You were at a desk in sickbay with your P.A.D.D. & started to do your medical paperwork when all of a sudden a alarm blared thru out the ship. Men limped in the doorway & next thing you know, you were rushing around in the sickbay giving the doctors, who were treating patients, with all different kinds of medicines.
It was a busy morning because there was a small explosion in engineering. Only 7 men were badly hurt who needed treating. Only enough for sickbay to be busy, but thankfully not enough for drastic measures.
After you were done running around sickbay, you went back over to the medical desk & started back on your paperwork. You finished it right before it was lunch time.
You shut off your P.A.D.D, re-did your Y/H/C hair in a high pony, & walk out the door to the mess hall. Once you got there, you got your food from the food replicators, & looked for a table to sit at.
"Y/N! Over here!" you heard someone call out to you. You turn your head around & saw Y/F/N & Christine Chapel waving you over at their table. You smile as you walk over there."Hi! How's it been Y/N?" F/N asks you. "Oh I'm fine, all though we had a crazy rush in sickbay." you tell her.
"Golly! What happened?" F/N asks both of you with a worried face. She was in a away mission when it happened. You & Christine take turns telling it to her, when then you feel a strong hand on your shoulder & a voice says to you. "Hey there little sister!"
You sigh & response as you turn to him, "Hello big brother." "Hi Captain Kirk!"F/N exclaims to him with a big smile on her face. She had a crush on him since he saved her on the away mission.
Yes, you are James T. Kirk's sister. You have Y/E/C eyes, Y/H/C hair but you both have the same flirty & some time stubborn attitudes. "Don't I get a hello?" a southern voice asked from the table across of your's.
"Hahaha, hello Bones!" you tell him as you look at him with a smile. He smiles back, but then frowns. You were about to ask what was wrong, but then he got up & storms off in the direction of Jim. Who was at the food replicators flirting to a red haired Yeoman.
"D*** it Jim! It's lunch time! You can flirt another time!" Bones shout whispers to him as he drags him back to the table, leaving the Yeoman laughing.
You & the others at your table laugh as you shake your head & giggle. But then a tall, dark haired man walks in & you stop giggling & not meaning to, stare a him. It was Commander Spock.
There was something about him that made you block out the rest of the world. You stared at him as got his food, that was a salad & a glass of water & walked over to where your brother & Bones where sitting. You've been on the ship as long as he has & you never did this before, or notice it.
"Oh & then- Hey Y/N! Are you listening?" Christine says as she waves her hand up & down in front of your face. You snap out of the trance you were in & looked at her & said, "Uh? Oh yes, go on about it." You tell her as you take a bite out of your F/S sandwich. She stares at you puzzled then slowly goes back telling her story.
F/N notices to about you your behavior & looks where you were looking, but luckily someone walked in front of her & blocked her view as he sat down in front of Spock. You sigh in relief, but you don't know why. You listen to Christine's story as you finish your sandwich.
Then it was time to go back to work & you & Christine parted ways with F/N, as you walked down the halls. Bones joined you both in the hallway on the way to sickbay.
Once you entered in, Bones went to fill out the medical report, Christine walked over to a patient who seemed to be having trouble to get situated on the medical bed because of his cast on his arm. You went to your paperwork that you did that morning on your P.A.D.D. & filed it & sent it to Bones.
"Y/N, can ya come over here for a moment?" Bones ask you with a medical P.A.D.D in his hands. "Sure Bones." you answer him as you walk over to him. "I need ya to go up on the bridge & have Jim sign this." he tells you as he hands the medical report over to you.
"No problem!" you tell him as you start your way to the door. "Oh, & Y/N." Bones calls out to you before you get out the door. "Yes?" you ask him as you turn around. "Make sure to tell Spock that it's time for his yearly check-up." he tells you as he goes back to work. "Okay then!" you say as you go.
( A SHORT WHILE LATER )
You exited out of the turbo lift off from the bridge with a signed medical report in your hands. You asked Jim were Spock would be because he wasn't at his station, he said that he was on his way to engineering to see how bad the damage was after some repairs.
You looked around to see if he was still in the hallway to engineering as you walked down it. You saw him looking down at his P.A.D.D. as he exited the turbo lift from engineering. Again you seemed to block out the rest of the world & stare at him. But as soon as he looked up at you, you quickly snapped out of it & walked towards him.
"Greetings Nurse Y/L/N." he says to you. "Hello Commander Spock." you reply to him with a smile. "Are you in the need of something?" he ask you. "Uh, Bo- Dr. McCoy wants me to tell you that he wants you in sickbay for the yearly check-up." you tell him quite fast.
He stares at you like you were staring at him at lunch & after staring at you for awhile he says, "Thank you Y/N, I shall go there once I am finished.""Okay then, I'll see you then." you say to him as you start leave. "Y/N." he calls. "Yes Commander?" you ask him as you walk back to him.
"Before you go, would you come with me for a moment?" he ask you as he looks around. "Uh, alright." you tell him as he walks & you walk beside him. He goes into a room that's empty & turns to you. You follow & stand in front of him confused.
"What's this for Commander?" you ask him puzzled. "I have been meaning to see if a certain experiment would work." he tells you calmly. "Did it?" you ask him, thinking bringing you here was it. "I shall see." he answers as he raises his pointer & middle finger up together & ask you to do the same. You do, unsure of what was happening.
He presses them together gently & holds them there. You look into his soft brown eyes, he looks into yours. The tip of his pointed ears turn a light shade of green. You realize that his blushing! You have no idea what he's doing, but blush also.
He holds it for a bit more then drops his fingers. You drop yours with his as he tells you,"Thank you Y/N, it was a successful experiment." then he walks out the door to sickbay, leaving you bewildered. Then, in comes Jim! You whip around & stare at him when he says, "Aw, that was real cute seeing you & Spock finally kissed." "W-w-what do you m-mean? " you stammer.
"Is that what it was?" you ask him. "Yep." he says smirking as he leaves. You look down at your fingers. Could you be falling for him? You wondered as you walked out of the room.
( A FEW DAYS LATER)
You're the only one in sickbay & you see Spock in the hall walking, looking at his P.A.D.D. You grab his arm, surprising him & drag him in sickbay. You look up at him, & he looks at you with an eyebrow raised. "Yes Y/N?" he ask you. "Spock, why did you do that 'experiment'?" you ask him.
"Because Y/N, it would seem that ever since I met you I felt I could not stop thinking about you," he explains. You were listening so he went on. "I went to the Captain, since he is a close relative to you, & told him about it. He told me that I should do what my heart thinks. I did not understand at first until he explained." then he tells you, "And that is why Y/N, I did it. Because I have feelings for you."
You look at him & then say with a sly smile, "Spock, I also have an experiment I want to try." But before he could answer back, you wrap your arms around his neck & kiss him on the lips with passion. He wraps his arms around your waist & kisses back with emotion & passion. Very unlike him.
You now knew what you were feeling before. It was love for this pointed-eared Vulcan! You loved him, & he loved you. You were glad no one else was in there. Behind the door was Jim & Bones listening thru the wall. They heard everything, except for the kissing, for them it went silent.
"Well Jim, it looks like your sister is in love with that hobgoblin & he's in love with her." Bones says to him as they start to walk. "Yep, so it does Bones, so it does." he answers back as they walk away.
Back to you & Spock. You both were still kissing & but broke for him to only say, "I love you Y/N."
