Your POV
I stood in shock as I watched the girl in front of me cry. Quin still tried to get up, but to no avail. She was barley managing to stay on her knees. Her breathing was heavy as more tears came out of her eyes. She clenched her fist, unable to do anything. I let my flames burn out, there was no use for them anymore. I wasn't going to kill someone that was struggling so hard keep fighting.
"It's not fair," she choked out. "I was never able to beat you even when you weren't there. That's why I hate you. You've always had it easy. You got friends, a boy friend, a family, and you didn't do anything to earn them!" She beat her fist into the ground with anger. "Father was constantly comparing me to you. It was always '(y/n) could do this before she could even walk' or '(y/n) would be able to do that without breaking a sweat' and it would just never end! I would try my best and work my ass off but I was nothing would change. It was never good enough for father." Her voice was shaky and her body was trembling. "So then that one day, when Cole came back empty handed, I thought I found hope. I thought maybe, if I could beat you and bring you back, then father would finally accept me, and I would prove to him that I was better. But even then I had to beg father to let me go, he never believed in me. Even then, I was only his back up plan."
I stood there expressionless, not knowing what to think. What was I supposed to do? What was I supposed to say? I felt sorry for her.
"What am I going to do now?" She mumbled. "I can't go back, not anymore. Father is just gonna abandon me. I'm gonna end up just like Cole, like trash, like nothing. But, I don't want to be that way. It's not fair!"
"It doesn't have to be," I said, my voice was incredibly calm. "You still have your own life. You don't need that man." I crouched down beside her, as if she was a child that needed comforting. "You will be fine on your own."
She pushed me away. "Don't pity me!" She shouted. "I don't need your comfort."
I smiled and then stood up boldly. "Then don't look like someone who needs pity. Stand up and walk on your own feet. Do what you wanna do."
She was finally able to wobble herself to a standing position. She smirked, "Don't take this kindly, but thanks. I still hate you so this isn't gonna be the last time we meet."
I returned the smirk and said, "I wouldn't dream of it. I still don't forgive you for any of the things you did to my friends and I never will. Next time you come close to any of us, get ready for a world of pain."
And with that we parted ways.
Time Skip (='∀｀)人('∀｀=)
When I found the others, they were still in pretty bad shape. It wasn't until then when I remembered I had a healing ability that I could've used in the beginning. After healing them a bit, I dragged their bodies back to their rooms. I went door to door, checking up on all of them until they woke up.
"(Y/n)?" Killua mumbled. He squinted his eyes and rubbed his head as he tried sitting up. "What happened?"
"Good your awake. Quin knocked the day lights out of you," I said in a teasing tone. I laughed at myself, amazed after all I just went through, I was still able to make a joke.
He smiled. "Gah, I feel so useless now." He let himself fall back into his bed. "I can't even protect you."
"I honestly didn't need your protecting. Plus I'm still a bit mad about you kissing my sister."
His cheeks grew red and he got flustered. "About that, i-it was my fault. S-he kissed me, I didn't know what happened, it just happened."
"Don't worry about it," I laughed. "I know it's not your fault, but I'm still mad about it. I can't do anything about that because feelings just don't go away like that. It's not like I'm just gonna stop talking to you."
He smiled, "That's a relief."
Soon after, the others woke up too. With my nen ability they were able to recover quickly. But there was still something bothering me.
"Hey Killua I'm gonna go home for a bit."
"Want me to come?" He asked, his eyes looked worried but he acted calm.
"Nah, I think I can handle this. I should be back by tonight."
After a short pause he said, "Okay, don't be late."
Time Skip ( ﾟдﾟ)( ﾟдﾟ)( ﾟдﾟ)
I took the shortest route to my home. Fortunately it was only a 5 hour ride by jet. When I got there it was just as I left it. It was big and old fashioned mansion that was surrounded by thick woods. The woods was a complete maze and any normal person would never be able to make it back alive, considering all of the monsters in there. But for someone who is unfortunate enough to be in this family is expected to be able to walk in the woods freely. I walked in the house and was greeted by no one. No servants no nothing. I walked down the halls that were too familiar, passing my old room, my mothers room, the room where I was tortured, until I made my way to the back of the halls. The place where my father was.
I swung open the doors with ease. He looked up with his hard eyes in surprise.
"(Y/n)?" His voice had the same dark tone as always, but now with a softer sound. "You've finally come home."
"Don't get the wrong idea." I spat out, my tongue was venom and my words were ice cold. "I'm here for one reason only. I'm shocked that you still think that I would actually come back to this hell. After everything you did, how could I forgive you."
"I'm sorry," he muttered.
Those words are things I never heard him say before. "Bull shit! That's a god damn lie! What about Cole? What about Quin? If you were really sorry-"
"Those two are nothing to me," he cut me off. "Every thing I ever did was for you."
"Do you ever spot spewing out this garbage from your mouth? You tortured me! I nearly died because of you!" I screamed at him. I took deep breaths. I wanted to kill him so badly, he deserved to rot in hell. "I didn't come her to fight. I came here because I wanted to make sure that you know that I'm never coming back again. And if you're ever gonna try to bring me back, at least come in person. My answer will always be no but then I won't have to risk hurting someone who doesn't need to be apart of this. I'll be able to take on whatever you got to throw at me, but if you ever hurt my friends, my family, or anyone else, be ready to die." I took one last deep breath as he stood there speechless. My eyes were filled with rage and anger as I shouted, "Now take a good look at me! Make sure you remember this because this is the last time you will ever see me again!"
With out another word, I barged out of the room, out of the house and made my way home.
Time Skip ☆〜（ゝ。∂）
"So how did things go with your father?" Killua asked.
I didn't even have to tell him anything but he just knew everything already. I smiled,"Just how you would expect it to go. I screamed at him, told him to fuck off and left." I replied and sighed. "It's a big relief actually. Like a big weight is being lifted off my shoulders."
"That's good," He said."Because I was thinking about having a small celebration party."
"That sounds amazing."
