Chapter 46:
"No..."
Jade can't be dead.
"This can't be happening.... she can't die.", I said.
"Just let her go.", Zac told me.
"No!", I yelled.
I fell on the floor crying.
"Harry's probably looking for you. We should leave.", Zac told me.
Zac drove me back to the hospital so I could see Harry and the kids.
Harry saw me crying.
"Is she okay?", he asked Zac.
"Just leave her alone for a little while.", Zac told him.
"I'm going back home.", I said.
Harry's POV:
"What happened?", I asked Zac.
"Jade died earlier today.", he explained.
"Are you sure?", I asked.
"Yes! Caitlyn was crying when she found out."
"Where is Caitlyn?", I asked.
"She went back home.", Zac said.
"I'll tell the kids and take them home with me."
Darcy, Dylan, Becca, Andrew and I got into Zac's car and he took us back to my house.
"Caitlyn!", I exclaimed.
"Go away, Harry!", Caitlyn shouted.
I wasn't taking no for an answer.
"Leave me alone!", she yelled.
I grabbed the spare key and unlocked the bedroom door.
"Why didn't you just tell me that Jade died?", I asked.
"I don't know.", Caitlyn said.
"You should have mentioned it.", I told her.
"I know. Now I'm actually glad that somebody told you about it."
Caitlyn's POV:
"What is this?", he said, pointing to a drawing on my wrist.
"I drew a heart. It's a symbol to help me stay strong.", I said.
"Okay. I just don't want you to hurt yourself.", Harry told me.
"As long as I have somebody by my side, I will be just fine.", I said.
"How did you stay strong in high school?", Harry asked.
"I didn't. I only had 3 friends, and a boyfriend.", I explained.
"Who was your boyfriend?", Harry asked me.
"I don't know if you'll believe this, but I dated Austin Mahone in high school.", I told him.
"What happened?", Harry asked.
"I dated Austin for a few months, but he had to move away to pursue his singing career.", I explained.
Harry looked right into my eyes.
"Don't worry. I'm listening."
"That summer, I got to go to London... and I met you.", I said.
"I remember the day we met.", Harry replied with a smile.
"I saw you at a restaurant table alone, and we started talking.", I explained.
"You said that you were a big fan.", Harry told me.
"I still am.", I replied.
"Then the boys and I took you to dinner, and I gave you my phone number.", Harry said.
"If that never happened, I don't know where I would be.", I whispered.
