3rd Person POV
Itachi and Naruto had arrived at the hide out in 3 minutes of fast flight and Naruto's flying thunder God jutsu which he had modified to his own seal like Minato.
"You sure about this, Naruto-kun?" Asked Itachi.
"Yes. The only people I can think of as family is you. You and Sasuke always treated me well unlike the other villagers and or ninja. And if what you told me is correct, I have a relative here." Responded Naruto.
"That is true. Well, Welcome to The Akatsuki!" Said Itachi with a smile.
"Thank you. Itachi. By the way, when are we going to go for Sasuke?" Asked Naruto.
"I'm not sure, Naruto. He turned just as arrogant as Mito. It's almost certain that he will turn to any means to acquire power to kill me." Stated Itachi.
"He still isn't over Shisui's death, huh?" Said Naruto.
"Yes. He got extremely close to Shisui. I was hoping to avoid that but it was in vain as the time came faster than expected. I thought his decease would take longer. I was not even expecting him to tell me to kill him. He was like an older brother to me." Said Itachi.
"I know. I can relate to that. He was my sensei after all. He gave me the strength to keep living unlike Minato. He was more of a father to me than Minato ever was. I still can't get over the fact that he chose ME, the demon scum, to wield his will. His Sharingan." Said Naruto.
Being the student of a well known Uchiha was a huge deal, unless you are the nine tails jinchuriki.
He was always the punching bag for many of the damn villagers during many of the fox hunts.
That was another of the many reasons why he despised the village. Besides being mistreated by his family, that is.
The so kind Fourth Hokage neglecting his own blood. Who would've thought that?
"Naruto, just one question. Did he give you both his eye or just one? And don't call yourself "demon scum", your are NOT!" said Itachi.
"He gave me both. I don't really understand how my eyes can still turn blue if his eyes were black. I have the hunch that Kurama modified them to actually adapt to my genetics." answered Naruto.
"How good can you control them?" asked Itachi
"I'd like to test that." A voice resounded on the hideout.
Suddenly there was a swirl in front of them and a masked man walked out of it with a beautiful girl.
The mysterious guy began taking his mask off to reveal one fully matured Sharingan eye and a closed one.
The guy had black hair and his skin was kind of pale. His right side looked like it was crushed but restored by some kind of experiment. The Sharingan resided in his right eye socket while the left one was close.
The girl had some sort of pink and brown color combination hair. She had one pink strip looking mark on both her cheeks. Her eyes were brown colored.
"Who are you?" asked Naruto. As his eyes changed to have three tomoes. But there was something else that surprised them.
Instead of the red eyes, his eyes remained the same color.
This made the three people there more interested in the Jinchuriki.
"My name is Obito Uchiha. I was a Leaf Shinobi just like you and Itachi." said Obito.
"My name is Rin Nohara. Also an ex Leaf Shinobi." said Rin.
'Their faces seem awfully familiar. But I cant quite point it out' thought Naruto.
Suddenly it clicked.
"So, you were Minato's students and Hatake's teammates." said Naruto earning wide eyes from Rin and Obito.
"How do you know that?! You weren't even born when we were team Minato!" asked Obito. His facial expression gave it away that he was nervous for the outcome of the answer.
"I know because those two were responsible for my decision to come here." answered Naruto.
What did he meant with that?
"The fact that Minato despised me and favored his daughter and Kakashi betrayed me are more than enough to me." answered Naruto with a calm but dangerous expression in his face.
"I see. So that makes 2 of us." said Obito.
"What do you mean by two?" asked Naruto.
"Well you see..."
~FLASHBACK~
"Those who break the rules are scum, but those who abandon their comrades, are worse than scum" were the words that Obito said before taking off to rescue Rin.
Kakashi had said that the mission was the main priority.
Even though he had a valid reason in his eyes, Obito considered Rin far more important than the damn mission. Yes, he was aware that the outcome of the mission would decide the direction of the war at the time, but he knew what was wrong and what was right. To put it in perspective, Mission=Worthless, Rin=Important.
This was Obito's mentality at the moment.
~TIME SKIP~
Kakashi's eye was gone now. Obito in his rage of being unable to protect both his teammates, awakened his sharingan. A damn enemy ninja had slashed Kakashi in the eye. The outcome of it, a dead enemy ninja.
"O-Obito, y-your eyes!" said an amazed Kakashi.
Obito couldn't shake the excitement of awaking his sharingan.
But he had to rescue Rin.
~INSIDE THE CAVE~
Rin has been released from the Genjutsu that the enemy ninja had inflicted on her.
Now Kakashi had been hit on the head with a falling rock of the now collapsing cave.
On instinct, Obito jumped and pushed Kakashi out of the way, in the process, getting crushed by the now collapsed cave
As the result of it all, Obito gave Kakashi his sharingan as a gift for rising to Jounin rank.
~TIME SKIP~
On this day, we find Kakashi impaling Rin with his Raikiri. In the process, betraying Obito.
~FLASHBACK END~
"Kakashi failed to protect Rin, and I "died" because Minato's tardiness." stated Obito.
With his explanation, Naruto knew that Obito understood his pain. He knew that he would get along with him.
"I see. So we both have the same people to blame." stated Naruto.
"Yes" simply answered Obito.
"Alright, let's get on with the battle, shall we?" asked Naruto excited, returning to his cheery self that had not been seen for quite a while now.
"You Bet'cha" said Obito also returning to his old cheery self.
Both Itachi and Rin coul see that they both were the same person in two different bodies.
Both Sharingan users chakra flared to epic proportions impressing both Itachi and Rin. Also attracting the attention of the Akatsuki members as they slowly arrived at the battlefield.
Suddenly, a orangette guy arrived and begun the battle. He also was interested in the blond as he saw his eyes.
"Mangekyou Sharingan!" both ex Leaf Shinobi yelled.
Suddenly, a green Susano'o and greyish Susano'o flatred in the battlefield.
Both the Susano'o rushed at each other and clashed swords. But Obito could feel that something was not right.
Soon his doubts were confirmed.
"You know, Obito nii-san..." began Naruto surprising everyone by the suffix.
"The moment you saw my eyes, you lost the battle." said Naruto making Itachi widen his eyes.
"Kotoamatsukami..." whispered Itachi as a smirk made it's way to his face.
"I can now make you do anything I wish. I casted the ultimate genjutsu besides the Tsukuyomi on you. I know that Itachi-san already figured it out. I used Kotoamatsukami, a technique that gives me the control of your mind to make you do my bidding. I can even make you commit seppuku if I felt like it right now." said Naruto making everyone but Itachi to widen their eyes.
"This win goes to me!" said Naruto enthusiastically.
Everyone for some reason had a small smile in their face. Everyone could see that this boy would be the humor and little brother of the organization.
