Chapter 29

Ruby’s POV

It’s been 2 months since Niall moved out. He broke up with Rebecca and met some really nice girl. She’s such a lovely and friendly person. Her name was Lexie. We sometimes talk, Dad doesn’t like me talking to Lexie because she is with Niall. Lindsay and I started a new school together. We met this girl who is blonde and a really welcoming person. Briar Rose, her name is. Dad took me to Australia last week with Nan and Gemma. Gemma is getting married very soon, she’s not sure when though. Niall is still part of the band, but he just keeps his distance. The Press thinks everything is okay. Dad and Niall sometimes talk but not a lot. Eleanor is throwing a party for me because it’s my birthday tomorrow. It was suppose to be a surprise but I dragged it out of Lou. Eleanor pretty much cracked it at him. I have no idea who is coming to the party, I’m not sure if Niall will even turn up. 

Niall’s POV

Eleanor invited me and Lexie to Ruby’s Party tomorrow. I’m not sure if I should go. Lexie sometimes talks to Ruby. Lexie and I moved in together. She is such a lovely and beautiful girl. Lou hasn’t really spoken to me in awhile. Liam and Zayn are alright with me, we still talk and sometimes go out but we don’t really have that relationship we use to. I don’t really know what to do?

Ruby’s POV

I woke the next morning, to feel taller. I realised I was not 16 anymore, but 17. I’m nearly a adult. I could smell something cooking, I jumped out of bed and slid down the handrails on the stairwell. I skipped into the Kitchen to find Dad, Lou, Liam and Zayn cooking chocolate pancakes. Perrie, Danielle and Eleanor were sitting in the Living Room. 

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUBY!” They all screamed so probably the neighbours could hear. 

I covered my ears because of the screaming. Dad pulled me into a hug while everyone did, “awe!” 

I wonder how my party will be tonight!
