•Ava's POV•
When we got to Ash's place we got in the pool for a night swim. Then once we all showered we all went upstairs to watch a movie in the game room.
It took a while to agree on a movie but we ended up watching Ted 2 we were all in the mood for a comedy.
The guys ended up staying over, while they went to sleep at 11, Jack and I stayed awake, talking, actually getting to get to know each other.
Jack & I were on the couch & we were facing each other.
"We're you born in Dallas?" Jack asked.
"Yeah, I've lived here my whole life,"
"That's cool!"
"It gets boring! I want to move somewhere out of Texas, possibly travel the world, that would be amazing," I smiled.
"You should! It's an amazing experience to travel around the world, but trust me you will get homesick." He laughed.
"Yeah I'm pretty sure I would get homesick," I shrugged, "as bad as I want to leave I know I would miss Dallas, like crazy," I laughed.
"Yeah I know when Jack & I left Omaha we were so homesick, we still miss it every once in a while," Jack said.
"Yeah, I know for sure that will be me," I laughed.
"When's your birthday Ave's?"
"March 16! Just thinking of it makes me want to cringe, I'm going to be turning 20 in only a few months! So old!" I made this funny face.
"I know! I just turned 19 a few months ago! Thinking about turning 20 makes me feel so fucking old!" He laughed.
"I know! Like I feel like just yesterday I was just starting high school!" I laughed.
"Gosh so you're older than me by a few months," he scratched the back of his neck.
"Yeah, I'm always older than the guys I meet, which I hate," I rolled my eyes.
"It's just a few months, not that bad!" He punched my shoulder.
"Ouch!" I nearly yelled.
"Oh my gosh, did I hit you that hard? I'm so sorry!" He came closer to me & rubbed my shoulder.
I started laughing, "I'm kidding Jack, I can take a punch! I grew up with 3 older brothers!"
"You scared me!" He turned bright red.
"I'm really okay, it's good to know you care though," I smiled.
"Well yeah! I don't want to hurt you," he put his hand over mine.
"You didn't hurt me don't worry." I thought it was so cute that he was so concerned.
"Good, so you have 3 older brothers?" He asked.
"Yeah 3 brothers."
"Aww you're the baby in the family," he pinched my cheeks, "what's their names & how old are they?" He asked.
"I'm not a baby!" I laughed, "but their names are Dylan, Caleb, & Brayden. Dylan is 26, Caleb is 24, & Brayden is 21."
"Nice! Your parents seemed like they had everything planned!" He laughed.
"Why?!" I laughed.
"It can't be a coincidence that y'all's names is the alphabet backwards! D is for Dylan, C is for Caleb, B is for Brayden, A is for the beautiful & lovely Ava" He sang that in melody which sounded perfect & he laughed.
I laughed, "Oh yeah! My parents wanted 4 kids & no matter if we ended up being a boy or girl, our name would be the next letter after the first." I laughed.
"That's pretty unique."
"Yeah it actually is." I laughed, "how about you? How old are your sisters?"
"Molly is 22, & Laura is 21."
"Nice! So you were raised with girls & I was raised with boys, so I must be the toughest one from us," I laughed.
"Hey! I'm still strong!" He started flexing his arms & grabbed my hand making me touch his muscles.
I laughed, "I'm just kidding I know you aren't weak."
"Now you know since I let you touch my muscles," he winked at me & laughed.
"Oh calm down!" I shoved him, pushing him off the couch. I bursted out laughing & covered my mouth not wanting to wake anyone up.
"Damn Ava! You are pretty strong!" He laughed, "now help me up!"
He stuck his arm out in the air, "okay okay, I guess I'll help you!" I laughed.
I grabbed his hand & he pulled me down making me fall on top of him.
"Jackkkkkk!" I laughed.
"Avaaaaaa!" He mocked me.
I stuck my tongue out at him.
"Loser, now help me up!" I rolled over & laid on the floor.
"Or we can just lay here." He turned over at me & smiled.
"Or we can do that," I laughed.
"So where were we? Oh, I need to ask you another question," he laughed, "what do you plan on doing, like go to college? Or what?"
"I want to go to college, but I want to take a year off or two & travel the world first."
"With me?" He laughed.
"Yes Gilinsky of course with you!" I said in a sarcastic way.
"Watch you are going to be traveling with me soon, & you'll love it!" He smiled.
"I'm sure I would!" I laughed, "now I get to ask you questions Gilinsky!"
"Ask away! I'm an open book!"
With that I asked so many questions & got to know even more about him besides the basic facts that most people would know. We talked for hours laying there on the floor.
I yawned, "what time is it?!" I turned & asked Jack.
"Damn! It's 3 in the morning!" He looked at me, "you wanna go to sleep?" He asked.
"I actually don't, I feel sleepy but I feel like making something sweet." I laughed.
"Oooo like what?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Like cookies with M&M's, I always start craving food when I stay up!" I laughed.
"Let's make them!" He stood up & reached his hand out.
I grabbed his hand & he helped me up.
"Really?!" I said as I stood up.
"Yeah! Let's go see if she's got the stuff to make them, if not then we'll go to the store." He walked over to the kitchen.
I walked over with him & looked around the kitchen, & their wasn't much, I guess since Ash's parents have been out.
"Looks like we have to make a trip to the store!" I said.
"What's open right now?!" He laughed.
"Walmart as much as I don't like it, it's open 24 hours." I grabbed the keys & tossed them to Jack, "and you are going to be driving."
"Alright! Let's go!"
We got out of the house quietly to not make as much noise. Jack & I looked at each other when we stepped out & dashed out running to the car.
"I won!" I said touching the car.
"Damn! You run fast." He said panting.
"Track helped," I laughed.
"Oh yeah I forgot you told me you did track, soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and softball. You're so freaking athletic!" He laughed as we got in the car.
"Thank you," I laughed.
"We should shoot some hoops sometime." He pulled out of the driveway.
"I'd beat your ass so bad!" I laughed, "so I wouldn't even try" I shrugged laughing.
"Calm down & tell me where this damn Walmart is!" He laughed.
I showed him the way it wasn't a long drive at all.
"Thank you Walmart for pleasing our cravings!" Jack screamed.
"Shut up!" I laughed as we walked towards the store.
"I have a feeling we're going to buy so much more than we are going to need & make more than just cookies," he laughed.
"You know damn well that will happen!" I laughed.
We walked in & raced to the food area, of course I won.
"I will never beat you will I?" He was trying to catch his breath.
"Nope sorry you won't," I laughed & patted his back.
"Let's get the stuff we need now."
I started grabbing things, I love to bake & experiment when I bake. Jack had his arms out & I just stacked him up.
"All of this?!" He laughed.
"Yeah! We are going to make the best cookies in the world!" I nearly screamed & a Walmart worker was passing by & gave me a weird stare as I covered my mouth with both my hands holding back my laugh.
When he left Jack bursted out laughing.
"Shhhhh he's gonna come back," I giggled, "I'm going to go get you a cart Jack," I laughed & ran off to find one.
