This request is going to be a little different from the others. When I got this one, I thought it was an amazing idea, something that was different, and I had a lot of fun writing it. This is requested by @Werewolf_death2019, hope you, and everyone else, enjoy.
My legs burn as I push myself to continue on, my chest aches as I try to take deep breaths, hoping and praying that whatever is chasing me will soon lose sight of me. As I run, the only thing that can be heard is the sound of me panting, nothing else could be heard. I was running through a forest, branches and twigs scraping my skin every now and then, leaving nasty cuts along my body. The hard rocks caused me to stumble every now and then, almost to the point of tripping over. Fortunately, I caught myself in time. Not long later, I stumbled out of the forest and came across an alleyway and, without thinking, ran into it, hoping that it would be dark enough for me to hide for the time being, or at least until whatever is chasing me, vanishes. I stumble along the pathway, trying to find a descent spot to hide in. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one and, just before I was about to make my way out of the alleyway, I heard a sound from behind me. ever so slowly, I turned around, only to gasp in shock at what I saw. Standing behind me was, what looked to be, a rather large, black dog with glowing red eyes and reptilian-like teeth, looking at me with a look of hunger.
"Nice dog." I said as I began slowly walking backwards, keeping an eye on the dog in front of me, only to have it growl in return. I took more and more steps, putting some distance between us, and saw how it was watching my every move, as if it was waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. It wasn't until I was a few metres back to I happen to step on a stick, resulting in me falling down, it was that moment that the dog charged straight for me. it ran with inhuman speed and before I knew it, it had already approached me, trying it's very hardest to bite me. all I could do was hold out my hands and place them just under its mouth, trying my best to stop it from successfully biting me. after fighting back and forth for a few minutes, I was able to lift my leg and, with enough strength, kicked the dog in the stomach, managing to kick it back a few metres. Taking the opportunity, I got up from the ground and ran for my life, only to end up at a dead end. The sound of growling could be heard behind me, and I knew that the dog has me cornered. Nothing but fear coursed through my body as I began to shake. I walked back as far as I could until my back hit the wall and just as it slowly advanced towards me, I screamed out,
"Somebody, anybody, help!"
Percy's POV
My pitch black paws thundered against the ground, my claws scraping the Earth every now and then and the wind brushed through my pitch black fur as I run through the forest, moving left and right as I dodge any incoming trees, successfully avoiding them all together. Why am I in the forest exactly? The answer to that is simply because my wolf, Austin, suddenly felt the need to go for a run through the forest, like he was expecting something to happen tonight. So, for the last few hours, I've done nothing but run through the place, taking a break here and there when necessary.
"Are you sure something is going to happen? We've been running for hours and it's been nothing but a quiet night." I said to Austin.
"Just a little longer Percy, I can feel that something is going to happen, and I don't think it's a good thing." Austin said in reply. All I did was let out a sigh and continued running on, focusing on my surroundings. Not long later, my ears picked up the sound of someone screaming.
"Somebody, anybody, help!" It sounded like a girl's voice, one full of desperation, and as fast as lighting, I bolted off, running to wherever the voice came from. I ran through the forest and, not long after, found myself near an alleyway. I stopped for just a moment and sniffed the air, noticing how the smell of the Underworld is in the air.
"Hellhound." Austin said. "We need to hurry. Judging by the scream just before, whoever it is in need of desperate help."
"Because I totally didn't know that. I simply thought the girl was going to be just fine." I said in a sarcastic voice as he stated the obvious.
"Really, Perseus Jackson? Now is not the time for your sarcasm."
"Well, maybe a certain someone shouldn't have pointed out the obvious."
"Perhaps we should go and save the girl, otherwise she could get severely hurt while we stand here arguing over something so silly."
"You started it."
"Real mature Percy, real mature." Austin stopped talking to me after that and I couldn't help but grin in satisfaction, although it might have looked a little odd since I'm in wolf form. I shook my head and immediately focused on the task at hand, saving the girl and killing a hellhound in the process. With that in mind, I ran into the alleyway, only to find the hellhound advancing on the girl. I took a quick glance at the girl and, all of a sudden, a spark ignited within me. I felt a certain pull towards her, as if right at this moment, she is the only thing that matters. A sudden, powerful urge to protect her overcame me and it caused both my wolf and I to do whatever it takes to protect her from any danger. Before I could wonder about it anymore, the hellhound began to ready itself for an attack. I bared my canines as I growled ferociously, and lunged at the hellhound, successfully knocking into it and sending it stumbling a few metres away. My sea-green eyes remained on the monster as I stood in front of the girl, preparing to do whatever it takes to protect her.

As I stood there in fear, the dog slowly advanced towards me, keeping its red, demonic eyes on me, watching my every move. After screaming for help, I thought that no one was coming, and that this is where I die. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain to come, however all I heard was a ferocious growl. I opened my eyes and looked to see a pitch black wolf with sea-green eyes lunging at the dog, successfully knocking it back a few metres. My eyes widened in shock as I noticed that, even though the wolf was focused on the dog, he stood in front of me, as if he was protecting me. "It's like the wolf doesn't want me to be hurt. But, how can that be? Wolves don't particularly protect humans, so why is he protecting me? Could it be that he is no ordinary wolf?' I shook my head from the thought and refocused on my surroundings, only to see that the wolf has the dog pinned down, snapping at its jaw. For some reason, I felt this sense of worry overcome me, as if I was worried about the wolf getting hurt. I felt an urge to help the wolf, but I resisted because I knew that if I tried anything to help, I would end up getting hurt and for some reason, I felt as if the wolf doesn't want me to get hurt. So, all I could do was watch and stay out of the way.
As the wolf snapped at the dog, I heard a sickening crack and I couldn't help but flinch from the sound. I heard the dog whimper and saw that it was trying to free itself before any further damage occurred. Unfortunately, it wasn't having such luck and the wolf clamped down on the dog's neck even harder. Not long after, the sound of whimpering could no longer be heard, in fact there was nothing but silence. I was about to go over and check to see if the dog was actually dead, but then I stopped in my tracks as it began to disintegrate into nothing but ashes, floating away with the wind. My eyes widened in shock, not believing what I was seeing. 'What just happened?' I thought, only to be brought out of my thoughts by someone, or something, rubbing their wet nose against my cheek. I looked to see who, or what, it was and saw that it was the wolf, looking at me with what looks to be a look of concern in his eyes, as if he was asking 'are you ok?' Usually in a situation like this, I would probably run for my life since I've never seen a wolf willingly protect a human before, but there was something about him that had me trusting this wolf, somehow knowing that he wouldn't do anything to hurt me. I don't know what came over me, but I wrapped my hands around him, hugging him tight.
"I don't know if you can understand me or not, but thank you so much for what you did. I would've died had it not been for you." I said.
Percy's POV
After hearing the sickening crack of the hellhounds neck, I noticed how the girl visibly flinched and I couldn't help but feel bad as she had to witness this. Wanting to end this quickly, I clamped down even harder on the monster's neck and watched as it's whimpers slowly died down until there was nothing but silence. Wanting to make sure it was dead, I waited for it to disintegrate into ashes, so I knew for a fact that it was dead. I didn't have to wait long as the body soon became nothing but ashes, which soon began floating in the wind. Once it was gone, I walked over to the girl, wanting to make sure she was ok. Once I approached her, I saw that she was deep in thought, so I placed my nose on her cheek, bringing her out of her thoughts. Before I knew what was happening, she wrapped her arms around me, hugging me tight.
"I don't know if you can understand me or not, but thank you so much for what you did. I would've died had it not been for you." She said. However, I couldn't really focus on her words as I was more focused on the sparks that coursed through my body the minute she touched me. As well as sparks, I felt my entire body filled with warmth, the type of warmth that only someone special can provide. A feeling of possessiveness overcame me, as if I don't want anyone looking, or even touching this girl, as if I'm the only one who can be around her. I felt as if this girl was mine, as if she belonged to me and me alone. I could even feel Austin purring in satisfaction at the warmth he's feeling from her. This confused me greatly as I had no idea what was going on.
"Austin, what's going on? Why am I feeling this way about a girl I don't even know?" I asked my wolf with confusion laced in my voice.
"Don't you feel it?" He replied.
"Feel what?"
"Don't you feel the pull towards this girl?"
"Yeah, but I don't understand why I'm feeling this way."
"It's because she's the one, she belongs to us."
"What do you mean the one?"
"She's our mate."
