Ruby’s POV
I’ve been wake for a while now. I could hear Nan doing bits and pieces around the house. She’s been singing a few ‘One Direction’ songs and she’s pretty good. It reminders me that she sounds just like Dad and that’s not helping right now.
I bent down to retrieve my phone which was on the floor.
Text from Eleanor.
5 calls from Perrie.
2 calls from Niall.
25 calls from Dad.
I didn’t bother calling Perrie, Niall nor Dad back. I hesitated to check Eleanor’s message, but she was like one of my best friends, so I checked.

I placed my phone on the bed, next to me. I couldn’t hear Nan singing anymore, but I could hear her talking and another voice I couldn’t make out. I quietly tiptoed towards the bedroom door and put my against it so I could hear.
“You called?” Nan’s voice called.
“Yes I did call, many times. You didn’t even answer!” A deep raspy voice yelled.
“You should of let everything blow over!”
“Let me see her!” I heard footsteps coming towards the door. I jumped on top of the bed and closed my eyes.
“You can’t just come into my house and look for her!”
“I can do what I want and the one thing I want at the moment is to see her!”
The bedroom door opened. I felt the bed dip down where the person was sitting. I had a feeling the person was Dad because he began to rub his thumb against my cheek and then my hair.
“Harry. I’ll call you when she wakes up.” Nan’s voice mumbled.
Yeah it’s Dad.
“I’m going to stay here until she wakes up.” Dad spoke, pulling his hand away from my face.
I didn’t want to speak to him. He said he was going to stay here until I woke up! I’m already so hungry!
“Well, if you’re gonna stay here until she wakes up you may want a cup of tea then?”
“I would like that Mum.”
I felt the bed pop up and the bedroom door close. I thought Dad would of walked out with Nan. I opened my eyes to see Dad standing by the door, looking straight at me.
“You’re awake!” Dad praised, running over to me and pulling me into the most awkward hug of my life.
“Yeah.” I muttered out.
“Ruby. I’m sorry for yelling at you yesterday because of Bella, but you shouldn’t of pushed her or said those nasty words to her. I’m willing to forget that and move on ---”
“Dad, I feel like a terrible person because of doing that to Bella. For some reason, she just felt like a threat.”
“Well, you should of walked away and not of done that to her! I would like you to say sorry to Bella and to come home with me now.”
“I will say sorry when I’m ready to and at this moment in time I’m not ready.”
“For what saying sorry or coming back with me?”
“Both.” As I said that Nan opened the bedroom door with a cup of tea in her hand.
Dad stood from from the bed and looked down on me.
“Call me when you’re ready.” With that he walked out.

Harry’s POV
I walked into the house to find sound coming from the living room. It was probably either Liam, Niall or Bella. I made my way to the kitchen, my boots making noise each step I took. Whoever was in the living room must of heard me and walked to the kitchen.
It was Bella. She looked exhausted, light purple bags underneath her eyes, her head was still badged up.
“I just went to see Ruby.” I said.
Bella nodded and sat on the bar stool.
“What did she say?” Bella asked.
“She would say sorry when she was ready to and when she was ready to come back here too.”
“Oh.”
“..... Yeah.”
“Harry, I think I should go and stay with Simon for a while. Just until everything blows over.”
“Bella, you don’t have to do that. Ruby will come home in a few days and everything can go back to normal. I really like you and I know Ruby will like you too when she gets to know you.”
“If you say so. I’m going to get ready to go out.” I nodded and Bella walked out of the room.

Bella’s POV
I pulled out my clothes from my bag. Black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, a blue coat and to top it off black boots. I straightened the curly parts of my hair where the badge was and popped on some makeup. I grabbed my grey beanie so it would cover my badge and handbag. I walked downstairs, and out to my car and drove off.
I headed towards Simon’s place. His place was much bigger than Harry’s and it was only him. I always came to Simon when things were tough. He was my second Dad, I love him and he loves me. When I was growing up, everyone knew that I was involved with Simon. I was pretty popular, but only because of him. Most people pretended to be my friend to get to Simon. I didn’t have many friends then and I don’t have any friends now.
I pulled into Simon’s to find his car parked where it normally is. I fixed up my beanie and walked inside to Simon’s. I never knocked, I just walked straight inside.
“Simon!” I yelled, as I shut the front door.
“Livingroom!” He yelled back. I could hear the Television blaring. Each step I took, the noise of the TV got louder.
Simon has lying down on the couch, with his iPad in his hands.
“Good Morning Bell!” He joyfully cheered.
“Morning Si!” I ran over to where he was and he pulled me into a cuddle.
“What are you doing?”
“Making a list for Christmas presents.”
“Let’s go shopping today. Just you and me.”
“Yeah! Let’s do it!”
Simon walked away to his bedroom.
I realised what will happen on Christmas Day?
Will Ruby come back before then?
