"Pops, I'm going to go hang out with Ethan and Lilly," I say, as I grab a bagel and my handbag. My pops, Volga was sitting on the couch watching The Walking Dead.
"Alright. Be back by 11 pm," he says. I go over to him and kiss his cheek.
"We'll see." I grab my black leather jacket and my car keys, then I put my feet into my black leather ankle boots. I roll the bottom of my black skinny jeans lower to hide any showing skin.
I adjust my black belt that is right above my waist. I put on my leather jacket and then place the keys in my pocket. I was in a quick motion, so I did everything quickly. I stalk over to the door, reaching for the doorknob. My right hand made its way to the doorknob. I was about to open it until my dad interrupted me.
"We'll see!?" he shrieks.
"I'm kidding." I laugh, pulling my hair to the side as I open the door. "Bye! I love you!"
I step out and shut the door. With my werewolf senses, I hear him say, "I love you, too."
I smile and start walking to my white 2009 rav4. I unlock my car and hop in, tossing my handbag to the seat on the right of me. I insert the key into the ignition.
"Here we go!" I sing as I drive out of the parkway. Now, as I am driving, I somehow start to reminisce about my life.
I'm living my perfect life as Avalon Brice who is named after Volga Brice. People call him Volg for short. He's really sweet and he's a werewolf. I am too, unfortunately. I shifted when I was sixteen. Sadly, I couldn't find my mate though, but I cannot wait to actually find my mate. I've waited already 2 years.
Yes, I'm twenty. I've changed a lot ever since I was a baby. Pops used to say I had really blue eyes, but now they're like a brown hazel color. I find it quite weird. But I guess it's just a normal werewolf thing, I mean it did change when I shifted.
Another weird thing is, I don't look like my dad. Our neighbors would usually say I look really familiar. I remember exactly what they had said.

"Oh my, you look so much like Alpha Xavier Black's daughter. Except you have brown eyes," an old lady said to me while I was looking at the grocery food.
"Yes, you look very familiar. Have you heard of a name, Luna Stella Whites?" the old man beside her says.
Daddy would interrupt them.
"No, my daughter, Avalon hasn't heard of such a thing. She looks exactly like her mother. Her mother died.."
I saw a glint of sadness in his eyes. He looked at me and I nodded.
"Yes, of course. It was terrible. I miss my mother dearly. I'm the one and only Avalon. But, I think you've mistaken me for someone else." I smiled sweetly at them.
They nodded and walked away.

I blink my eyes multiple times as that memory comes back. Now that I think about it...
Was my father acting?
Was he just pretending?
What really happened to my mother?
So many questions ran through my head, I had almost crashed my car into another. I instantly step on the break.
"SHIT!" I screech as my head flies forward. My car had almost crashed into a black Mercedes. The door to the driver's seat opens. I gulp and place my hand on the driver's seat door opener.
This guy that looks like he was around my age but younger, stalks over to my car. He stops right in front of my door. He knocks on the window.
I open it and put on my most innocent face ever. I stand tall and my black ankle boots hit the rocky cement road.
"Yes?" I ask innocently.
"Don't give me that goody, goody crap. You almost hit my car!" his voice booms and I, of course, am not shaken at all. By sensing his aura, I noticed he had Alpha Blood. I look him straight in the eye.
"You're funny if you think it was my fault! You should've paid attention to what you're doing, idiot! I don't give a crap about your stupid ca-" I stop talking and continue staring straight into his eyes. He had brown eyes just like me and looked very familiar.
When I stared into his eyes, I felt this thing enlighten in me. It was like there was this bond between us.
"Raine, who is this?" I ask my inner wolf.
"I don't know. But I am dying to find out."
I block her out, and by the time I block her out, I feel myself being dragged.
