Lauren's Pov
* Dreaming *
It's been a few months now since I've been working for Nash. And let me tell you it's been a few months of hell selling to dealers , Nash and Nate bickering and fighting all the time I'm surprised I haven't lost it. Tonight is my night off " work " I chose to spend it with Nate when I pulled into the driveway I noticed the door was ajar I wasn't scared until I saw the blood on the handle Nate's blood to be exact. I rushed inside to see Nate leaning back against the couch blood spilling from his stomach " Nate w-what happened oh my god " I said to him " Nash he said something about hurting you so I attacked but he stabbed me " he replied having shortage of breath. I called an ambulance " please hurry he's losing a lot of blood " I said sobbing into the phone I put as much pressure as I could to Nate's stomach to stop anymore blood coming out " hey Lil mama it's okay " he said to me " no it's not you're bleeding out , Nate I can't lose you " I replied crying more I noticed Nate's eyes getting heavy " no no Nate you have to keep your eyes open please " I said. The next minute the burst open " hello mam " the ambulance guy yelled " through here " I yelled back they quickly got a stretcher putting Nate on it. " See I told you , you could keep them open they're gonna take you to the hospital and patch you up I love you Nathan " I said to him by this point I was crying hysterically.
Time skip
Arriving at the hospital they took him to theatre right away. I called Carter and told him the situation a few moments later he arrived " Lauren " I turned around to see Carter I rushed to his arms for a comforting hug " what happened " he asked me " I came home to spend time with Nate I noticed our front door was opened and blood on the handle so I rushed inside to see Nate bleeding out so I called the ambulance Nate also told me it was Nash who stabbed him over me , the ambulance arrived just in time I noticed Nate's eyes getting heavy " I replied breaking down Carter just kept hugging me everyone else then arrived including Sam, Shawn and Justin.
* End of dream *
I shot up breathing heavy I turned to see Nate sleeping next to me I started to cry quietly but they turned into sobs causing Nate to wake up. " Hey why are you crying " he asked while rubbing his eyes he then sat up " I had a bad dream that I was working for Nash and I came home to find you bleeding out in the dream your eyes were getting heavy " I replied sobbing uncontrollably. " Hey it's okay it was just a dream okay nightmare my point is you'll never lose me I love you always & forever Lil mama " Nate said pulling me onto his lap then leaning towards my neck trailing kisses up and down " Nate it's three in the morning " I said to him " so you want me to stop " he replied flipping me over so I was under him I moaned in response " didn't think so " he said biting my neck making sure he left marks. We were interrupted by someone knocking on the front door " who would be here at this time in the morning " I said to Nate whispering " I don't know " he replied whispering too " Nate I know you're in there with her you took her from me " Nash yelled " ignore him maybe he'll go away " I said to Nate " I'm not leaving till you face me Maloley " Nash screeched " or not " Nate replied to me I took the baseball bat from Nate's closet " what're you doing " he asked me " going to face him you stay hidden behind the door in case shit gets crazy okay " I replied walking downstairs quietly gripping the bat tight. I carefully opened the door " what do you want Nash it's three in the morning " I asked him " where's Nate? " he replied grabbing my wrist tight " get off me " I said pulling my arm away " I'm sorry but I need to know " he replied " WHY!! " I asked angry I was pissed off " because he needs to know you're mine " he replied " get it through your brain I'm Nate's girl his fiance I'm not a toy you can pick up and drop when you feel like it if you come near me or Nate again I'll kill you , you got that Grier " I said I was right up in his face yelling I walked back in the house slamming the door I sighed sliding down the door dropping the bat Nate came and sat beside me " you good " he asked putting his arm around me " I think so " I replied unsure I've never raised my voice like that.
Time Skip
Nash's Pov
Can't believe she yelled at me does Lauren forget what I'm capable of my phone buzzed it was a text from Cam it read " meeting now " what's so important I replied okay and made my way to the house. " I'm here what's the problem " I asked Cam " someone's gave the cops an anonymous tip about us saying we have drugs in the house , guns etc they've already took Sam and Derek to the station it's a mess dude " Cam replied frantically " calm down dude they don't have any evidence do they ? " I asked him I wonder who called them it's pissing me off now " I don't know but we better get down there before shit gets even worse " he replied walking out the front door to the car I followed behind a few minutes later we arrive at the station " Can I help you boys " an officer asked " yes sir we're here for Sammy Wilkinson and Derek Luh they were brought in for questioning " I replied to him " follow me this way " he said to me and Cam. The officer took us to the interrogation room where Sam and Derek were " you have ten minutes before the detective arrives to talk " he said to all of us we nodded in reply then he left " did they say why they were questioning you and who snitched on us " I asked Sam " they just kept on mentioning the drugs but they seemed highly interested in Lauren for some weird reason " he replied why would they bring her up she's got nothing to do with this right? Do they have a whole file about all of us we were all interrupted by the door opening " I'm Detective Raeken I'll be dealing with your case now how did the infamous 410 get caught by the police huh who's gonna go first eenie meenie minee mo " he said pointing to me " what makes you think I know anything about us being called in " I replied he thinks he can make me talk good luck with that " you're really gonna play I don't know anything card don't give me that bullshit Grier I know everything about you even about your ex girlfriend Lauren and the violence that was going on in that so called relationship " he said with a smirk plastered on his face what does he want a fucking golden medal because he knows everything. " can you bring our suspect in please " Raeken radioed through in walked Lauren ? " What are you doing here " I asked her " was going to ask you the same thing why have I been brought down " she asked Detective Raeken. " You've been brought down Lauren because you know everything about Nash and the boys oh here's the best part you're going to tell me " he replied smirking at her , she looked at me swallowing thickly " what makes you think that's gonna happen Raeken " she said laughing crazy taking a seat on the table next to me chewing her bubble gum and popping it smirking right back at him " I have my methods believe me " he replied they were close to one another's face " what besides flirting bring it on asshole " she said clenching her jaw I stepped in to stop the hostility I put my arms around Lauren's waist taking her off the table and sitting her on my lap. " What the hell are doing " Lauren whispered to me " trying to prevent our asses from going to prison and you running your mouth isn't going to help " I replied she folded her arms sighing " you's are gonna have to talk sooner or later " Detective Raeken spoke again " can't tell you what we don't know can we " Lauren replied to him I tried my best to hold my laugh in but I couldn't the boys looked at me to say what the fuck this is serious and you're laughing really " look Mr I think I know everything Detective you don't have any evidence to keep us here and the fact that we're not saying anything is pissing you off am I right " Lauren said raising her brows and smiling. " I'll be back in a minute " Raeken said before walking out slamming the door " what the fuck Lauren " Derek said fuming with anger " what least I did something you were all sitting there with your thumbs up your asses and what's so scary about Detective Raeken anyways oh I'm a big shot in the police force " she replied an officer then came in " Detective Raeken would like to speak to Lauren privately " he said " okay " Lauren replied hopping off my lap.
Lauren's Pov
I walked out of the interrogation room giggling I don't know where this burst of confidence was coming from but I liked it before I knew it I was in the Detective's office " alright quit the smart ass act " he said in a stern tone I thought I'd push my luck " or what " I replied trying to stop giggling next minute I was pinned to the wall " enough I'm not playing around " he yelled " relax " I said trying to push him off but I couldn't he's human so I should be able to " not so smart now are we " he replied smirking ugh I seriously want to wipe that stupid smirk off his face " let me go " I screamed baring my fangs a deep chuckle came from his lips " you think that scares me I have a brother who's just like you " he said " who " I replied still trying to get out of his grip. " Jesse " he said sending shivers down my spine " really cause he never mentioned you " I replied " no he wouldn't he's afraid of what I'm capable of " he said is this guy serious what can he do arrest people and put them in jail any detective or cop can do that boring " really you're human what's the worst you can do send someone to jail or prison " I replied laughing hysterically I was then thrown across the room " what the hell are you ? " I asked cracking my neck and rubbing it from the impact he was really strong " I'm an Alpha as in werewolf well chimera but that's besides the point I'm stronger than some vampire " he replied making his way over to me bare in mind I was still on the floor I kept backing up till I hit a wall " shit " I whispered under my breath. " why is Jesse scared of you there's obviously more to it he's not just scared of what you're capable of there has to be something else " I didn't realise I was talking aloud until he cupped my face with his hands " oh Lauren there's so much of Jesse's life that you don't know about things he wouldn't tell you " he said " l-like w-what " I replied stuttering great now he know's I'm scared " let's see uh me I'm a psycho I've killed people for my powers murdered innocent people along the way for fun ahh the rush of it all is amazing " he said " oh my god you're sick you shouldn't be aloud to work with the police you're a monster who should be locked up" I replied fear taking over my body. I got up from the floor and started running through the building making my way to the doors that would let me back in society I made it to my car but the engine wouldn't start " no not now come on boy start " I said out loud I tried again and the engine roared coming to life I drove straight home to tell Nate everything that happened can I have a normal life just this once I finally made it home I got in the house making sure to lock the door " Nate " I yelled throughout the house " yeah " he replied coming down the stairs with sweat pants and no shirt he quickly noticed the expression on my face " hey what happened " he asked bringing me in for a hug " Detective Raeken is what happened turns out he's Jesse's brother and he's supernatural too he told me how he's killed people for his powers also that he killed innocent people for fun oh one my thing he threw me across his office " I replied my breathing was uneasy " Lauren calm down you're going to be okay baby " he said as he continued to hug me after being up all those hours we decided to go back to bed and sleep I was exhausted Nate was too. I went to the bathroom before hopping into bed I quickly texted Jesse " we need to talk !! " I hit send my phone then beeped that was quick " about what? " he replied " let's just say I met your brother tonight at the police station things got crazy " I said to him he texted back " meet me @ my house tomorrow before school I'll explain everything " he replied. I walked out of the bathroom into the bedroom to see a sleeping Nate I quickly got in beside him I wrapped my arms around him he did the same to me before I knew it I was out cold I'll tell Nate the plan tomorrow it still bugs me why Jesse didn't tell me then again what was he supposed to say hey I have a brother who's a psycho and kills people for fun.
Next day meeting with Jesse
Jesse's Pov
What the hell is Theo doing in WhiteChapel how'd he find me I was interrupted by the doorbell ringing I opened the door to see Lauren " come in " I said to her , she walked into the living room I could tell she was nervous it's the first time we've talked in weeks and it's about my brother " would you like something to drink " I asked " blood if you have any I'm starving " she replied with a smile " I'll be back in just a moment " I said walking into the kitchen opening the refrigerator I looked at the types of blood I had hmm B+ should do it walking back to where Lauren was she held a photo frame " is this you and your brother when you's were younger " she asked turning to look at me " yeah it is sometimes I wish I could go back and change who I became " I replied it hurts to talk about my past " you mean before you knew you were a vampire " she said as I handed her the blood bag " my favourite kind how'd you know " she asked " lucky guess " I replied looking down to prevent the tears from falling " hey it's okay you don't have to put an act on because I'm here you're aloud to cry you know " Lauren said pulling me in for a hug I hugged back taking in her scent. We then sat down to talk about Theo " he mentioned something about him being a Chimera " he told me " when we were younger Theo hated how I was always praised for something he did especially when I became a fully fledged vampire he was the only human in our family so in a way Theo felt like an outsider and left out of the family " I replied the palms of my hands were sweating " when did he become a Chimera ? " she asked I can tell she's curious itching to know more it's a vampire thing " it all started when he turned 16 simple things like picking up a plate or glass cup he couldn't do without it shattering in his hands then he started getting pain all over his body doctors gave him pain meds and heat pads to soothe the pain but nothing worked " I replied drinking some blood to cure my dry throat. " One night I found him downstairs sitting on the kitchen floor hands covered in blood he couldn't remember a thing it was horrible he felt so guilty for what he did I had to give him vervain to make him sleep " I said bringing my hand up to wipe away Lauren's tears " I couldn't imagine how hard that must've been watching someone you love in pain like that " she replied putting her hand on mine " now he get's pure joy using his powers to hurt others he wants me to feel the pain he felt when we were kids Theo has to be stopped you should go I'll catch up with you late Lauren " I said getting up from my seat " okay bye Jesse " she replied giving me another hug. Man that was intense thank god it's over now I need to find Theo I decided to call him " well well well long time no speak " I cut him off " what the hell do you want why are you in WhiteChapel " I asked him " what I can't come home without having a motive behind it and I work with the WhiteChapel police department last time I checked you asked me for help with Nash and his friends " he replied slightly annoyed " did you have to scare Lauren the way you did " I asked him he chuckled a little " you told me to scare her so she'd be terrified don't put the blame on me when you wanted me to help you get rid of her ex boyfriend " he replied raising his voice " you what " Lauren said shit she heard everything I hung up on Theo quickly " let me explain please " I replied to her " fine explain " she said her arms folded across her chest " Amy came to talk to me the other week before I left WhiteChapel she explained to me how she wanted me to get Nash's gang locked up for good and out of your life's I've never seen her so scared before she was worried about what Nash would do next she asked for my help so I spoke to Theo despite everything that happened between me and him I told him to scare you just a little bit not to throw you across his office I know you probably hate me right now but your friend was desperate don't be mad Lauren she only did it because she cares about you we all do " I replied waiting for her to yell or something but she sighed " I know I should be yelling calling you everything under the sun but I know you did what you did because you had good intentions behind it I only have one thing to ask why didn't you tell me about Theo when we first started dating " she asked " I didn't want to scare you away from me or the people around me I thought if you never asked I wouldn't have to tell you at all " I replied suddenly the both of us felt wind whoosh past us " Jesse " Theo said to me smiling " so this is Lauren let me introduce myself over again sorry about that last night " he said to her , she walked up to him smirking then grabbed him by the balls literally " do that again and I'll fucking kill you , you got that Raeken " she asked him " yeah " he replied falling onto his knees " now that's sorted I'm gonna leave before I actually do kill him " she said using her supernatural speed.
Theo's Pov
Damn my balls hurt like hell " yeah here's a tip little brother don't ever piss of girl off it'll end badly " Jesse said laughing " it's not funny I'm in pain " I replied slowly getting up " want a beer " he asked me " yeah a beer sounds good so how'd you meet Lauren " I replied to him. " When she first moved here Ethan and Benny brought her around with her friend Amy then there was this thing between me, Lauren and Benny basically he liked her and I liked her so to get first place I invited her and Amy to one of my parties but Benny showed up confessing his feelings to her long story short we were together for a while Lauren's ex boyfriend got in the way he kidnapped her etc it was crazy then because I let Nash get in my head we broke up now she's with Nate who is her boyfriend now " Jesse said while taking a sip of his beer " damn dude and I missed all of that " I replied to him we eventually finished our beers then I left to go home back to my apartment. Now that I have all the information on Nash and his friends I can finally piece all the evidence together I thought I should call Lauren to let her know what I'm planning to do since she's involved in the case " what do you want now Theo " she asked sighing through the phone " I just wanted to let you know that the evidence I've got on Nash and his friends will be going to trial soon I thought you should be the first one to know " I replied " Theo you can't if that goes to trial they'll know I snitched on them " she said breathing heavily " it's out of my hands Lauren I'm sorry also you're gonna have to testify in court giving evidence as a witness etc " I replied I felt genuinely bad for her right now " I'll need to think about this you're asking a lot from me and to snitch on my friends I gotta go bye " she said hanging up before I had the chance to answer.
Nash's Pov
I can't believe it that we're all being sent to court as I put the letter in my back and close my locker I saw Lauren approaching me fast " we need to talk " she said holding up the same letter I took her hand pulling her into the boy's bathroom " what the fuck Lauren " I replied to her " the Detective called me this morning on the way to school telling me how I'd need to be there in court to give evidence " she said slightly shaking. I gave her a hug she tensed up at first then relaxed " I ... I can't snitch on you guys I might as well put myself up for trial I'm technically involved with the drugs and everything else " I cut her off " look calm down alright everything's going to be okay " I said the boy's then walked in " what she doing in the guy's bathroom " Cameron asked me " she got the same letter that we got " I replied to him. " I'll have to appear in court and give evidence " Lauren said to Cameron " do you want to give evidence in court " he asked with a stern tone " no I don't okay I'm risking my relationship and friendships by just being there " she replied sighing she kinda doesn't have a choice to appear in court " snitch on us " I turned around to look at Cam in shock " are you insane did you not hear a word I said " Lauren practically screamed at him grabbing him by his t-shirt Shawn then ran over basically pulling her away from Cam. " What so when it was all over you would all come find me and try to kill yeah like I'm gonna let that happen I know how you all work I'm not stupid " Lauren said to him with a hint of anger in her voice she then left the boy's bathroom " good one Cam now we've got more shit to worry about great job " I said sarcastically to him then I left too heading to my car to go home this trial is going to be a nightmare to handle hope Lauren makes the right decision in the end luck beautiful you're going to need it.
