Skylar's Pov:

I've felt regret before and it's a feeling that sets in the pit of your stomach constantly eating away at you. However, not once did I feel regret as I walked down the hall that led back to the dining room.

I didn't know how Alex would react to it yet, I did in fact know how her body would. Unlike humans, when we see something we didn't want to see happen before our eyes there's a second of sorrow where our body pumps blood and since it doesn't have anywhere to go, it leaves through our noses or we cough it up.

As I slowly made my way to the dining room, I tried to control my nerves. I didn't want Alex to see the affect she has on me.

If it wasn't for the fact I was taking my time to get to where I wanted to go, I would have already been in front of Alex, however, I took my time.

Yet there wasn't enough time in the world to prolong the inevitable so with caution, I slowly walk inside the kitchen than into the dining room.

Immediately, I watched as Alex looked up, searching around the room until her eyes landed on me. She frown and I watched as she started to sniff the air. She didn't seem to understand why I smell differently. Alex continued to sniff the air and it wasn't long before she grabbed a napkin to clean her nose thinking it was her.

By now, Lucas noticed that Alex wasn't paying attention to their conversation and looked up at her. Taylor was no where in sight leaving me to wonder if he went back to his room to give Alex and Lucas some space to discuss whatever they needed to talk about.

Walking over to the table, I decided to go back to eating my food since I didn't have time to finish it.

"Alex you got a little um.." Lucas said as he pointed to his upper lip.

Frowning, Alex once again clean her face with the napkin. This time, she looked at it.

"What the.." Alex said before looking up and staring at me.

Once again she sniffed the air.

"What's wrong?" I heard Lucas whisper to Alex.

I decided to play innocent and I continued to eat my breakfast.

"Enjoying your food?" Alex said in a sternly voice.

Looking up, I raised one of my eyebrow and shrugged my shoulders.

"The eggs are cooked extremely well." I said as I went back to eating my food.

"And how about my sloppy seconds?" Alex said.

Glancing over to her, I noticed that her jaw was clench and she was trying to un-ball her fist.

"I don't know, how's the nose bleeding?"

Smirking, I watched Alex stand up from the table and throw her napkin on it.

"If you'll excuse me, I have errands to attend to." Alex said.

Without a second glance to either Lucas or I, Alex simply turned on her heels and left.

It wasn't until I heard someone sighing that I realized I was staring at Alex as she left the room.

"You're killing her, you know that?"

Turning my head, I watched as Lucas stood up to go follow Alex, however, before he left the room he turned to look at me.

"If this is your way of getting her back, trust me, you'll need to reconstructs a new plan."

Swallowing the lump that started to form in my throat, I watched as Lucas exited the dining room.

Sighing, I rubbed my eyes and decided to follow suit in leaving the room.

There wasn't much for me to do today so I figured the best thing for me to do is exercise since it always helped clear my mind.

Quickly going to my room I changed into my flying suit and put my hair up into a pony tail. Taking a glance in my mirror I couldn't help but to admire my suit. It was of course all black however, whenever I flew, the suit would pick up on my energy and you could see patterns of light blue throughout it. It also had padding just incase I were to fall, I wouldn't get injury. It was a present I received when I finally turned 18 this year and my mother wanted to make sure if I did in fact go back into the world I would be safe. She explained to me what my duties were as a bless angel but in order for me to follow through with them I had to gain more skills in the department of flying.

Looking at myself in the mirror once more, I smiled before heading out. It didn't take long before I reach the front door of the palace. If my parents were home, I would have yelled out that I was leaving and hope one of the maids or serves would deliver the message to them. This time though, I didn't since they weren't here.

Not wanting to ruin my moment with the thought of my parents not being home, I opened the front door and headed out to the city here in Heaven.
When Alex used to train me, we used to go to the backyard and work on my skills there. Yet, ever since I found out who I was, training was the furthest thing on Alex's mind. Now, whenever I wanted to get training, I had to go into the city and go to my new trainer.

His name is Benjamin and he's a great trainer. The first time I met him through, I didn't want anything to do with him because he eyes are indeed brown. Not saying anything bad about a descendent but I personally didn't want to be train by one in case they figured out they want to be a fallen angel. However, my mother persuaded me into it.

Other than his brown eyes there wasn't much else that distinguish him from the other angels.

The walk to the city wasn't to long and before I knew it I was walking the ground of the white crystal streets. Many stopped to stare at me and others greeted me from a far.

Whenever I came to get training with Benjamin I always walk instead of flying because it always gave me the opposite to greet other angels. I knew many of the younger angels looked up at me because I was the only bless angel in Heaven. The others were in Earth doing their duties. They looked to me as if I was royalty since I come from a bloodline of the first angels.

To put it in simply words, I was like the Queen of England to this people just like Lucas and of course the one and only Alex.

Smiling and waving at the other angels, I walked the remaining mile and a half to where Benjamin held his training.

It was a field outside the border line of the city and it had a lot of open space so we could fly around. There were also other field equipment that Benjamin owned and he displayed them all over the open field.

Building after building, many people came out to greet me like they always do everyday. The smiles on they faces always brighten up my day.

As I continued to walk it wasn't long before I could hear Benjamin's voice booming throughout the air. Smirking, I decided to use my speed space to see who he was picking on now.

As soon as I got there, I slowed down my pace and watched in amusement as he picked up a boy and shake him in the air by his suit.

"Where in the world did you get that!" Benjamin said as he looked at the boy in his eyes.

Smirking, he opened his mouth to speak.

"Earth."

"And why did you use it here?" Benjamin asked trying not to lose his temper.

"Because." The boy simply stated.

Dropping the boy, Benjamin simply sigh.

"Garnet go run 5 laps." Benjamin said as he gestured to the starting line with his finger.

Frowning the boy simply stood up and did as he was told.

Garnet sure was something. He is the son of a seven deadly sin with a bless angel as a father. Benjamin told me the reason he was named Garnet was because his mother was name after a stone and also because his hair is ginger like. I never got to meet his mother or his father because they are down in Earth. Garnet would come to training in the morning and than leave in the afternoon with a supervisor. However, he only comes on weekends now because he started second grade.

Walking over to Benjamin I couldn't help but to voice my question.

"What did he do now?"

Looking over his shoulder, he waited until I was next to him to speak.

"Garnet thought it would be funny to bring a cherry bomb and throw it at someone."

Raising one of my eyebrow, I waited until he explained what that was.

"It's like a firework that's goes boom. It's also illegal cause it can do that."

Turning to look at where he was pointing at, I noticed a pretty big hole on the ground. It wasn't to deep but it was noticeable nevertheless.

"Led it with his heat power and then threw it. Thank goodness the kid noticed it and got out the way, it could have hurt him."

Nodding my head, I watched as he walked over to hole and shook his head.

"Any whose..." Benjamin said as he looked back up at me.

Looking around, I noticed there was only a few people today so I knew exactly what he was thinking of doing.

"Mia! Come over, everyone else, off the field expect you Garnet, you better keep running." Ben said as he pointed at Garnet.

Garnet simply laughed. He was one feisty 8 year old.

Walking over to me was Mia, a 5'7 girl who had her long black hair up in a pony tail. I never really talked to Mia before because she was way to focus on her training to give anyone but Ben the time of day.

Standing in front of me, I watched as a smirk appeared on her face.

"Sky this is Mia and Mia this is Sky. You two will go up against one another and the winner will move on until we have a winner for the girls and for the boys. When I blow the whistle go and if you hear it for a second time it means to stop. No dirty shoots and do not use the audiences as bait. Whoever gets the first one in a death position wins. Now, go to your corners." Ben said as he walked away from the hole and over to the boarder line of the field.

As he passed by me, I grabbed his arm.

"I haven't even stretched yet."

Shrugging his shoulder he simply told me not to die before walking away.

Wanting a second look at Mia, I turned my head, however, as soon as I did, she was no where to be found.

Great.

I didn't have much time after that before Ben blew his whistle and at the moment I wanted to turn around and slap him.

The point of this "game" was to see who was on top and who was on the bottom of the charts. I only ever played it once and that was when I first got here. The other games I always sat out because Ben didn't want to get in trouble with over working a royal blood.

I have no idea why I was playing in it now but a part of me thought Alex was behind this.

Clearing my head of all this thoughts, I decided to focus on the game since I didn't want to get hurt. Mia wasn't one of the best girls here but she was the only one present at the time. The other girls would be arriving and Ben always likes to start early so people didn't have to wait for their turn to go against someone.

Slowly walking around, I decided to go against flying and just stick to the ground. An air attack could hurt me more if Mia hit one of my wings.

To caught up with my battle plan, I didn't notice the wind picking up until I felt something hit my leg. I immediately fell.

Turning around to lay on my back, I instantly got up and stay low.

Once again, I felt the air pick up and this time I used my super speed to try and dodge it however, this didn't work to my benefit.

Mia was able to see this coming and I knew exactly how. She was one of those angels who could see seconds before the future yet she saw all the possible action I would take. Mia had to pick what I would do and follow suit.

It was a skill extremely hard to master but easy to conquer with people who lacked skill. Me being me, I lack the skill of being unpredictable. I had only a few skills I had mastered so it was no surprise my super speed was one I used a lot.

It was either that or she just knew my next move.

Rolling of my back and quickly getting up, I was able to pick up dirty and throw it in the air. A huge cloud of duty came up in the air as I used my super speed to kick dirty up. Once the cloud was high enough, I stopped running and pushed up, allowing my wings to come out. Flying wasn't a skill I had master just yet but I wasn't going to stay on the ground.

Quickly scanning the air, I saw Mia looking down at the ground and I took this opportunity to advance at her. However, as if she could sensitive me, she was able to turn side ways and drop down into the cloud dust.

"Mother..." I thought to myself as I followed her.

Holding my arms in front my face, I heard a voice call out to me.

"Don't follow, you become the prey."

Stopping in my trace, I looked around to see who was giving me advice until I was tackled.

"Drop, gravity is your best friend."

Doing what the voice said, I tugged my wings back and automatically noticed Mia and I gaining speed.

Not liking this, I felt Mia pushed against me.

"Turn, and run."

Quickly turning around so I was facing down, I noticed I was inches from the ground. Deciding to just listen to the voice, I used my super speed.

Not knowing how this was going to work, my questions was soon answered when my feet hit the ground and I was able to roll on the ground. The impact hurt but luckily, I didn't have my wings out. That can have cause harm to my spin and wings.

I already knew that I would have scratches all over my face and bruises on my arms.

I was not enjoying this at all.

Before I had time to get up, I saw Mia out of the corner of my eyes.

This just didn't end.

"Get up and get ready to grab."

Groaning, I did as I was told and got ready for whatever Mia was going to throw my way.

However, for some odd reason, this time, I was able to predict where she was going from and grabbed her.

Shock that I was able to catch her, she pushed me and ended up tripping.

My eyes opened up widely and I immediately threw myself on top of her, hand on her heart.

As soon as I did this, I heard a whistle go off again.

Thank goodness.

Rolling of Mia, I watched as Mia quickly got up.

"No fair! I didn't take in account that stupid hole ginger made!"

"All is fair in love and war. Next up, Francisco and Nicholas!"

Sighing, I couldn't help but to smile and thank whatever voice help me with this round. For some odd reason I didn't know whether the voice was in my head or not but I didn't question it since no one else seemed to notice it.

Turning my head, my smile only got bigger.

"Thank you cherry bomb."
