Hello my people!
One more chapter! Yay!
The song for this chapter is "On Purpose" by Sabrina Carpenter. I really like this song!
So, before we start, I just wanted to clear your possible doubts regarding the fact that Shawn is of age already and Sadie is a minor.
So I did do my research when I started this story, and have seen the laws regarding this. So in the US, (I know this varies for each state, but lets ignore this ok?) I checked for various states, and the majority (at least the ones I found) say that a minor and someone of age can date, as long as the parents of the minor approve (which they do) and they don't do the deed ( which they won't for a very long time) because this could be the older person "seducing" the minor. Also some say that if the gap is of three years or less, it is even more acceptable.
Shawn would only have a problem if Sadie reported him saying that he "seduced" her into the deed, which we all know neither of them would ever do. Plus, there are several celebrities out there that date minors and I have not known of them having problems ( that I at least have heard of) Example: Madison Beer (17) and Jack Gilinsky (20). And there is also Kylie Jenner and Tyga, who dated before she turned 18 (I think). There are many others too but I can't remember right now
Sorry for making this long. I just wanted to clear this because people have asked me this before, so...
Lets get back to the story! Enjoy :)
Xxx,
Sara

Shawn's POV:
Waking up and seeing her in my arms gave me the most amazing feeling. I just couldn't believe that I got to call this amazing girl my girlfriend. It's just so unreal. I felt like yelling it to the world that Sadie and I are dating, but I was going to let her do that at her own time.
When she had told me that she wanted to tell me something, I wasn't expecting her to tell me that she felt the way she does. I don't know what I actually was expecting, but not that. However, I can't be more glad that she did tell me what she did. And even though I was planning in telling her anyways, I really liked the fact that she was the one to say the words I had feared to say for so long.
I looked down at her, who hugged me weakly back, still asleep. I didn't want to wake her up, so I just continued still.
Yesterday after the events at the terrace, we just hanged out on the mall and then came back to her house, only to have a surprise: her father was home early. I actually found it great that he was, as I had wanted to speak to him. But Sadie did not feel the same way.
As we walked into the living room with our hands intertwined, Sadie came to a halt as she saw her father on the living room couch, who had clearly noticed our hands.
"Hi mum hi dad we are going upstairs!" Sadie said quickly, dragging me towards the stairs, but I shook my head.
"Excuse me sir, do you have a minute?" I say stepping forwards, bringing Sadie with me by her hand.
"Of course Shawn, how can I help you?" He said turning to me, and I was so relieved that Sadie's father was such a calm and polite man, and did not look at me as a danger to her daughter as many fathers would do. Now thinking of it, I think that Sadie got her quietness and calmness (when she's not freaking out about something) from him: she is very different from her mother, who is always very hyped.
"I wanted to please ask you sir for your blessing for me to date your daughter." I said, Sadie looking up at me in shock beside me. I guess she wasn't expecting this. "I like her very much, and I will always treat her the way she deserves to be treated, and always be there for her. And I will always respect the boundaries that she sets." I looked at Sadie and smiled, who looked back at me with a new glow in her eyes.
After I had finished, he nodded and smiled up at me, making everything perfect. "You guys have my blessing. I like you, Shawn, you are a very nice kid. Just treat her well ok?" He said, and I nod, squeezing slightly Sadie's hand in mine.
"Thank you sir. Of course I will."
"What about you, Jane, what do you think about this?" Mr. Salvay asked, turning to his wife, who was beside him.
"I have gave them my blessing some days ago already." She said, and Sadie seemed startled, and threw me a "you're explaining this to me later" look.
Suddenly, I am brought pack to the present, as I feel Sadie shifting in my arms.
"Good morning princess." I whisper in her ear, as she groans.
"I hate when this happens." She mumbles, shaking her head and closing her eyes tight. Confused I ask,
"When what happens?"
"When I have these too perfect dreams. Just go away and let me wake up." She says, and I laugh, kissing her forehead.
"This is no dream." I say, amused by this reaction of hers.
"Ha, right." She mumbles, still with her eyes closed.
"Then tell me if this doesn't feel real." I say, as I close my eyes and kiss her smooth lips gently. How much I love kissing her.
When I pull back, her eyes flutter open, her beautiful dark chocolate eyes looking back at mine.
"Then this is really real?" She asks me, her lips forming into a smile. I chuckle slightly, nodding at her.
"Yes princess."
Taking some minutes to wake up, we stay in silence, the only sounds being of our breathing. "I'm hungry." She says, as she leaves my arms, and sits up.
"Hi hungry, I'm Shawn." I tease, not containing it. She laughs as she rubs her eyes, and I sit up too. "I'll meet you downstairs ok?" I say, and she nods. I move forwards and kiss her cheek, before I stand up and go to the guest room.

Sadie's POV:
I seriously can't believe that this is true. I really thought that this had all been a dream, but apparently not. As I splash my face with water, I look at my reflection in the mirror, and couldn't help but think: what does he see in me? But still, I couldn't help but smile, happy that this actually happened.
And I just can't understand how my parents are so fine with it. She lets Shawn crash over like it's completely normal for your teenage daughter to sleep with a boy, and my dad seemed to take things so well. How does Shawn do that? I guess this is the effect Shawn has over people.
After I do everything I do in the morning, I pull on some jean shorts and my Gryffindor shirt, and I smile to myself, always feeling proud of my fandoms: Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Divergent and many others, including of course, the Mendes Army.
Putting my hair up in a high ponytail, I go downstairs, following a smell in the air that I hadn't felt in a long time, and that makes my stomach grumble. I walk into the kitchen, and see Shawn with his back turned to me, a pile of pancakes next to him.
"Shawn, what is this?" I ask, feeling my mouth watering as I walk over to him.
"Breakfast." He says simply, as he adds another pancake to the pile.
"You really didn't have to do this." I say, incredulous.
"Well, if your boyfriend knows how to cook, then he better use his skills right?" He says, smiling at me. My heart flipped at the word boyfriend, still unused to this. Shawn is my boyfriend. Woah, this is realy weird. I like it.
"Thank you, but you still didn't have to do this. I owe you."
"I know the perfect way for you to pay your debt." He says with a smirk on his lips, as he picks up the pancake filled plate, and takes it over to the table.
"And what would that be?" I ask, following him. He turns to me and smiles, his eyes on my lips. I roll my eyes and laugh, still unused to this kissing thing, but I didn't mind. He steps forwards and puts his hands on my waist, still smiling as he brings his lips to mine. I always felt like his kisses could melt me into a puddle.
Someone clears their throat and we pull apart quickly, heat raising up to my face as I find my mum in the kitchen too. "Hi mum." I say shyly, looking down.
"Good morning everyone." She says, amused by what she saw. "What is this smell? Marta doesn't work on Sundays."
"I made pancakes for everyone. Just thought of doing something different." Shawn says, looking still slightly embarrassed for being busted with me, but proud of what he did.
"He cooks too?" My mum says, wide eyed. "Woah Sadie, don't let this boy go. Thank you Shawn for doing this." She says as she eyes the pancakes and pulls a chair to set down. The table was set already, Shawn's work, too. We sit down, and start to put the food on out plates, when the door opens once more and one more person comes in.
"Where is this amazing smell coming from?" My dad says as he looks around, and stops with his eyes hovering over the pile of pancakes, a new sparkle in his eyes."Who did this?"
"Shawn did!" My mum says, as she brings some food to her mouth. My father turns to Shawn with a bright smile in his face, and I smile, knowing that my dad is the biggest foodie there is.
"I love you already kid." He says as he walks over to the empty seat in front of me. Shawn laughs, slipping my hand in his under the table, making my heart rate speed up as it always does. How can someone have such an effect over me?
"I just thought everyone would like this. Sadie told me once how here it is unusual to actually eat pancakes in the morning, so I thought of doing some. I just hope they're good." He says, and my mum nods saying that they tasted very well, not being able to speak with a full mouth.
As we all eat the pancakes ( Shawn and I stopping at three each after less than five minutes of course), I look around at the table, and realize that my parents and I hadn't done this; sit down together on a table and have a meal; for a while. I look at Shawn and smile, feeling my heart grow with emotion. I was with Shawn not even for 24 hours, and he had already managed to pull my family together, with a little help of food of course.
He smiles back at me, and being surrounded by people I love, I couldn't be happier.

As Shawn and I jumped back on my bed, my phone starts blasting to "Aftertaste", and I pick it up, seeing that Violet was ringing me. Feeling too lazy to bring my phone to my ear, I accept the call, and put it on the speakers.
"Oh, hey! So you finally answer me after I tried so many times to talk to you yesterday." She says, sounding slightly mad.
"You did? I did not see anything, I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention to my phone. It was quite an... Eventful day." I say, looking at Shawn and chuckling silently.
"Alright then busy girl. I just wanted to tell you if you knew what happened after you left Aria's party. And I have to add that I admire Shawn more and more everytime I talk to him. He seriously deserves a medal for putting Jason in his place."
"Thank you!" Shawn says.
"Oh, wait, Shawn is there too? Hi!"
"Yeah he is. But what happened after we left?" I ask, now too curious.
"Well, I don't know if you guys noticed, but Bailey and I watched the things happening."
"Really? How much?"
"Enough to hear him say that stuff about you. Bailey and I seriously got pissed off, and the next thing I know my hand is on his face and Bailey's knee between his legs. You're welcome!" She says, recounting everything with much pride. I could imagine her beaming as she said this.
I laugh, and Shawn cheers, clapping. "You slayed girl! I'm so proud!"
"I know, right? That little piece of crap deserved it." She says, and I continue laughing at their enthusiasm. I really do have some awesome friends. "Ok, so my mum is calling me, so I have to go. See you tomorrow!" She says, and we both return it to her, the call coming to an end.
Sighing, I lay back in my bed, and Shawn copies me, turning towards me. "So what do you wanna do today?" I ask him, and he shurgs.
"I don't know." He replies. But then, something crosses his mind, and he says. "Actually, we need to talk."
I sit up again, raising my eyebrows at him. "Am I really that bad to the point that you are breaking up with me already?"
"What?" Shawn seems confused for a minute, and sits up to level with me. His eyes widen, and he shakes his head as a smile forms in his lips, puts an arm around me and pulls me towards him. "You're not getting rid of me anytime soon."
"Then what is it?" I ask him, relief flooding me.
"It's just... You probably know that I told my fans that I would tell them when I had a girlfriend right?" He asks me, and I nod. "So, I wanted to ask you what do you want to do about it. I know that my fans may not react very well at first, so if you want to give it some time before I tell them, it would be fine ok?"
"Thanks Shawn, but you can tell them." I answer at once, sure of my answer.
"Are you sure?" He asks, shocked with my quick determined answer, and I nod.
"I am also a fan, and putting myself in their shoes, I would much prefer to learn it directly from you than finding some photo of you with some girl and knowing it from the press, especially because you told us that you would tell us. And I don't want to be the reason for making what you said a lie."
Shawn smiles and eyes me, looking at me in a funny way that makes me feel suddenly very self aware. "What?" I ask.
"You're amazing." He says and kisses my cheek, making my heart skip.
He takes out his phone and opens twitter, and brings his phone in between us so I could see what he was doing. He clicks on the blue icon of a feather to write something, and types I told you guys that I would tell you when I had a girlfriend, and I do now.Hope you guys like her as much as I do! 😊@SadieSalvay48
"Do you want to do the honours?" He asks, smiling at me. Smiling back at him, I nod. "I would love to." And leaning over his phone, I click the blue "tweet" icon, telling the world about Shawn and I.
I just really hope the people take it well.
