Mack's POV
~ years later
I was woken up by someone shaking me. I peeled my eyes opened and was met by Ryan's crystal blue eyes.
"What do you want? I'm sleeping." I say.
"Your devil of a child won't let me sleep," he whines.
"Holden!" I shouted.
My little 6 year old boy named Holden walked into the room. He had the most innocent look on his face. "Yes mommy?"
"Let daddy sleep," I say sternly.
He pouts, "but mommy I want to play with him."
"I know baby, but he's sleepy." I say.
"Okay," he says sadly.
"Thank fucking god," Ryan says.
"Hey," I give him a stern look. "Don't curse in front of my son."
"I'm the one who makes the rules around here sweetheart." He says kissing me on the cheek.
"Do you want me to curse?" I ask.
"No," he glares at me.
"Then don't curse around Holden." I say smartly.
He groans, "whatever, I just want my sleep."
I laugh before getting up. I slipped on one of Ryan's shirts.
"Where are you going? Come cuddle with me." He says holding out his arms.
"Can't do babe, everyone's coming over and I have to make the food." I say kissing him on the lips.
"Are you gonna make spaghetti?" He asks with hope in his eyes and I laughed. He's been obsessed with my spaghetti ever since I made it for him a couple years back.
"Yes I am," I say.
His eyes lit up. "Let's go!"
He gets up quickly and pulls me to the kitchen.
I bring out all the stuff to make the spaghetti with and started cooking. While I was making it, Ry sat there watching me.
I was stirring the noodles when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.
"I love you," he says kissing my neck softly.
I smile widely, "I love you too."
If you're wondering about what happened between Jack and I, we broke up years ago. It wasn't anything bad, we just lost feelings for each other.
A couple months later, I realized that I had feelings for Ryan. I couldn't hold them in anymore and one day I just told him.
He told me that he felt the same way and from there we started dating. It was weird at first because we were best friends before we dated.
Now, we have a son and I love them both with all my heart. Ryan and I got married last year.
I've always believed that once a couple gets married it's not the same anymore. They still love them of course, but there's no romantic things there.
But Ry is the complete opposite. He still does the craziest things for me and surprises me. He makes it feel as if we just barley started dating. He tells me everyday that he loves me and that I'm his whole world.
"Mommy," Holden walks down the stairs rubbing his eyes.
"What's up little man?" Ry let's go of me and walks over to Holden.
"I'm hungry," he whines.
"Don't worry bud, mommy is making spaghetti." Ry says messing up Holden's hair.
"Yes!" Holden says excitedly. I shook my head at them, they're both obsessed with spaghetti.
"Anyone home?!" I hear my dad ask walking in.
"Grandpa!" Holden says jumping into Justin's arms.
"Hey there buddy," dad says holding Holden in his arms. He looks over at me me and smiles. "Hey sweetie."
"Hey dad," I say giving him a hug.
"What's up man?" Justin says to Ryan.
"Hey Justin," Ryan says doing the guy handshake with Justin.
"I smell food!" Chaz says running in the kitchen.
"Uncle Chaz!" Holden says running up to him.
"Hey little man," Chaz says picking him up.
"I'm hungry man." Butsy says rubbing his stomach.
I giggle, "hey Ryan."
"Hey sweetie, you making food?" He asks.
"You know it." I say.
"Do you have oreos?" Alfredo asks looking through the cupboards.
"Top shelf," I answered.
"Hey everyone," Scooter walks in with his wife and children.
"Hey Scott," I say.
"How's my favorite nephew?" He asks Holden as he kneels down to his height.
"Mommy's making spaghetti!" Holden says excitedly.
"That's awesome!" Scooter says.
"Hey honey," Yael says smiling at me.
"Hey Yael," I say giving her a hug.
"Do you need help?" She asks.
"Sure. Can you take out the water from the noodles?" I ask her.
"Of course," she says.
"I brought more food!" Nash walks into the room with a pot in his hand.
"I made it." His girlfriend Nicole says.
"Can we eat now?" Matt asks.
"It's almost done." I say putting the meat in the noodles.
"Zack!" Holden says running up to Cam's son.
"Holden!" Zack says as excited as Holden. "I brought cookies."
"Yes cookies!" Holden says.
"Hey, you have to eat first. Both of you." Cam says sternly.
"Oh come on Cam, let them live a little." Jack J walks in with Jack.
"Shut up Johnson, he's my son." Cameron says glaring at him.
"It smells so good." Jack G says walking towards me.
"Thanks Jack," I smile at him.
Once the food was ready we all at outside. I was sitting Ry's lap and everyone was talking about our memories.
"Do you remember that time Nash ruined a wedding by walking in drunk." Cameron says and everyone laughed.
"I felt so bad after that." Nash says shaking his head shamefully.
"I remember when Matthew proposed to a girl at Mack and Ryan's wedding." Justin says.
"She said no man," Matthew pouts. We laughed and continued telling stories.
I smiled looking at everyone having a good time. I'll never trade my family for the world.
Once it was getting late everyone started to leave. I tucked Holden into bed and walked to my room.
Ry was laying on the bed on his phone. Once he noticed me, he smiled. "You're here to cuddle with me."
I roll my eyes playfully. "I'm here to sleep dummy."
I slipped off my jeans for some sweatpants and removed my shirt. I laid down next to him and he put his arms around me.
"I love you sweetheart," he says kissing my neck.
I smile, "I love you too Ry."
I fell asleep knowing that my life was perfect and I had nothing to worry about.
