Jessica's POV
I heard my phone ring at 3 am in the morning, I look at the caller ID and it was none other than my older brother, Jake.
"Jake there better be a good reason as to why you're calling me at 3 am damn it " I say sleepily into the phone
"3 am?? Oh wait, I forgot. Timezones. But you owe me an apology " he says
"For what exactly?" I ask him, wondering what on earth I did to have to apologize to him
"Well, for leaving without even saying goodbye. I didn't even get the chance to give you my famous super brother goodbye hug " He says sadly. Ironically it's what I didn't do that made him want an apology.
I chuckled "I'm glad I escaped that one"
"That's not funny " He says in a girly tone
"Okay, I'm sowwwyy that I wweefftt without saying goodbye" I say in a baby tone.
"Fine you're forgiven, tell me though, are there any hot girls in Amsterdam?? "
I decided to tease him a bit
"Dude the place is flooded with hot girls, not that I care but you would swoon, they're so pretty and stuff" I say
"Damn it, I knew I should've convinced mom that I should go with you, anyway how is the whole DJ thing going?? "
"It's going great actually. I met my Idol who told me I was beautiful and I got signed and stuff so I'm really happy " I say happily.
"That's great kiddo, anyways I don't want to keep you up so I'm gonna go"
"Oh thank god you said it first " I say
"Okay okay, wanna get rid of me I see "
"Get rid of you? Gosh no ,absolutely not, I would never want to get rid of you"
"Bye Jess"
"Bye Jake " I hung up and went back to sleep.

I woke up again at 8:30am and decided to take a shower and get dressed in some ripped boyfriend jeans, a black crop top and my black converse. As for accessories I just added an arrow necklace, and my "John Lennon" sunglasses. I grabbed my keys, laptop, headphones and put them all in my black backpack then headed out. The weather in Amsterdam was amazing, First I decided to head to the Spinnin' Records studios and officially release my track so I could also put it on Beatport. There was already a car waiting downstairs for me, how convenient. My manager was in the front seat and talked me through what I had to do and stuff. Once he was done talking I continued my remix and then we arrived at the studio.
My manager said he'd meet me at 3 to take me to the Revealed studios. I got out and walked into the elevator.
"Hold the elevator please" a guy said trying to catch the elevator. I held it open for him and he went in, I don't think he really saw me because he had an open laptop in his hands, he looked like he was working on a track while walking simultaneously. He turned around and looked at me with a smile.
"Thanks " He said, he didn't really have an accent so I'm guessing he's not Dutch.
"No problem" I smiled
"Hey, I think I've seen you before, are you signed to Spinnin'? " He asked
"Yep, just got signed yesterday, I'm Jessica " I said introducing myself
"I'm Alex, welcome to the fam" He said happily
"Wait, you look really familiar, don't you have a brother? " I asked
"Yeah! Chris, he's actually upstairs, I was running a little late today so he decided to race me to the studio" He said
"Wait, you guys are DVBBS?" I asked again, oh gosh, I feel like I'm annoying him
"Yep, we are " He said not looking annoyed whatsoever.
"Hi, I'm Jessica, Jessica Anderson. Huge fan"
"Hey aren't you the one who took over the industry over night with 'nothing can hold us down?' " he asked
"Yep that's me"
"Dude, you're insane! Great track by the way!"
*Ding* we reached the 27th floor and got out
"So, which studio did you get? " He asked
"I think studio 5" I said
"Oh great, Chris and I have studio 4 so we're neighbors " He said happily
"Cool, so I'll see you around" I said
"Yeah, see ya" He smiled and went into the studio
I also went into mine and looked around. Woaaahhh this is epic, there were buttons and knobs and amazing equipment everywhere.
I sat down and started working on the first song on my album, after a few hours I finished the first song and then a brilliant idea popped into my mind.
I went out and walked next door to studio 4. I knocked and then Alex opened the door.
"Oh hey Jessica, we were just about to go over to your studio " He said and gave me a side hug "But, since you're already here, welcome to our super awesome Woozy studio" He said happily
"Dude why'd you open the.. Well who do we have here?" Chris turned around with a smile
"Chris this is Jessica " He said "Jessica, this is my brother Chris" He continued
"Wait, you're the one who did "Nothing can hold us down" aren't you? " Chris asked
" yeah that's me "
"Dude, you are so awesome. That's such a great track! " He said and high fived me
"Thanks man " I replied
"I heard you were working on an album and you have 7 collabs on it and I was wondering if you'd like to collaborate with us" Alex said.
"That was exactly what I was thinking, that's pretty much why I came over here! " I said happily
"Well that's great then! Let's do it" Chris said.
"We should start now!" Alex implied
"Sure why not?" I said so we all sat down and opened a new file and worked on a new track.
After a few hours we finished it and we were all beyond satisfied with it.
"So what should we call it?" I asked
"Hmmmm.. How about Pyramid?" Chris asked
"That's perfect" Alex and I both said. I snapped a picture with the guys and opened twitter and insta.
I posted both pics with the caption

They both followed me and snapped a pic of me while I was using my phone

We like each others pics then looked at each other and busted out laughing.
"We got no social skills" Chris blurted out
"None whatsoever " I laughed
I got a text and opened it, my manager was waiting downstairs, it was already 3:30
"Guys my manager is downstairs and I gotta go " I said sadly
"Don't leave ussssss" Alex shouted
" I have to but I'll see you guys tomorrow! " I said and gave them both a hug, we exchanged numbers and then I went downstairs.
"Already have your first collab finished I see, and you decided it all by yourself. I'm proud of yah kiddo" My manager Mark said
"Thanks Mark" I replied with a smile
"Okay so, now we're off to the revealed studio" He said

We arrived at the Revealed studios after 15 minutes and once again my manager gave me all the info and I went upstairs. Robbert was gonna give me the studio number so I had to go see him first. Apparently he was in studio 9 so that's where I went.
"Jess, hey! I saw you've done a collab with DVBBS and I'm jealous so I've decided that we should collab as well" Daan said from behind me
"Oh hey Daan, and yeah I would be honored! " I said and gave him a hug, "Have you seen Robbert anywhere? " I continued
"Yeah. He's not here today, you actually came into my studio " He said with a laugh.
"Darn it, I don't know which studio I'm getting " I said
"Well you're neighbors with Jordy so I'm guessing you're getting studio 25 because his is 26" Daan said
"Oh cool,then I can meet him"
"Yeah he's an awesome dude, he goes by the name dyro "
"Great name " I said and went up to the 8th floor to studio 25, I opened the door and there was already someone inside, he was facing his computer and then he turned around.
"Oh uh I'm sorry "I said embarrassed. God, I'm gonna kill Daan
"Are you okay?" He said looking concerned
"Uh, yeah why?" I ask a little confused as he walked over to me. I must say he's really attractive.
"Because it must have hurt when you fell from heaven" He said with a cheesy smirk, I rolled my eyes and chuckled
"Oh I'm sorry, you're mistaken because I climbed my way up from hell " I said. Best way to kill a cheesy pickup line
"So that's why you're so fucking hot" He said with a smirk.
" Who died and made you a smooth criminal?" I said with a laugh
"Michael Jackson did" he said with a chuckle. "I'm Jordy " He said smiling "You must be my confused and really beautiful studio neighbor Jessica "He continued and I blushed. Damn this guy is hella good at flirting.
"Well thank you " He said and I realized I'd said that last part out loud which made me blush even more.
"Uhm, uh Daan told me I got studio 25? " I asked
"Well no actually, Daan is just stupid, you got studio 26" He said with a laugh.
"Oh uh thanks, and I'm so gonna kill Daan " I said
"Why, if it wasn't for Daan then we wouldn't have had this fun conversation " He smiled
"Indeed, well I'll see you around.
"You surely will" He winked and I left and went to work in my studio. Oh how fun.
