Hisoka watched from the window sill he sat on, his cards shuffling in his hands. It seemed the jester was simply passing time with his cards, wrong. The jester was annoyed, bothered, jealous even as he shuffled his cards, his eyes continuously darting towards the front where the Boss stood, freely talking to a female.
Hisoka watched annoyed at the contact they made with each other, how close they stood by one another, and how comfortable they were each other. He tried to listen to the words they spoke, but couldn't get much. And then she would laugh, her heart felt laugh, her voice filling the room as she was entertained by the Boss. Perhaps he was jealous.
"You make it sound so easy." Katsumi answered with a devious smile as she sat on a crate that Chrollo had been previously sitting on. "You do realize this will cost you."
"Of course." Chrollo answered with a gentle smile, his eyes closed as he stood close to her. "I'll send it to you the usual way?"
"Not to me." She answered with a smile. "I'm unavailable."
"Kagome?"
"Unavailable." Katsumi answered as she leaned her head on her hand that was propped up by her leg. "Illumi."
"Hmm? Well this is new." Chrollo said with a stifled laugh as he stared at her.
"You asked for a Zoldyck in your previous phone call with grandpa Zeno, you didn't mention which one." She answered with a sly tone. "I called you as a favour to him."
"And to think we had such a connection." Chrollo answered back.
"You were a potential suitor Chrollo." She said as she hopped off the crate and stood in front of him, their bodies almost touching.
Hisoka was getting pissed at the proximity of their bodies.
"And as good looking as you are 'Boss'," she mocked. "I'm not interested."
"Is that so?" Chrollo answered back with a smirk, he was interested onto why. He stepped closer to her and placed a hand under her chin, wanting to see if she was lying.
"Yes. Someone else has caught my attention." Katsumi answered back with a smile as she peeked behind Chrollo to see the jester sitting at the window sill. Chrollo caught this.
"How unfortunate."
"Yeah, for you anyways." Katsumi teased as she wrapped her arms slowly around Chrollo's waist, her arms going inside his jacket as he pulled him towards her, her chest against his bare one. Chrollo looked fairly surprised at Katsumi, letting go of her chin as he stared at her face. She was physically pressed up against him, causing the jester to throw an angered look at them.
"Disappointed, 'Boss'?" Katsumi continued.
"Unfortunately, yes."
"Well, I have a suitor in mind already." Katsumi said with a smile. "You may like him."
"Probably not."
"Probably." She said as she walked away from Chrollo, heading towards the door. "I'll ask my aniki to send you the details." She said with a wave, as Chrollo simply sat down with a smile. Devious woman still trying to lure him in, and it almost worked.
Perhaps I should have told him that dad doesn't like him very much...
