You were so excited to begin your new job as an assistant to this guy named Eminem. You had no idea what he really looked liked because you weren't a huge rap fan like most people were. You just wanted a job to keep busy while your two teenage kids were preparing themselves for college.
So as you went into the building to meet your new manager you decided to grab a cup of coffee and quickly make your way on to the elevator.
"Going up?" A man with beats by dre headphones and a notebook ask as you enter the elevator.
"Yeah thank you." You say as you watch him press the button and continue bobbing his head along to whatever he was listening to on those things.
"You new here?" He suddenly ask lifting one of his head phones up so that he could hear you.
"Yeah, this building is really huge I don't know how any one finds their way around." You say fixing your skirt a little.
"Yeah it's difficult at times but you get used to it." He says leaning back against the elevators wall.
"So does this whole company revolve around this Eminem guy?" You ask not exactly sure who was running this place.
The man seemed to be bemused but his expression quickly turned to one of surprise.
"Wait you don't know who I am?" He says shocked.
You look at the guy and try to figure out if you know who he is but you draw a blank and shrug your shoulders. "Nope..any way i'm going to be his assistant so I was just wondering if he owned all of this or not..I just hope this guy isn't a assho*e." You say honestly.
The man let's out an abrupt laugh but quickly covers it up you don't question it thinking that maybe this guy had worked with him before and knows that maybe he is one..
"So he is an ass?" You say awaiting a response.
"I don't know I mean he's heard that he was before by many others but in his opinion he's just a guy try to make a living ya know?" He says seriously.
"Oh..the narcissistic type." You sigh. "Well..what are you some kind of Dj for him or something?" you ask curious on what he did that relied on him having head phones and all kinds of notebooks and pens on him.
"You know your a really funny girl." He says in amazement.
"Thanks?" You say awkwardly.
"How old are you?" He randomly ask.
"How old are you?" You respond kind of shocked at such a straightforward question.
"43." He says.
"No wayyyyy." You gape at how young he looked.
"Yup." He says proudly knowing he hasn't done to much aging.
"You find the fountain of youth or something?" You ask.
"Maybe." He laughs.
"Well i'm 40." You answer kind of sad. You had a grey streak in your hair but the rest of your hair was still it's natural color that it has always been.
"Well your a pretty 40." He says kind of flirtatious.
You didn't know how to respond so you just waited for the elevator to stop which was taking a long time in your opinion.
When the doors finally did open you got off and immediately went searching for your new managers room. But you were finding it odd that the man on the elevator with you seemed to be following your every move.
You finally found the room you were supposed to meet at and you went right on in seeing a man in there already looking through some papers.
"Hello..i'm Y/N and i'm here to be the new assistant." You introduce.
"Oh nice to see you Y/N i'm Paul Rosenberg, and I see you've already met Marshall..better known as Eminem." He says pointing to the guy behind you.
You turn around surprised to see that it was the guy from the elevator.
"Oh My God..your..." You was way to embarrassed to say anything else.
"Yeah..it's me, the Dj'ing assh*le." He smirks.
Well this was going to be a interesting relationship...
"I'm so sorry..I didn't know..." You apologize.
"Nah, it's cool your lucky I think your cute..welcome to the shady bunch." He says giving you a smile.
