Throughout the rest of the week everyone spoiled Jessica.
"Don't get up Jessica, what do you need?" Zach says, "Nothing, I've got it." She says getting out of her chair.
Zach motions for her to stay seated and says, "No let me."
"Zach, I have to pee."
"Oh! Well that you can do yourself!" His face turns red and he steps aside.
"Hah! Thanks honey!" She smiles and pats his arm.
On the walk to the bathroom she passes Lily, "Hey Jess, are you feeling okay?"
"I feel fine." She smiles.
"Are you hungry? I'm not doing anything, I can go grab you something."
"No I'm fine, thanks. I just have to pee." She chuckles.
"Oh, well then go!" Lily laughs.
"Im trying!" She giggles.
Right before she turns into the bathroom, Sarah stops her, "JESS!"
"What?" She turns to her and sounds a little irritated.
"Ooh! You mad?"
"No, I am not mad, I am not hungry and I am not sick, I. HAVE. TO. PEE!"
Sarah stays silent for a while with a scared look on her face.

"I was wondering if you guys wanted to come over for dinner tonight?"
"Of course Sarah." She smiles then says, "Now if you excuse me, my baby is right on my bladder so I'm gonna pee now if that's okay?" She says in a strangely calm voice.
"Yeah go ahead." Sarah says in a scared voice.

They're back at Jessica's house in Nola.
Jessica's asleep on her back with one hand resting on her stomach.

He puts both of his knees on either side of her and leans forward on his elbows.
He kisses her stomach right below her belly button and whispers, "Good morning, daddy's little pumpkin!" Into the kiss.
Jessica moves a little in her sleep and Evan says, "I think Mommy's about to wake up!" He rubs her stomach and Jessica takes a deep breath while making cute little noises in her sleep.
"Your Mommy's so cute." He says and she starts to wake up, "Mmm..." She moans as she stretches her legs and arms out.
She looks down and sees Evan on top of her just smiling up at her.
She giggles and says, "What are you doing?"
"I'm talking to the baby! You know, getting some father/child bonding in. They say you should talk to the baby so they become familiar with your voice, talk to him Jessica!"
"Hah! Evan, we've gotten pretty acquainted already!"
"That's true.. You know what we need do is, to start reading him stories before bedtime."
"That's cute.. Him?" She laughs.
"Well I have a strong feeling that it's gonna be a boy, you know that I would absolutely love a girl too but I don't know babe.. I'm thinking boy."
"Haha! And if it's a girl she's probably thinking, Mommy why does daddy keep calling me a boy?!" Jessica says in a baby voice then giggles.
Evan laughs and says, "Well we'll know in three weeks!"
"Three weeks! Ah I'm so excited!" Jessica smiles and does a little shimmy in her bed.
"Or do you want to wait until their born?"
"Oh god, I don't know if I could!" Jessica laughs.
"Yeah that would be so hard!"
Evan climbs up and kisses her on her lips.

Jessica breaks the kiss and says, "Well good morning!" Then giggles while still out of breath.
"It's a very good morning!" Evan says in a sexy voice.
"What time is it?" She asks still on him.
"9:30"
"Okay... I have two and a half hours."
"For what?"
"Chris and I have to meet Sam for lunch today, remember?"
"Is that today?" He asks in a sad tone.
"Yes." She pouts.
"Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?"
"I'm positive."
"As positive as your pregnancy test?" He smiles.
"Haha! Yes, you dork!" She pinches his nose.
"I just think it'd be best if we went alone, I'll explain everything to him but I just don't want you to be stuck in the middle of it."
"Well babe, we're together now so I think I'll always be in the middle of it.. Besides I'm afraid at how he'll react to the baby."
"Don't worry.. It'll be fine." She rubs his chest.
"Okay." He says puckering his lips.
"Okay!" She mimics him, giggles then kisses his lips.
After they shower and eat breakfast Jessica tries to find clothes that will hide her stomach.
"I don't have anything to wear, Evan!"
"You look great in everything, babe!"
"Thanks, but I need to find something that will hide my belly." She turns to the side and runs her hands down her stomach, cupping the bottom and looking into her full length mirror.
"It's growing, babe!" He smiles.
"I know, it's crazy!" She looks down and smiles.
He stands up and walks over to her, he rubs her stomach then gives her a soft kiss.
They both smile when they break the kiss, he turns to the side and looks into her closet, "How about this?" He holds up a long and flowy shirt.
"That's perfect, babe!" She grabs it.
"I'll help!" He smiles and quickly takes her top off.
Jessica laughs and let's him do whatever he wants.

"Alright Chris, remember not to tell your dad about Evan and don't mention anything about the baby.. AT ALL! Do you hear me?" She grabs his chin to face her and looks deep into his eyes.
"Yes ma'am." He looks at her with big eyes.
"Alright... You okay?"
"Yeah.. I'm just nervous that's all."
"Me too.. I feel like I have butterflies.. No not butterflies, that's if you're excited.. Bats! I feel like I have bats in my stomach!" She puts her hand over her stomach and and makes a sick face.
"Haha, no that's just a child!" Christopher laughs and puts his hand on his moms stomach.
"Haha, you're right!" She laughs.
"This is the first time I've touched your stomach and it feel like there's something in there."
"Yeah, it feels like a little potato, doesn't it?" She laughs.
"Hah! It does!"
They arrive at the restaurant before Sam and are seated at a booth in the back.
"He's here.." Christopher says.
Jessica takes a deep breath then slowly looks over her shoulder and sees him walking over to the table.
"Christopher!" Sam smiles and hugs him.
"How have you been, son?"
"Good, you?"
"I'm doing a lot better, Chris."
He turns to Jessica and smiles, "Hello Jessica. You look beautiful." He softly says.
"Thanks Sam."
As Sam talks to her he notices that her face looks a bit chubbier but doesn't think much of it.
He first talks about how much rehab had helped him.
"Well that's amazing, Sam. I'm really happy for you."
"I just wish I could have gone sooner... Maybe it.. Maybe I wouldn't have been such an asshole to you."
"Yeah well.. You can't change the past." Jessica sighs.
"I know but you can change the future... Jessica I want to give us another chance.. I want to be the husband that you've always deserved.. The father that Chris needs. We're still young.. We can have that little girl you've always wanted... Chris would be a great big brother."
Chris looks at Jessica and gives her an, "Oh fuck!" Look.
"Hah! When I was pregnant the thought of having a girl made you furious! It's too late Sam."
"I'm not like that anymore, and it's never too late to be a family."
"Weeeell..." Chris says as Jessica interrupts him, "Chris stop!" She gives him a hard look.
"Sam, I can't..."
"Yes you can, Jessie."
"No Sam! Listen, I have to tell you something. I've met someone."

"Yeah.."
"Is it serious?"
"Oh I'd say it's pretty serious!" She chuckles and looks down.
"Well who is it?"
"It's Evan."
"Evan? That kid you work with? The one you're always hanging out with?"
"Yes the one I work with and no, he's not a kid."
"Jessica this is crazy, you're gonna throw us away for some guy you just met?"
"Hold up! I didn't throw away our marriage, you did!" She points at him and he can see the anger building up in her eyes.
"And he loves me.. He treats me better then you ever did. I was blind for so long and I didn't think I could ever love like this again. I did love you Sam but that's in the past.. I can't and I won't ever forget the things you did to me."
Sam stays quiet and a tear falls, "I screwed up..." He sighs then look down at Chris and rubs his shoulder, "Big time... Losing you will be my biggest regret in my life... The way I treated you was criminal and I apologize to you from the very bottom of my heart. I'm sorry Jessica." He says as more tears start to fall.
Jessica wipes a single tear from her face and says, "I forgive you, Sam." She grabs his hand.
He kisses her hand then puts his other hand over hers.
"Thank you. I hope... I hope you two... I hope he treats you right."
"He does, Sam.. He's amazing." She looks off and cries a single tear of happiness.
Chris goes to the restroom and Sam and Jessica wait for him outside in the front.
"Jess, do you think we could maybe somehow be friends?"
"Yeah.. I mean not close friends, but we can be civil!" She laughs.
"That's good enough for me.." He hugs her then looks down and leans in to kiss her lips.
"Sam!" She pushes him off.
"Friends don't kiss each other on the lips!" She wipes her mouth.
"I'm sorry but Jessica please, just one more time! No one has to know!" He grabs her arm.
"Get the fuck away from me, Sam!" She backs away and lifts her hand like she's about to slap him.
"Jessica.."
"Ugh!" She rolls her eyes and he says, "I'm sorry, okay? Oh and since we're friends now, I can say this... Jessica you've gained weight, in your face and everything."
As he says that Christopher comes out.
"Yeah I have, you know why? Because I'm pregnant!" She says looking him straight in the eyes then grabs Christopher and walks off.
"You're what?!" He asks shocked.
She turns around and yells, "Pregnant! I'm pregnant, Sam.. With Evans baby." She smiles and lifts her shirt so that he sees her bump, then continues walking to her car.
"And he doesn't care if it's a girl or a boy! He doesn't hit me, he doesn't cheat on me, he's perfect, Sam!"
"Jessica!" He calls her.
She gets in the car and drives by him, "And here's for calling me fat!" She flips him off as she drives by and says, "Fuck you, Sam!"
