Lexi's POV
Don't you just love those moments when you don't know what to do and what to think. Or when you just can't stand the thought of living the next day.
When you think why does my life matter anyway? Who does this benefit? Not me for sure.
Anyway Robin is making me go to some family Christmas Eve party. She keeps telling me to 'dress up'. I don't like dressing up though because I never really do and when I do I want it to be for something important.
I walked out of my room and knocked on Maddie's.
"Come in" I heard her yell
She was looking at her closet.
"Oh hey" she said glancing at me
"So what are you wearing?" I asked
"Um probably a fairly nice shirt and some shorts"she shrugged
"Ok, I just didn't know your moms definition of dress up" I said
"here" she tossed me a shirt, "wear this"
It was a black long sleeved shirt, almost like a sweat shirt. It had white pearls running down the sides of the arms.
"Just throw some shorts on with it" she said
I give Maddie credit, she has a nice style. I walked back to my room and put it on along with some jean shorts. I walked to my bathroom and brushed my teeth. I then brushed out my blonde hair. I applied some makeup and put some pearl earrings to match.
I dug through my closet and found some black flip flops with a slight wedge. They had jewels on the front and were nice.
Robin yelled for us to come down and I grabbed my phone. I walked down the stairs. Maddie was already down there and Robin smiled at us in delight.
"You girls look so beautiful!" She gushed
"Thanks Robin" I said
"Thanks mom" Maddie said
She sighed, "Anyways let's get going"
We got into the car and left.

The car ride was an hour long and we ended up parking in front a nice house. It wasn't huge, but it wasn't small.
There were cars parked everywhere and we parked. I stepped out.
"Watch out, these people are crazy" Maddie whispered in my ear and I stifled a laugh along with her.
Robin glared at Maddie then we walked up to the house. Robin knocked on the door and a middle aged woman came to the door.
"Robin!" She smiled widely and they hugged
"Why hello Maddie aren't you as beautiful as ever!" She gushed
"Thanks Aunt Emily" she said but she looked bored
"Aww, so this is Alexis!" She said turning to me
"It's Lexi actually" I said politely
"Forgive me, Lexi. You are gorgeous! Well anyways, my name is Emily. Robins sister. " she said
"Thank you, Emily" I said
"Any who, I won't keep you all waiting. Everyone's very excited to meet you" she said moving aside for us to come in.
I walked onto the hard wood floors and looked around. There were stairs right at the entrance. To the left there was a nice dining room and to the right there was a small living room. Maddie and Robin guided me to the kitchen. There were lots of people there any they were all talking. I was introduced to everyone.
After Maddie took my hand and led me downstairs.
"This is where we hang out" she said excitedly and we walked down some stairs to the basement.
We walked down stairs and there were 3 boys playing a game and 2 girls on the couch and one getting a drink.
"Maddie!" The girl who was getting a drink said
"Hey Naomi!" Maddie said and they hugged
Everyone turned, even the boys and looked. The boys eyes were glued to me, except for one.
"Guys this is Lexi, technically my sister" she said
"Hey" I waved
I looked at the one boy who wasn't staring at me. He was smirking. Then I realized it was Theo.
"Theo?" I asked shocked
Everyone gave us confused looks.
"You know each other" Naomi asked
"Barley" Theo said holding his smirk and turning around
Maddie gave me a confused look and raised an eyebrow.
"He basically stalks me" I smirked
Theo looked flustered, " Do not!"
"You knew my name before I told you" I pointed out
"Yeah, but that's only because I've seen you at fights—"
"She fights?" A boy asked surprised
"You street fight?" Maddie asks quickly
"She doesn't just fight," Theo says, "She wins every time."
"Have you ever lost?" A boy asks excitedly
I thought for a minute.
"No"
"She fought Gravity, Deck, Killer, Dog, Red, Scarlett, Luna—"
"You beat all of them?" A boy asked
"Yeah, there technique is sloppy and leave to many opening spots. They may be big, but they aren't to skillful." I shrugged easily
They all had there mouths open.
"Let's go" one of the boys said confidently
I raised an eyebrow
"Dude, you don't want to—"
He stood up and walked towards me. He towered over me.
"You sure about this, big boy?" I teased putting a finger on his chest
He smirked and threw a punch at my face and I caught it and twisted his arm. He shrunk in pain.
"Go easy on him Lexi" Theo laughed as he watched
I smiled to the boy, "Ok, I will"
I let go and took a fighting stance. He swung his foot at my face and I caught and flipped him over. He groaned and swiped at my feet. I fell but swung myself up. I let him stand and punched him in the gut. He grunted and swung at me. I dodged and moved swiftly behind him elbowing him In The back as I did. I grabbed him shoulder and punched him in the back. He spun around and grabbed my waist and threw me but I grabbed him and steadied myself. He looked frustrated.
"Aww," I grabbed his face, "that's cute"
I kissed his cheek and he looked so shocked I laughed and punched his jaw. I roundhouse kicked him and he fell.
"Had enough?" I heard Theo say and I fixed my hair
The boy nodded and I helped him up.
"She didn't even break a sweat" he huffed Ashe turned to Theo
I laughed.
Maddie laughed to and said
"That's Andrew," she pointed to the guy I just fought.
"This is Amber and Paige" she pointed to the two girls on the couch.
"That's Jake, and you know Theo" she said
"Don't get on her bad side Madds" Jake laughed a little still holding his face
"Anyways, how's everyone?" She asked
Everyone said good and nodded.
We all talked and laughed. A while later I was on couch and Amber pulled out some beer. We clapped. And she bowed. We drank and Jake, Paige, Amber, Maddie, And Andrew were all drunk.
I walked up to Theo who was on the couch drinking.
"Hey" he said
"Hi" I said sitting next to him
"I didn't know that Maddie's Mom has fostered you" he explained
"It's fine" I shrugged. I don't really need an explanation.
We sat in silence for a while just drinking.
"Can I say something" he asked a little slurred
I nodded and met his eyes
"You are the most kick-ass, beautiful, and amazing girl I've met" he said
"Thanks" I said and glanced away
"You are sexy as hell" he blurted out licking his lips and eyeing me a little
I don't know if it was the alcohol or him but he leaned I and kissed me.
Now for me I knew it was the alcohol because I kissed him back. I didn't like him though. I was just craving someone's touch so much. He was just a filler to a hole.
He grabbed my waist as the kiss deepened and my hands tangled in hIs hair. He hands moved up and grabbed my boobs. I moaned against his lips.
He pulled away "sorry" he mumbled
"It's ok" I gave him a small smile. But he wasn't the same as Zach. Zach is the one I want to be kissing.
The last thing I need to do is drive him into my crazy ass life.
