•Ava's POV•
•4 months later•
"Jack! Stop!" I giggled as I woke up to Jack kissing me all over my face while tickling me.
"No! One year baby!" Jack said as he continued to kiss my face.
"Jack!" I squealed.
"Mine! You're all mine! I freaking love you!" Jack said as he sat on top of me holding my hands with our fingers intertwined.
"I love you," I smiled.
Jack leaned down and kissed me lightly as he gripped my hands. I wrapped my legs around his waist smiling against his lips.
When Jack pulled away he looked down at me and smiled.
"Happy one year baby," Jack whispered.
"Happy one year Gilinsky," I smiled.
"I feel like it's been much longer than a year," Jack said as I removed my legs from his waist and sat up.
"I know, I don't know how much of you I can take," I teased.
"Ouch," Jack said as he made a pouty face.
"You know I'm kidding!" I laughed as I wrapped my arms around his neck as he placed his hands on my waist.
"Better be," Jack chuckled.
"Well what's the plan for today?" I asked as we separated.
"Nothing," he simply said.
"Nothing? What do you mean nothing?" I said confused.
"Well Johnson and I have to go to the studio today, Matt can take you out though."
"I didn't realize it was Matt and I's anniversary today."
"It's not," Jack chuckled, "I swear tonight we will do something."
"I'm supposed to spend the day with you today Jack and you're just going to leave?" I said as he stood up.
"Ave's I'll get out of the studio as soon as possible I promise," Jack said as he started to grab clothes.
"Yeah sure, you're going to end up getting home at midnight."
"Don't get mad at me Ava please," Jack said as he started to walk towards me.
"Whatever, I'm just going to call Matt," I said as I stood up from the bed and grabbed my phone.
"Ava plea-" Jack was cut off by me slamming the door.
I know his career is everything and I support him all the way, but today we mark one year and he's spending it in the studio? Couldn't he have done that yesterday or tomorrow?
I unlocked my phone and called Matt waiting for him to answer.
"Hey Ave's what's up?"
"Can you come pick me up? Jack decided to go to the studio today when we make a year. Out of all days today! Sorry I'm rambling, can you just pick me up?"
"Yeah sure, I'll be over in 20."
"Okay, thank you Matthew I'll see you in a few."
"No problem Ave's"
I hanged up and went into the kitchen to grab something to eat while I waited for Jack to get out of the room that way I can just go inside and shower.
After 10 minutes, Jack came out and walked over to me.
"Ava, don't be mad at me on the day we make a year," Jack said.
"I have the right to be, you're going to be at the studio and I'm going to be with Matt, have fun." I got up and put my dish in the sink and started to walk to the room.
"I love you," I heard Jack say as I shut the door.
I took a 5 minute shower and got ready quickly. When I was putting on my shoes I heard a honk outside meaning that Matt was here.
I grabbed my phone, keys, and purse and walked out of the house and locked the door. Matt gave me a smile as he saw me walk out of the house and towards the car.
"Why so down Ave's? It's your one year anniversary lighten up," Matt said as I shut the car door.
"Yeah and he's spending it in the studio, so it's just any other day for me," I shrugged as I buckled my seatbelt.
"Ava, come on you can't be mad at G, it's his job to be there," Matt said as he pulled out of my driveway.
"I get that, but he couldn't take today off?"
"I'm sure he'll make it up to you," Matt said.
"I don't know if he can make up for missing out on our one year anniversary." I said as I looked out the window as the song All Back by Chris Brown started to play.
This is such a love hate song for me, it gets me in my feels when I don't want to be but I do like it.
"Ava," Matt said as he parked the car.
"Huh?" I said looking back at him.
"We're here, come on," Matt said as he unbuckled his seatbelt.
I stepped out of the car and walked over to Matt.
"The park?"
"We just need to get you in a good mood," Matt said.
"We?" I said with confusion.
I looked out to see Cameron walking towards Matt and I.
I smiled as Matt and I walked towards Cam.
"Hey there," Cameron smiled.
"Cameron," I smiled as we hugged.
"How've you been?" Cameron asked as we separated.
"Pretty decent," I shrugged.
"Your response was supposed to be that you're doing amazing, not only did you choreograph Shawn's music video but you make a year today Ave's you should be happy."
"She's kind of mad at G," Matt said.
"And why is that?"
"I mean isn't it obvious? I'm with y'all when I should be with him. He's spending our one year anniversary at the studio."
"You have to understand though Ave's it's what he does, I'm sure he would much rather be with you," Cameron said as we walked towards the park.
"I know it's his job I just want to have him with me right now," I said as I sat at the swing set.
"You'll see him later tonight, I'm sure of it," Matt said as he pushed me.
"Yeah, we'll see about that." I sighed.
•Jack's POV•
While Ava is mad at me I'm trying to make tonight an unforgettable one. We have one year together and tonight's the night. I don't want her to get dressed and have a sense that something is going on.
This is a full surprise, she's crazy to think I'm going to miss this. I have Matt and Cameron distracting her while Johnson and a few other people are helping me out.
This is all planned and I don't even know how many times I've gone over the plan with them.
Ava is at the park right now with Matt and Cameron to later on come across some fans that will give Ava a note.
This whole thing is like a scavenger hunt that I've got some fans involved in. This isn't an easy scavenger hunt it will take a good amount of time: enough for us to get everything ready.
Ava's mom, dad, brothers and some of the guys are here helping Johnson and I get everything beyond perfect. I got this private spot at the beach that way nothing can go wrong.
I've got her family here, friends, fans, and an amazing ring she can't say no to. I never thought I could fall so deep in love.
Finding the one wasn't easy, but I finally got her.
