Beaus POV
We had all been sitting in Ellie's hospital room for quite a while now, she was still in the same position. I felt really guilty because I had had that stupid argument with her before she left. Jai was sat by her side holding her hand, he hadn't moved since we had come in here. Nobody really spoke we were not really in the mood.
"Is anyone hungry?" Mum asked monotone.
"Nah" I said, I wasn't in the mood to eat.
"I'll go get some Macca's" Luke said, as he got up.
Mum nodded, mum told Luke what she wanted, me and Jai didn't want anything but mum told Luke to get us some food because we had to eat, Luke then walked out of the room.
After a while longer of just sitting there the doctor came in. "I need to talk to the legal guardian" he said.
"That's me" mum said, as she stood up.
"Can we go to my office?" He asked.
Mum nodded.
"Can I come?" I asked.
The doctor nodded and we followed him to a small office leaving Jai with Ellie.
Me and mum say down in 2 chairs and the doctor sat the other side of the desk in another chair.
"Ellie is in a mild coma" he explained, "she could wake up any moment now"
"Do you know how long?" I asked impatiently.
"It's could be days, weeks even"
Mum started crying, I put my arm round her to support her.
"She's in a good condition at the moment, we're going to keep her in intensive care" the doctor explained further.
"Okay" I said.
"She also has a cracked rib and several bruises" the doctor added.
Mum nodded, she wasn't in the mood to talk, she looked so worried.
"Could you tell me how exactly this happened?" The doctor asked.
"We don't really know, my brother found her in the park like that and she blacked out" I told him.
He wrote something down and nodded.
"Okay, we'll keep you updated" he reassured us.
"Thanks" I murmured as we left the room.
As soon as we got out the office door I hugged mum, "she'll be okay" I told her.
"I hope so" she said as she hugged me back.
We went back to Ellie's room to find Luke was back with the Macca's. I decided to eat a bit because I was starting to get hungry. Luke and mum also ate but Jai refused.
"Jai you need to eat" mum told him.
"No, I can't" he said bluntly.
Mum sighed heavily, she looked really stressed.
I went over to Jai, his hand was still gripped firmly around Ellie's hand.
"Jai, go sort yourself out, I'll sit here with Ellie" I assured him.
"Beau, I can't leave her" he moaned.
I sighed, I guessed he wasn't going to move, I went and sat back down next to Luke and finished eating.
Luke's POV
It was getting late, I started to get tired mum must have noticed.
"Do you guys wanna go home for the night?" Mum asked us.
"Yeah, that's a good idea" Beau said as he stood up.
"Will she be okay in her own?" I asked mum.
"She has lots is staff everywhere, they will call us straight away if she wakes up." This reassured me a bit, I nodded and got ready to leave.
Jai didn't move, he stayed glued in the same position, I don't even think he had let go of Ellie's hand since we had got here.
"Jai you coming bro" I asked him.
"Nah" he murmured, "I need to stay".
"Jai, nothing will happen to her" mum told him.
"I want to stay" he protested.
"Jai come home" mum begged him.
"No I'll be fine" he wasn't backing down.
"Fine, call if you need anything" Mum said, she went over and gave him a hug.
"Okay" he agreed.
"Bye bro" Beau said.
"Night made" I said, Jai just nodded at us both.
Mums car and Beaus car were here, I got into Beaus car with him. We didn't really talk on the way home, we were not really in the mood. To be honest all I felt like doing was crying but I wasn't going to do that in front of Beau, I was really worried about my little sister.
When we got home we took in in turns to shower and eat and then we pretty much went to bed so that we could go to the hospital early tomorrow.
Jai's POV
Doctors kept coming in and out of the room checking in Ellie. I couldn't bare to leave her so I had stayed with her, I wanted to be the first person she saw when she woke up. I was exhausted, I didn't want to sleep but I didn't really have a choice, I was so tired. I eventually fell asleep in the chair, still holding my little sisters hand.
I spoke to her, I didn't know if she could hear me or not.
"I love you Ellie" I spoke to her.
"I care about you so much" I added.
I woke up every hour or so to the beeping of the hospital, each time it took me a while to remember where I was but then it all came flooding back.
When it got to 5am I couldn't sleep anymore, all I wanted was too see my little sister wake up. I got my phone out and went on Twitter. All the fans where asking were we where because we hadn't been active since Ellie has been in the hospital.
I made a tweet:
Hey guys, we all love you lots. We're going through some Shit at the moment but I'm sure we'll be active again soon <3
I left it at that and put my phone back in my pocket. Beau must of seen my tweet because my phone started ringing a few seconds later.
I answered him call straight away.
Beau: hey bro you okay?
Jai: yea, why are you awake?
Beau: I couldn't sleep, look I'm going to the hospital now.
Jai: Beau, it's 5am.
Beau: I don't care.
Jai: okay, see you soon man.
I the hung up, at least I wouldn't be as lonely.
I stared at Ellie, her eyes were shut and her body was limp against the hospital bed. I then looked down to where our hands met, her hand was cold but I was still clinging to it as if my life depended on it.
Beaus POV
I couldn't sleep at all, I was too worried and I also felt really guilty.
My phone bleeped, I was a tweet notification from Jai, he was telling the fans not to worry.
I called him and he answered on the first ring.
Beau: hey bro you okay?
Jai: yea, why are you awake?
Beau: I couldn't sleep, look I'm going to the hospital now.
Jai: Beau, it's 5am.
Beau: I don't care.
Jai: okay, see you soon man
I got out of bed and chucked on some skinny joggers and a random shirt that was lying on the floor. I grabbed my wallet and house keys and chucked on a beanie because my hair was a mess. I then put on my vans and slowly crept out the house, I didn't want to wake anyone up because they needed there sleep.
I jumped in my car and started it up, there was no traffic because it was just after 5am so I got to the hospital in no time.
I walked as quickly as I could to Ellie room, the hospital was a maze of corridors and rooms. When I got to Ellie's room Jai was still in the exact same position as yesterday, he was still clinging on her hand.
I sighed, he looked up at me , he look absolutely exhausted.
I grabbed a chair from the other side of the room and pulled it up to his.
"Bro, go home and sort yourself out, I'll watch her I promise" I said as I put my hand on his shoulder.
"No beau I can't, what is she wakes up?" He protested.
"Then you'll be the first person I call" I said, trying to reassure him.
"No, I need to stay" he said stubbornly.
He wasn't going to change his mind, he just wanted to be there for her.
"Fine, but will you eat for me" I begged him.
"I'm not hungry"
"Jai" I moaned.
"Fine" he gave in, he realised that I wasn't going to give up.
I went too the vending machine inside the hospital and got him some crisps and a sandwich.
"Here you go" I said as I put them on his lap.
"Thanks" he mumbled.
I looked at Ellie's sadly, she looked so peaceful yet she had no idea what was going on around her. If only she would wake up, is only she knew how worried her family where about her. I sighed at my own thoughts.
Jai hadn't touched his food, I took the sandwich from him and opened it, I gave the opened sandwich to him.
"One bite, that's all one bite" I pleaded.
He rolled his eyes at me, he took a bite of the sandwich. He must of realised now hungry he actually was because before I knew it he has eaten it all, I let out a little smile in his direction, proud of my work.
Luke's POV
I woke up and looked at my phone for the time, it was 9am. I went into Beaus room to see I he could give me a lift to the hospital so that I could see Jai.
I walked in but he wasn't in there, I got my phone and called him, he answered straight away.
Luke: where are you?
Beau: the hospital, I came really early I didn't want to wake you up.
Luke: oh okay, I'll come with mum" I told him.
Beau: see ya
Beau then hung up, I went into mums room to find that she was ready.
"Beaus already at the hospital can we go soon" I said quickly as I wanted to get there as soon as possible.
"Yeah do you want any breakfast?" Mum asked.
"Nah" I replied.
"Okay, let's go" she said.
I was really worried about Ellie, and Jai to be honest because he had hardly moved. I wanted to get there as soon as I could so that when she did wake up she would be surrounded by the people who loved her.
We jumped in the car and I got in the passenger seat.
"Mum I'm really worried about her" I confessed quietly.
"I know Luke, so am I" she sighed.
She put out her free hand and rubbed my back for support.
"I'm worried about Jai as well, he's taking it pretty hard" I said.
"Try and convince him to go home for a bit for me please" mum asked.
"okay, I will" I nodded.
When we got to the hospital we both got out and walked in and too Ellie's room.
When we got there Beau and Jai where sat by Ellie's bed, I went over to Ellie and looked at her, she looked so peaceful. I kissed her head and held her hand for a while.
I then went over to Beau and Jai, beau gave me a brotherly man hug. Jai just slumped in his chair, he looked so tired.
"Jai, go home" I begged.
"He won't I've tried" Beau sighed.
Mum came over and gave Jai and Beau a hug, she then went and sat the other side of Ellie.
The doctor came in, "she doing well, she should wake up any time now" he said, I felt so relieved when he said this, my little sister would be awake soon.
I got a chair and pulled it up next to mum, I then went on my phone and checked all my social media sites. I had a text from James.
From James
What's wrong with Ellie?!
He must of seen what was happening on Twitter the fans had somehow found out and #GetWellSoonEllie was trending on Twitter.
"Hey look what's trending on Twitter" I said, I smiled as I said it.
"#GetWellSoonEllie" I added.
"That's cute" Beau smiled.
Even Jai let out a small smile.
I replied to James saying that we were in hospital and him and skip could come if they wanted.
The rest of the day just consisted of us sitting in Ellie's room, skip and James came and mum went home for a bit while we all stayed, she still couldn't get Jai to go home.
"She a strong girl, she'll be fine" James said.
"Yeah, she's strong" I agreed.
"Jai mate, you should go home for a bit" skip had a go at trying to convince him.
"No I can't" Jai protested once again.
Everyone had pretty much given on on Jai going home, he was in such a stubborn mood.
