No talking. No plans. No creativity. Only silence. As it's starting. Like we don't have a chance. We're already failing.
"Guys. Forget about the plan. Let's think of how what we are going to use to fight him." I broke the silence.
"Shall we head there?" Mysha asked to The dryad.
"Certainly." The dryad said.
"Wait a second. Head where?" Danny said.
"To retrieve our wands." Mysha said.
"Where?" I asked.
"To the forest." The dryad answered.
"What are we waiting for? Let's start moving." Danny said.
We start going to the forest.
I am still thinking about the incident that happened with The Shadow. I was confident about this battle before.
But, now I am losing to my own thoughts.
How am I supposed to fight against this world's deadliest creature when I am losing confidence? How am I supposed to save an entire world when I can't even properly take care of myself?
Just how?
"What are you thinking about?" Danny asked noticing my worried expression.
"I am just scared." I said.
"I understand what you're going through. But look at the bright side. If you stay confident enough and you save this world from destruction, you can go back home feeling proud of yourself." Danny said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes. And also...."
"Yeah?" I asked.
"You will finally achieve something in your life." Danny said and then laughed.
"You idiot!" I said and punched him playfully on the arm.
"Oh meh god. Save meh!" He said in a stupid way.
I couldn't help but laugh at how silly he is. Just like me. I am very lucky to have him.
Oh my god. I am already acting like one of those over protective, crazy girlfriends. I can't be one of those creatures.
We finally reach the forest. I wonder why it took us so long?
*has a flashback of me and Danny just a while ago*
Oh.. That's why. I get it.
We pause at a tree. Why? I don't know. Yet.
"Guys. What are we doing here?" I asked breaking the ice.
Am I even supposed to use this? The "breaking the ice" thingy?
"To retrieve our wands you dumb head." The dryad said.
"Hey we're here for the first time. You can't blame us for not knowing." Danny said
I love him. I hope you know that. I mean you probably know that. I've been rambling on and on and on about how much I love Danny. But still.
"Ok. So here are your wands." Mysha said.
She handed us our wands. Mine looked very beautiful. It had an elegant design at the bottom or also the place where I am supposed to hold the wand. It kind of looks like Ginny Weasley's wand. Oh my gosh, this is a dream come true!
"Jasmine!" Danny called.
"What?" I answered back.
"I've been calling you for ages now!" He said.
"Sorry. I was noticing the details of my wand. It is so pretty." I said.
"Mine is more beautiful." He said.
"No it isn't!" I exclaimed.
"Yes it is!" He exclaimed back.
"Is not." I said.
"Is too." He said.
And there we go, we started arguing over which wand is more pretty. We got so into it that we started hitting each other...... Playfully of course. We are still arguing until someone told us off.
"Oh my god will you guys stop?" The dryad said.
"Stop being such goals? Ok." Danny said.
The dryad couldn't help but roll her eyes. I am proud this idiot belongs to me. I ship me and Danny. I ship #Dansica. Am I being too much right now? Ok fine I am sorry. I'll try not to do it.
"Coming back to what we are here for actually. Do we have like spells or something to use this wand?" I said and also asked.
"Yes we have spells. I will give you the spells. But first let's go back. This place is unsafe to plan any further." Mysha said.
We agreed and started walking. OMG this is such a dream come true! I will actually be fighting with actual spells. How cool is that! I am so excited!!!!
"Calm down Jasmine! This excitement might ruin your concentration towards the battle." Danny said.
"I know. But this is so exciting. I can finally experience what Harry Potter experienced isn't that cool!" I exclaimed like a little child.
"I know sweetheart. But you might wanna control the excitement a lil bit." Danny said.
"Alright party pooper." I said while frowning.
"Whatever you say. I still love you." Danny said while hugging me. He is so sweet.
"I know." I said and then I smiled.
We finally reached the mansion. I am so tired from all the walking I plopped down on the couch. That was a quite a tiresome journey.
"Hey hey hey. No time to relax now." Danny said.
I just shot him a "are you serious" kind of look. I am tired can't you see? You are my boyfriend for Merlin's sake. Let me rest.
"Yup. He is right. Get up. You both have spells to learn." Mysha said.
Damn! She is very strict for a seven year old. When I was seven I don't even remember what I was like when I was seven. But I am pretty sure I wasn't like Mysha. I was like ten times more worse than Mysha. I was lazy, of course and ate a lot of food, definitely
"Ok. But where is the thing from which we are supposed to learn?" I asked.
"Patience Jasmine. Patience is a virtue." He said.
"Thank you for the amazing piece of advice, Philosopher Danny." I said sarcastically.
I didn't realize but Mysha went somewhere. Probably to get the spells thingy. Anyways she came back with a book WHICH NEARLY KILLED ME. IT WAS THAT HUGE.
"Holy crap!" I yelled out.
"Jesy." Mysha said.
"What is that!?" I asked.
"Jesy." Mysha said.
"That's the spell book we gotta learn!" I asked.
"Jesy." Mysha tried interrupted me.
"Within tomorrow!" I said, ignoring Mysha.
"Jesy!" Mysha exclaimed.
"What?" I yelled.
"Will you let me explain! You dont have to learn all the spells in this book." Mysha said
"Oh thank god." I sighed.
"At the end of this book. There is a category called "Important Spells For Defense And War. There are 16 spells in that category. You just have to learn those spells. That's it." Mysha explained.
After hearing that I was relived. A lot. And I think Danny is a little traumatised after seeing me freak out, because he hasn't talked this whole time. I am starting to be worried about him now.
"Danny, are you ok?" I asked.
"Oh I am perfectly fine. I am just not used to seeing you freak out that much over a book." He replied.
"Ok other things aside. Who is learning the spells first. We only have one of those." Mysha informed.
"Danny. How about you go first. You remember stuff easily. I think" I said.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Well if I took it first, there is a chance that you might never get the chance to learn." I replied.
"Hmm. You do have a point there. Alright I will take it first!" Danny said.
"Yaaaaaay. No one cares Danny!" I said in a sarcastic tone.
We all laughed at that. I know the situation is very bad right now, but who knows? Maybe the positivity can defeat The Shadow. I have always taught myself to stay strong during some of the worst situations. Like, no longer be friends with a dear friend, or losing a close relative or any sort of terrible situation. This is just one of those kind of time. I know it won't last forever.
I just pray to God that soon this will be over.
