Jinelle wakes up to noise. She see Zachaes drinking someone's blood. It looks like a male. Thankfully, Zachaes wasn't listening to her thoughts so he does't know she is awake. The man finally goes limp and Jinelle recognizes him as Ricky. She swallows a gasp as she looks at her mate maliciously killing Ricky. She rolls off the bed slowly and on to the floor. She phases and slowly creeps out of the room. Zachaes is definitely distracted. She creeps to her favorite spot in the mansion then phases back. She struggles to stand up. She sits in a chair and grabs a book. She turns on a small lamp and starts reading.
"My Ricky," she hears a voice behind her.
"Jenova," Jinelle turns around with a start.
"Your mate killed my Ricky," she repeats, still looking out the window.
Jenova starts turning towards her. In a flash, she is behind Jinelle. She grabs her shoulders with hate. Jinelle cries out and Jenova slaps her hand on Jinelle's mouth.
"He took what was mine, now I get to take what is his," she snarls.
Jinelle instinctively puts an arm around her stomach protectively.
Stupid vampire. She thinks.
Jinelle's canines lengthen and she turns to Jenova. "You do not threaten my family."
Jenova laughs and reaches for her, but Jinelle grabs her arm and bites hard.
Jenova screams in pain. "You bitch!"
"Have a nice last few days," Jinelle says as she retracts her canine and phases. She leaves the vampire in the room then runs back to her room. She shakes off and phases back, but on the floor. She tries to get up, but her child won't let her. She sighs and grabs her blanket off the bed. She wraps it around herself, while trying to ponder where Zachaes could have went.
"I'm right here love," she hears him above her.
She looks up, about to say something, but she sees that Zachaes's beast is in control. She unintentionally gasps.
"I need you," he says as he lifts her up off the floor. He sets her on the bed and makes sure she is sitting up.
"What is wrong?" Jinelle asks quietly.
"I need you," he repeats. He then creeps behind her and feels his teeth getting longer. "Jinelle," he mumbles before sinking his teeth in her neck. Damn, she tastes good.
"Zach," Jinelle whispers as he continues to take from her. He doesn't stop, so she gently pushes his head away. "I need my blood you know," she lightly chuckles.
Zachaes doesn't look at her, he just stares at the ground. He felt guilty for draining his already weak mate. So fragile.
"The hell I am!" She hisses.
"Eavesdropping are we?" He raises an eyebrow as he wipes his lips.
"No," Jinelle says as she turns away "It's being observant."
A scream is heard from down the hall. Zachaes is the first to get there. Jinelle tries to get up, but her stupid swollen stomach keeps getting in her way. She growls then lays back down on the bed. Zachaes walks back in.
"Did you just bite Jenova?" He asks with slight rage.
"She threatened me," Jinelle shrugs.
Zachaes's face twists to an unreadable expression.
"Oh don't give me that look," Jinelle snarls.
"You couldn't have put her to death by my standards?" He whispers deathly.
"No," Jinelle tries to keep calm, but is failing with every word "Because she has been threatening me for weeks! And if she is going to continue to threaten me then she will die slowly, and painfully, by MY hand!"
Jinelle releases the fists that she made and watches her palms heal from being cut with her fingernails.
"You're so moody," Zachaes rolls his eyes.
"Oh hell no!" Jinelle screeches as she marches over to him and slaps him square across the face. "I'm leaving! And leave me alone until I come back!" She looks at the still stunned Zachaes then phases and runs out of the room. She shuts the mental bond tighter than she ever has before.
"Jinelle," she hears her father-in-law behind her "You need to calm down."
Jinelle lets out a snarl more than worthy of an alpha female. She turns around menacingly and stalks Adrian. He raises his hands in surrender. Jinelle nods her head then runs off into the night.

"There is someone in our territory," Bellatrix informs Zeidan.
"You can take this one," Zeidan smiles.
Bellatrix nods then phases. She runs to the edge of the territory and sees Jinelle walking tiredly into the territory.
Bellatrix lets out a low growl to let Jinelle know that she is there, so she doesn't startle her.
Jinelle knows the growl was not threatening so she turns around to see her sister-in-law looking at her. She blinks one more time then collapses onto the ground in a swirl of darkness.
Bellatrix looks at her mate's sister's limp body.
Zeidan!
Yes, love?
Your sister just collapsed to the ground!
I will be right there.
In a matter of minutes Zeidan is there and he picks up his tired sister, she has obviously been running.
Bellatrix phases back. "What's wrong with her?" She asks.
"I think she has been running," Zeidan replies.
Bellatrix nods "We should get her back into the mansion."
Zeidan takes off in werewolf speed to the mansion. He takes his sister to her old room and lays her down on the bed. He lays out a pair of phasing clothes and then walks out whilst turning off the light. He shuts the door and turns to his mate.
"Will she be okay? Will the baby be okay?" Bellatrix asks worriedly.
"I'm not sure," Zeidan answers honestly "I don't think we will know until she wakes up."

"Son," Adrian says as he walks into the room of his pacing son.
"Doesn't she want me?" Zachaes asks his father without looking at him.
"If she didn't she wouldn't be with you right now," Adrian walks over and pats his back
"Do you want to see it from the woman's side?" Vivianne asks as she walks in.
Zachaes nods and plops himself down on a bean bag.
Vivianne looks over at her mate "Sit."
Adrian sits on a wingback chair and faces toward Vivianne.
Vivianne looks at both men then takes a breath. "You two are possessive and bossy as hell. It makes people irritated and impatient. It's just annoying."
"So blunt," Zachaes says dryly.
Zachaes's body goes rigid.
"What's wrong?" Adrian asks.
"Something happened," Zachaes starts "I could feel her even with her mind shut off, but now there's nothing."
"Where would she have gone?" Vivianne asks.
"I will contact the Great River pack," Adrian says as he rushes out.
"Thank you father," Zachaes turns to Vivianne "Try to use the Coven locator."
She nods and walks out. Adrian rushes back in with a shocked expression then slowly hands the phone to Zachaes. He hears screaming coming from it. Angry screaming.
"It's for you," Adrian whispers.
Zachaes nods his thanks then slowly brings the phone up to his ear.
"He... Hello?" He says nervously.
"ZACHAES!!" He hears come out of the device. "WHY THE HELL IS MY SISTER HERE WITHOUT YOU?!"
"Oh," Zachaes is at a loss for words "She was mad."
He hears the phone being transferred. "Zachaes," he hears a deathly low female voice "Get your royal vampire ass over here."
When he doesn't respond he hears the voice again. "NOW!"
I think I'm scared of my mate's sister in law...

"Zeidan?" Jinelle asks after she is woken up by the yelling of her brother.
"Oh my gosh, Jinelle, are you okay?" He asks as he rushes by her side.
"Yeah," she replies weakly.
"What happened?"
"Okay, where do I begin? So Ricky and a girl from my Coven, Jenova, threatened me a few weeks ago. I didn't tell Zachaes-"
"What?!"
"Shut up. So I kind of stopped eating and sleeping and it made me irritated and I got mad at Zachaes a lot. Tonight I finally lost my cool and so here I am. Yet again, under the care of a bossy werewolf."
Jinelle stands up and walks over to the window of her room, giving her a clear view of the full moon. She starts humming and absentmindedly rubs her stomach. She hears Zeidan breathing heavily then she hears him walk out.
"The wolf and the moon," Jinelle tells her little life "Two things that nature doesn't understand, yet they have the strongest bond."
