The guilt of a father

"You think you grown" He said with a mug. I juss laid on my bed without saying a word. He was about to strike my face when Marissa screamed "Babe I need you in the kitchen". He looked at me with a look that said you just got lucky. I feeling of relief poured over me. He always does this when he's been drinking or feeling guilty about momma. See he's the reason she's dead,And yeah he love her but hate to think about her. That Marissa lady helps him with that sometimes. That's the only reason she here. She knows it too ,but She using him for his drug dealing money. So she really doesn't care. Now why does he beat me sometimes you ask? Well because I remind him to much of momma and he knows I hate him. Plus like I said he a drunk. For awhile I laid there crying then I walked to my bathroom. My bottom lip was bleeding and my cheek was bruised. I wondered would Atlanta change my father or make him worse but I tried to hope for the best. After that I went to sleep because tomorrow was my last day at central wood high and then off to Atlanta I go.
