Chapter 10 ( double digits !!)
I started to pace back and forth in front of my company . I was currently waiting for Trent to pick me up in his car so we can go to our date .
I don't think it'll be a date anymore since their might be a little of arguing(lots of arguing ) and that shouldn't be how a date goes .
At least I hope not .
I saw Trent car come as I stopped my pacing and in that moment I consider the most stupid thing ever .
Running away.
That's pretty stupid since he knows , at least I think he does but my mind was yelling at me to run for my life . If my mind was telling me that that means I must be really be nervous or maybe it's just I don't want to face this right now.
Yeah..... I'm a sissy.
' Let the fighting begin ' , I thought as I entered Trent's car .
But as soon as I saw Trent's face I knew I was going to lose . I can never fight against the man I love it's just not possible for me .
Why is my life so complicated ?

I sat in the table that had been reserved for us and as I can tell , nobody else is here .
That for some reason gave me the creeps . It's not that I don't trust him but I just -it seems weird. I mean-let's be honest . Your in a freaking fancy restaurant and nobody else is their but like 2 staff member , who wouldn't be creeped out.
I feel like its a scary movie where Trent is going to kill me and all the affection we had was just a trap .
Well poop . My life is doomed .
I looked up at the roof of the restaurant.
God forgive me for all my sins and I forgive all those who have harmed me .
May I rest in peace .
"Why are you looking up ?" Trent asked.
I quickly looked at him in embarrassment ."Uh ... Nothing ." I said trying to get past my weirdness . I settled in my seat before looking at the menu and scanning every dish . I settled upon having pasta . I guess I was in a pasta mood .
"Excuse me I'll have-"
"I already ordered ," he said .
"Oh ..." I said looking confused . I didn't see why I couldn't order but I guess that was a nice gesture ."Thank You ."
"So..."he sighed. " I'm kinda nervous here cause well , I have a question to ask you . I know this might be sudden but I found something out ."
I took a deep breath .
Here is confession time ." I know what your going to ask and I hope you let me explain before you walk out ."
He looked at me confused. "You know?"He looked a the table ." How?I mean I haven't told anyone ."
Wait what ?
"What are you talking about ?"
He looked at me as confused as I was."What are you talking about ?"
"Wait . No , you ask the question first ,"I said as I looked at him waiting.
"Uh .... Abby this is confusing me."
"Just ask me ." I said moving me hands in a quick motion . He looked at me blankly." The question you were going to ask me to begin with...."
His face cleared with realization ." Oh ..." He cleared his throat ." I know this is sudden but I ." He took in a deep breath ." I found out that I loved you more than I could love anyone else . I mean I can never love anyone ever if it weren't you ."
Wait ? What's happening This is not about the company. Did I miss something? Or...
" I want to spend the rest of my life with you ." My eyebrows furrowed .
What ?!
He got up before bending on one knee and right in front of me .
"Will you spend the rest of your life with me ? " He took out a velvet box and opened it to reveal a amazing jewel within .
I covered my gaping mouth before my eyes started to water .This can't be happening? Can it ?
Things just got real. Real fast.
I have always dreamed of this moment even though if it's the worst timing in the world . I guess that my life can never go as planed and things happen when it shouldn't . And in this moment I think I won't ever be alone after I answer his once in a lifetime question .
Loneliness will just be a forgotten nightmare after I answer ...
