Eric was laying in bed with Nubia.
She was having bad pains in her back and Eric took the day off work to stay with her.
"How do you feel?"
"I still have pain."
Eric was worried because this was the same pains she had when she had her first miscarriage.
"Do you want to go to the hospital?"
"No I don't think I need to. I think the babies are pressing into my back."
"Okay."

A few hours later...
Nubia had fallen asleep and Eric was cleaning.
While cleaning, he heard a knock on the door which he was shocked because nobody should know where they lived.
He looked through the peephole and saw that it was Giselle.
He decided not to open the door.
"Eric I know you live here. Just open the door!"
He wasn't sure why she was so obsessed with him, they had sex once and it was way before him and Nubia met.
He knew that he needed to just ignore her and hopefully she would go away.

Eventually, Giselle went away and Eric finished cleaning and started cooking for Nubia.
"Baby. Wake up."
"Eric. I'm tired."
"I know, but you need to eat. You only ate some grapes."
"Ugh fine."
He helped her up and helped her to the table.
"What did you cook?"
"Just some lasagna."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I thought you might like this."
"Thank you."
She gave him a kiss and sat down.

After eating, Nubia wanted to go for a walk and Eric helped her put on some shoes and they left.
"What are we gonna name the babies?"
"I don't know. Whatever name you pick, I'm fine with Nubi."
"I was thinking maybe Bailey and Nia."
"If you like, I like it."
"Okay."
"How do you feel?"
"I feel better."
"That's good...Giselle came to the house."
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah. I just ignored her until she went away."
"Okay. What is wrong with her?"
"I don't know."
"You really put it on her."
Eric laughed, "I guess so."
"I thought we would have problems with the other women."
"Yeah."
"Eric, I was joking."
"I know. I just wish you wouldn't say stuff like that."
"Okay. I'm sorry. I thought it was funny."
"I know, but I haven't completely forgiven myself for that."
"Why? I've forgiven you."
"I just hate what I put you through."
Nubia stopped walking, "Eric, I don't think you should beat yourself up for the past. It was the past and it should stay in the past.
"I know. I just can't bring myself to forgive myself."
"Well, you should forgive yourself. You worked really hard to win me back."
"I'll try."
After their walk, they went back and went to bed.

1 month and 10 days later...
Nubia and Eric were preparing for their babies. They had everything they needed, two cribs, carriers, a lot of diapers and wipes, and many other baby things. Nubia's due date was in 2 weeks.
Eric, during this time, was working to forgive himself and even though it was hard, he was slowly starting forgive himself.
"Eric where's my hospital bag?"
"It is in the closet."
"I'm so excited. We're gonna have our first kids. Are you excited?"
"Of course babe."
Nubia was lowkey scared. She feared giving birth to two babies.
"What are you thinking?"
Nubia smiled, "Nothing."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah."

4:00 am
"Eric! Wake up!"
"What's wrong?"
"My water broke!"
"Okay. I'm getting your bag."
They got up and started getting ready.
"Babe we gotta go."
"I'm putting on makeup."
He walked into the bathroom and gave her a 'really' face.
"I wanna look good while giving birth."
"Babe we gotta go."
"Wait, let me spray my setting spray."
"I'm going to the car."
Once her spray dried, Nubia went to the car and they drove to the hospital.
During the entire ride, her contractions got stronger and closer together.
The nurses brought her to a room and Eric helped her change into a hospital gown.
"It hurts," Nubia said while crying.
"I know baby. Just breathe and squeeze my hand as hard as you need to."
The doctor came to check on her.
"As of right now, you're only 6 centimeters dilated. Once you are 10, would you like epidural? I recommend you do get it."
"Okay. I think I'll get it."
"Are you positive?"
"Yeah."
"Okay. We did schedule a C-section just in case the natural birth does not go well. Is that still okay with you?"
"Yes."

3 hours later...
"Baby I'm in so much pain."
"I know."
"Can you rub my back?"
"Of course."
Eric was doing all he could to help Nubia, but she was going to be in pain until she could get epidural.
The doctor walked in and checked how many centimeters Nubia was dilated.
"Okay. Nubia, it looks like we can give you epidural now."
"Thank you."
"Make sure you stay still while we are giving you the epidural."
"Okay."
The doctors and nurses brought her and Eric to the OR to prepare for the birthing process.
"Can I push now?"
"No not yet."
Eric had to put on some scrubs, gloves and a cap to cover himself just in case Nubia needed a C-section.
"Okay. Nubia we need a deep, long push."
"1, 2, 3 push."
She pushed a total of 5 times before the first baby came out.
After taking care of the first baby, they let Nubia push for the second baby.
"1, 2, 3 push."
Nubia pushed a total of 5 times as well before the second came.
They wrote the times the babies were born and the many other details.
"You did it baby."
"Are they okay? How do they look?"
"They are perfect."

The Next Day...
Nubia was holding one baby and Eric was holding the other.
After giving birth of the twins, the doctor had to remove the placenta which was like giving birth to a third baby.
"They are so freaking cute."
One of the babies had a birth mark on their chest and the other on their foot.
They nurse walked in and they did the paper work regarding names.
The names Nubia picked were Bailey Imani Princeton and Nia Amina Princeton.
The nurse smiled, "Those are beautiful names."
Eric signed the birth certificate and the nurse left.
Eric smiled and said, "We are finally parents."
