•Ava's POV•
I ran downstairs to grab my luggage as Jack was changing in the bathroom. Everyone else had left without notice.
I walked back up with my suitcase & into the room to see Jack in the bed knocked out.
I left my suitcase on the side and got in the bed.
"Psstt, Jack Gilinsky, wake up," I whispered in his ear.
"Psstt, Ava Rose, let me sleep till you get ready," he whispered back.
"Okay, I'll let you rest till I get ready," I kissed his cheek & got off the bed till he grabbed my wrist holding me back.
"Sleep with me," he smiled.
"Gilinsky, I must get ready," I giggled, "we can sleep later."
"Fine, hurry then don't take too long or I'll be fast asleep."
"Okay, I will," I walked to the restroom & shut the door. I put on my maroon bikini & flannel & tied my hair back in a pony tail.
"I'm all done Gilinsky," I stepped out of the restroom seeing Jack still in bed.
"Hey I didn't take that long, come on Jack let's get going," I walked over to him & grabbed his hand trying to pull him out of bed.
"Avaaaaa," he groaned.
"Jackkkkk," I mocked him.
"I'm up, I'm up!" He said as he sat up on the bed.
"Yay now come on, the night is perfect," I spun in a circle laughing.
"You are so beautiful," he said smiling.
"Oh stop lying & lets get going," I laughed.
"You really are Ava," he pulled me towards him holding onto my waist.
I looked down at him as he looked up at me, "Well thank you Jack, you are a very attractive guy," I winked at him laughing.
"Why thank you, now let's get going," Jack stood up & took my hand having me follow him downstairs.
When we stepped out of the cabin we could hear the guys yelling as they jumped in the lake.
"I think I'm just going to lay here with Ash & look up at the stars," I said as we got near the lake.
"Okay, but I'll come back for you Ave's," he laughed & ran off with the guys.
I laid down next to Ash & looked up at the sky, in Dallas you don't get to see the stars because of the city lights, but if you get further away from the city lights & find a good spot, then you'll have a perfect view of the stars.
"Hey there Ava," Ash said turning to me.
"Well hello there young Ashley," I laughed looking at her.
"I felt like I haven't talked to you in forever Ave's!"
"I know! I've been replaced by Taylor," I laughed.
"Oh Ava, no on will ever replace you!" She laughed.
"I sure hope not," I giggled, "so how are things with you & Taylor?"
"Amazing! He's awesome, I still can't rap my mind around the fact that we're hanging out with the guys as if we've known them for years."
"I know it's crazy, it's almost hard to believe," I pinched myself to make sure all of this was reality, & well it was.
"How are you & Jack?" Ash asked.
"Johnson? Oh we're good, I have a good feeling that we will become great friends, same with Matt I feel like we'll be close too," I slightly laughed.
"No stupid Gilinsky!" Ash laughed.
"I know, I was kidding, but we're good he's a nice guy," I smiled as I looked up to the sky.
"Like a "nice guy that can eventually become Ava's boyfriend" nice?" She asked raising her eyebrow.
"I don't know, I mean don't get me wrong! I'd love to have him as a boyfriend but he just got out of a relationship with Madison, I doubt he would want to be with me," I shrugged.
"You may never know Ave's," she smiled.
"Ava! Ash! Y'all have to come in!" I heard Cameron say.
"We're good here!" Ash said.
I heard someone run towards us & I looked up seeing it was Jack.
"Ava come on you have to come in," he sat down next to me.
"Why? I'm having a lovely conversation with Ashl-" he cut my off by pointing towards Ash's direction. Taylor had came & took her with him.
"Looks like you aren't anymore," Jack laughed.
"Well I was," I laughed.
"Come on, get in with me it feels nice."
"Isn't it cold?!" I widened my eyes.
"I mean once you get used to it then it's nice," he chucked.
"Fine, help me up," I reached my hand out in the air for Jack to pull me up.
He stood up & took my hand pulling me towards him.
"Thank you kind sir," I laughed.
"You are very welcome," he chuckled.
We walked towards the lake & I saw all the guys jumping in, doing backflips & front flips.
"You ready to go in?" Jack asked.
"I don't know, seems cold," I looked up at him.
"Come on once you get it over with, you'll get used to it & you'll be jumping in like nothing, I'll even jump in with you," he smiled as he took my hand.
"Fine," I let go of his hand & took off my flannel & tossed it aside, "okay I'm ready," I took his hand & we walked over to the lake.
"I like how you look without the flannel," he laughed.
"I'm sure you do Gilinsky," I laughed.
"You ready to jump in?" He gripped my hand.
"Let's just get it over with," I squeezed his hand.
"Okay on three," he looked at me.
"One, two, three," Jack said and we jumped in, I held my breath as I hit the water. It was cold & I came back up wiping my face with my hand & saw Jack.
"Jack! It's so cold!" I said.
"You'll get used to it, it's not cold for me," he laughed.
"Ugh I'm going to swim around to get used to it," I said as I started swimming.
After a few laps I got used to the water so I swam next to Matt.
"Hello Matthew Espinosa," I laughed.
"Hello Ava Rose, how's your night going?" He asked.
"Pretty good, I'm happy y'all brought us here,"
"Hey don't thank me, thank Jack, this was all his idea," he smiled at me.
"Really?"
"Yeah, he set this whole thing up, when you dropped him off last night he told us what he wanted to plan for today, so when he told us we got right on it, it wasn't easy trust me, since it was late it was hard to get a hold of people but we did it," he smiled
"Why did he want to do all of this?"
"I mean isn't it obvious Ave's? To spend time with you duh, he did all of this for you,"
"For me?!" I looked out to see Jack as I talked to Matt.
"Yup, all for you, I wasn't kidding when I said he's into you," Matt winked at me & signaled me to go with Jack.
"You know I see you & I becoming great friends Matthew," I smiled & kissed his cheek.
"I do too Ava," he smiled & hugged me.
"I'll see you around Espinosa," I said as we separated.
"I'll see you around Rose," he said as I swam off towards Jack.
Jacks back was towards me so I decided to jump on him & cover his eyes.
"Hey their Jack Gilinsky," I laughed as I whispered in his ear.
"Is this the one and only Ava Rose?" He chucked.
"Well I don't know is it?" I laughed & kissed his cheek.
"Oh indeed it is, I recognize those lips," he laughed.
I laughed & uncovered his eyes, "well looks like you're right!" I hopped off his back.
"Now what's my prize?" He asked raising his brow.
"Prize? For what?" I laughed.
"For knowing it was you," he chuckled & faced me holding onto my waist.
"You get a hug from me!" I laughed as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Score! A hug from the Ava Rose! Just what I wanted!" He laughed & picked me up spinning me in the water.
I laughed as he spun me around.
"How's tonight going so far for you?" Jack asked as he set me down.
"Amazing, thanks to you," I smiled.
"Why thanks to me?" He asked.
"Matt told me that you set this whole day up, that all of this was your idea," I looked up at him smiling.
"He told you that," he rubbed the back of his neck chuckling.
"Yup & I appreciate it," I got on my tippy toes & pecked his lips.
"Thats your real prize," I smiled and tried to swim away but he grabbed my wrist & pulled me toward him holding onto my waist.
"Not leaving this time," he whispered to me.
He held me tight & close to him, I tried to escape from him but couldn't. He was resting his forehead on mine & I could feel his his lips brush against mine barely touching them.
"You're something different Ave's," he whispered to me making me close my eyes.
He kept one hand on my waist & cupped my cheek with his other. And just like that, he pulled away.
"Such a tease Gilinsky!" I laughed.
"Oh did you want me to kiss you?" He asked with a smirk on his face.
"Maybe, but it's too late for that," I smiled as I swam away.
He swam after me & stopped me.
"Well now you'll get it," he laughed & held me tightly close to him.
He brushed his lips against mine & held my waist lightly & just when I was going to kiss him I went under water, I came back up & smiled.
"Look who's the tease now," he laughed.
"Hey you started it." I laughed as I got out of the lake.
