Isabella Rose Marie Winchester
"Hi Prim," I say softly into the phone.
"Is there a certain reason why your calling?" She asks.
"I need you to get Luke out of the house," I mumble.
Silence.
"Bella, I love you and all but..." She starts.
"Please, Rose?" I beg.
"Only because I love you. But don't call me Rose, the names Primrose," she teases.
Oh right, only Luke can call her Rose.
"Thanks Prim!" I squeal.
"You owe me."
I hang up, oh how I missed Prim.
"Hey, Muffin..." Luke calls. Oh no, somethings up. He never, I mean NEVER calls me muffin.
"What's wrong Luke?" I ask.
"Nothing," he replies.
"BS," I retort.
"Fine. Your cousins are coming today," he fake cheers. Oh no....
"All 11 of them?" I ask almost fainting at the thought.
"Auntie and Uncle are going to Peru to build schools," he says.
"So their just leaving us with 11 children? Do I have to remind you that they recently had two twin baby boys. " I nearly yell.
"Calm down Isabell! It's going to be fine," Luke assures. "Plus we have enough room in this house," he adds.
I hit my head against the wall.
"Also they'll be attending school as well, your school. Just until their parents get back. "
"Great. I love life," I say sarcastically.
Like our parents, our Uncle and Aunt were very busy. 11 children? Really. I mean having 7 brothers should be enough. But no I have 11 cousins that are boys too, joy! Don't even get me started on the other side of the family.
And to make things even 'better' I will most likely be taking care of the little ones. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but it gets seriously annoying.
Athena pawed at my leg. "Athe, the family is coming today. Hide!" I squeal. Athena barks and runs around my bedroom.
Names are very important because most of them look the same.
Let's go from oldest to youngest:
Archer, he's 21 and goes to college nearby.
Avery, also 21, Archers twin brother, and goes to culinary school.
Noah, he's 18, unfortunately a senior
Nicky or Nicholas, he's 18, Noah's twin, senior as well.
Harrison, he's 17, junior in high school, wants to become a Doctor
Collin, he's 16, a sophomore, like me
Alex, 16, Collins twin, very annoying
Braden, he's 11, he's absolutely adorable, he's in 6th grade
Brody, he's 5! The cutest kid ever, he just started kindergarten
Austin, he's only 3 months old
Harvey, he's Austin's twin, 3 months old
Honestly I love them all but the older ones are very protective. Ahah, yay more protective boys, because I don't have enough already.
"Hear the news, twinny?" Weston asks, sitting on my bed.
"Unfortunately yes," I mumble.
"Hey, it'll be fun!" Weston assures.
"Your funny Wes," I say.
"Plus, you'll get to hang out with the twins," Weston says.
"Which ones?" I mumble into my pillow.
Weston laughs and leaves my room. Athena scratches at the side of my bed. I lift the ball of fluff up and place her next to me.
"Bark when the Devils arrive," I mumble.
I shove my face into the pillow. Sleep slowly takes over my body.
The doorbell rings causing Athena to jump off my bed and run downstairs. I sigh and roll off the bed.
"Isabell!" My Aunt Christi screams. She wraps me in a bear hug. "
Cant breathe," I try to say. She laughs and releases me from the hug.
"Hi Uncle Steve," I say waving.
He waves back, he was never one to talk.
"Okay, so where are the monsters?" I ask scared for my life.
I was attacked with a hug from Brody and Braden. I picked Brody up, Braden was way too big for that.
"Ah! My favorite little monsters," I tease.
Brody giggles, "hi Issy!" Brody says.
"Why hello there Brody," I say.
"Hey what about me!" Braden whines.
"How could I forget my little cupcake," I say. "Hi Braden," I say giving him a hug.
"Hi Isabell!" Braden says smiling.
"Where are the rest of your brothers?" I ask carefully.
"Eh I don't know or care," Braden says.
"I see you still have that sassiness," I say. "Love it", I add.
Braden shoots me a smile.
Athena runs into the room barking.
Braden and Brody gasp. Brody quickly climbs out of my arms and they run to Athena. "You got a puppy!" Braden yells.
"We did! She's a golden retriever, her name is Athena. " I say.
"Hey Isabell, we gotta catch our flight. " Aunt Christi says.
I give her a hug, "bye Auntie and Uncle" I say.
"Don't forget these little guys," Uncle Steve says. He hands me two car seat chairs with the twins sat in there. I send him a smile.
"Why hello there cuties," I say smiling at the twins.
This is what I mean by 'I'm going to get left watching the little ones.' My brothers and other cousins were no where to be seen. Great.
"I'm hungry Issy," Brody says.
"Braden, why don't you feed Athe while I make dinner okay?" I say. He nods and runs to the pantry, where Athena's food is kept. "Brody you can help Braden."
I grabbed a pot and started making macaroni, lots of it. Trying to feed 18 boys is stressful. I finish cooking macaroni and put out 2 bowls for Brody and Braden.
"Thanks Issy!" Brody yells.
I laugh and go warm up Austin and Harvey's bottles. "Who wants to eat first?" I ask the twins. They obviously can't talk yet. I put down the bottles and pick the twins up and lay them on a blanket, that's spread out on the floor. Harvey whines and I pick him back up.
"You obviously want to go first," I say tapping Harvey's nose. I quickly feed him and lay him back on the blanket with his toys. I pick up Austin and feed him as well.
It was getting late now, 9:30. I just put the twins and Brody down for bed, their cribs are in my room for some reason. My brothers don't want to hear their crying, do they.... "Braden bed time!" I call. He runs into the room bed to mine. This one has bunk beds for Brody and Braden for when they come visit.
"Good night Braden," I say tucking him into bed, I kiss his forehead and turn the lights off.
I take a shower and look at the time, 10:02 pm. They've been gone for 4 hours, no calls or texts. Wonderful! I pull out my phone and call Luke.
No answer.
I call Ryan,
No answer.
I call Kael
No answer.
Colton?
No answer
Carter?
No answer
How about Daniel
No freaking answer.
What about Weston?
no answer.
I slam my phone down on my desk. I've already searched the whole house.
It's Monday night! The boys start school tomorrow and I have school. Where will the twins go?
I finish off the little homework I had and go on my phone.
Family Groupchat
Isabell: well if none of you guys are going to answer me, fine
Isabell: okay then
I throw my phone on the bed.
When in doubt call your best friends.
"Brooklyn, Bailey?" I ask.
"What's up buttercup?" Bailey replies.
"I have no where to put my twin baby cousins tomorrow," I say sighing. "Plus my other two cousins school ends earlier then ours," I add.
"You have brothers for a reason," Brooklyn says.
"I have no idea where they are," I say as I roll my eyes.
I plop on my bed and take a deep breath.
"Hun, check snapchat," Brooklyn giggles.
I hang up and check my snapchat. I never used this app.
Well there you have it, their at Chris' house, all of them.
I let out a frustrated scream. They better be back before tomorrow.
I lay my head down on my pillow.
The sunlight shines through my window. I get dressed quickly and run downstairs.
"Hey Isabell," Luke says.
"Don't hey Isabell me," I growl.
"Woah what's wrong with little Izzy," Archer coos.
I roll my eyes. "Hey Iz" Colton says, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. I kick him, maybe in the stomach maybe not....
"Is-lle" Colton coughs out. Archer starts laughing.
"Don't touch me," I hiss.
Sure I sound like Lindsay, but I am so mad at them.
"Who fed the twins?" I yell.
"No one," Luke mutters. I facepalm and start warming up their bottles.
"Luke, do you have classes?" I ask grabbing a bottle and Austin.
"No," he yells back.
Austin was crying, I rocked him back and forth and he stopped crying. I smiled at him and kissed his forehead. I fed him and put him on the blanket. I did the same for Harvey.
"I'm going to be late!" I yell.
"Ridgemonts closed," Carter said, stifling a laugh.
"You guys are jerks," I growl.
"Brody! Braden!" I yell. They run downstairs in their school clothes, backpacks in hand. "Lunchs? Check! Backpack? Check!" I say smiling.
"I'll drop you off," I say. I grab Brody's car seat and put it in the back.
"You can sit in the front for today, Braden," I say pointing to the passenger seat.
I drop them off at their schools and drive back home. Babies were crying, loudly.
Nicky was trying to calm down Austin.
Noah and Harrison were trying to make Harvey stop crying by making funny faces.
"Help," Noah hisses.
I grab the babies from their hands and rock them back and forth. It wasn't easy, seeing that I have 2 babies instead of 1.
"Anyways hi Noah, Nicky, and Harrison. " I say trying to give them hugs.
"Where are your brothers?" I ask.
"Archer, Luke, and Avery are at school. " Nicky says.
"Other boys are out doing stuff," Noah finishes.
"Wonderful...." I say sarcastically.
I put Harvey and Austin on the blanket. "I missed you guys," I squeal.
"We missed you too!" Nicky says giving me a hug. He was always one of my favorites.
"How's life been treating ya?" I ask Noah.
"Eh," he replies curtly.
I sigh, he's still the same. "Can one of you give me one good reason why you can't get a baby to stop crying?" I ask.
Their faces go red, embarrassed. I laugh, "I'm kidding but really?"
They shrug their shoulders. I head over to Austin and Harvey. "Hi cuties," I coo, shaking a rattle. They giggle and roll around.
