Broken dishes
Red faces
And vicious screams
This is not what we were meant to be
Yet dishes were thrown
And my heart began to break
When you leave, a suitcase is all that you take
Yet my heart traveled with
And i wondered what went awry
As soon as you left my heart dies
All had been well
As we lived side by side
Then things got rocky, on this ride we call life
We started to fight
Over money and bills
Then things began to go down hill
What happened to the person
Who once craved my love
Who now looks as if they’d fall over with a slight shove
Constant stress
Had wore away at our souls
And that's how my story goes
No happy ending
No valiant fight
No, I just sat and wept throughout the night
I guess it is best
That we parted ways
But I do wonder what could've been
If our love hadn't faded away
