna go see him right now." I said and grabbed my phone and car keys and I walked right out of the house and Sara and Seth were walking up the side walk.
"Hey, Seth filled me in on everything." Sara said.
"Not here, let's go somewhere else, where no one can hear us." I said.
"Seth's dad's house,would be best." Sara suggested.
"Yeah let's go." He said and we went to his house.
"Wait I'm confused do you stay here or at your moms?" I asked.
"Depends on what I want to do." He said and him and Sara walked in.
"Um, Seth." I said cause I was stuck.
"Right, Lena come in." He said and I walked in.
"Seth no!" I heard his Dad say.
"Great." I mumbled.
"Dad it's fine." He said.
"She a murderer, she's not welcome." He said and I couldn't breathe, the air was thinning. It's because I'm no longer welcome. I quickly went back outside and I was able to breathe again.
"Dad no, look at me. We are in danger, she's the only one who can protect us." Seth said.
"Mr. Lopez please, she won't hurt us. She's our friend." Sara said.
"She's a vampire, she's practically the devil himself." He said.
"Dad please, we need her. Give her a chance." Seth said. His dad looked at me and stepped out side of his house.
"Come here." He said and I did, he grabbed my hand and I knew he was doing a reading on me.
"Queen Elizabeth Price, turned in 1823 by Thomas Patrova." He said.
"I'm only giving you one chance Lena, don't make me regret it." He said and walked back in.
"Um I'm still stuck." I said.
"Lena, come in." Seth's dad said and I did.
"Thank you, I guess we have a lot to talk about."
