-Crystal's POV-
I awoke from a nightmare,
I noticed Emily's cold hand suddenly being placed on my forehead,
"your burning up darling" she said softly,
I rested my head on her shoulder,
" how are you feeling,"
"I feel awful"
"You've been out for two days"
"I have?"
"Yep, and your dad hasn't left his office for those two days, I think he took it pretty hard"
"What do you mean?"
Emily lifted my shirt to reveal the kick bruises and scratches on my back, I gulped,
"He came into your bedroom while you were alseep,the day you fell out, he lifted you shirt and burst into tears, not saying a word he locked himself away and he hasn't spoken since,"
"I have to go speak to him"
"Alright, and crissy, tonight, please let me treat your bruises, I hate to see you in pain"
I gave her a small smile and gave her a kiss
I headed downstairs and swung Chris's office door open quietly,
Chris had his head on the desk, like a teenager sleeping during class,
Coffee stains allover the papers, tears stained his cheeks,
My eyes began to water,
I shook him gently, he awoke slowly from his slumber,
I shakily stood back, my knees clacking against each other, my shoulders shaking at the top of my spine.
He turned to me from his desk and I flinched standing back,
He made eye contact with me for half a second but his bloodshot eyes blinked multiple times and he wandered into the living room and sank Into the sofa.
I stood still behind the sofa,
It's not the way her looked at me, it was the way he looked through me.
I burst into tears, letting out little squeaks, not caring that it's in front of him at this point,
He reached for my hand and brung me to the sofa,
I sobbed silently as I sat in the sofa,
He brung me into his torso and I cried into her chest,
"I'm sorry daddy" I cried,
"Shh shh shh, your okay, I'm sorry I'm sorry" he said rocking me back and forth,
I gasped his shirt as I sobbed, my breathing hitched and i found it hard to breathe,
I shook in his arms,
He frowned and grabbed my hand to stop it shaking, looking deep into my watery eyes with fear.
"Calm, darling it's alright breathe for me"
I tried to breathe but the feeling in my chest wouldn't let me,
My eyes flickered as I let out a small welp,
My body collapsed backwards but Chris's strong hand kept me sitting up,
"Breathe damnit!"
My nose bled from anxiety,
"Fuck, Emily!!"
"Emily!! Come quick!!" I heard him yell,
He began to cry, shaking me as my eyes closed.
