للَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

Allāhumma a'innī 'alā zikrika wa syukrika wa husni 'ibādatik

O Allah, help me to remember You, expressing gratitude towards You, and to worship You in the best manner.

(Sunan Abi Daud)

They were standing by the riverbank where it met the sea. It was a stunning location, with no one else around except for them. The rush of the river was intense, and so was the vastness of the sea. It was so powerful that anything that fell in would be lost forever. As if the river itself had a secret to reveal. It was early morning, and both of them had smiles on their faces, as if they were the only two people in the whole world, feeling each other's peaceful presence after a long time of separation.

The place was adorned with lush greenery, colorful flowers, and the sound of birds chirping added to the serene atmosphere. The sun was just starting to rise, casting a golden glow on the water, making it sparkle like diamonds. The air was filled with a refreshing breeze, carrying the scent of the ocean and filling their lungs with pure bliss. It was a truly magical place, where nature's beauty intertwined with their love and created a moment that would forever be etched in their hearts.

"Waada karne wale toh bas wada kar dete hai, aur jab nibhane ka waqt aata hai toh mukar jaya karte hai." She told him while their hands intertwined and the intense gaze of his.

("Those who make promises just do so and when the time to fulfil comes, they go back on their promises.")

"Yakeen maano, apni zubaan ka pakka hun." He assured her whilst placing her hair strands behind her ear, still maintaining the eye contact.

("Believe me, I am true to my words.")

"Achha ji!" She lightly pushed him back and ran away, causing him to loose balance but somhow he balanced himself.

("Okay, good!!")

"Tumhe toh mein chhoduga nahi." He rans after her.

("I will not leave you.")

"Pehle pakad toh le." Giggling,  she started to run quick.

("Get hold of it first.)

The girl, entranced by the river's hypnotic allure, took a step closer to its edge. Suddenly, an unseen force tugged at her, pulling her into the depths of the mysterious waters. It was as if the river itself had cast a spell, luring her into its enigmatic embrace.

The guy, bewildered by the inexplicable event, desperately reached out to save her, but the powerful current thwarted his valiant efforts. While running with the flow of water, he again lunged forward in a valiant attempt to save her.

In a surreal twist, the guy filled with a mix of shock and determination, fought against the relentless force of the river, trying desperately to rescue her, and she disappeared beneath the surface, leaving him in a state of disbelief.

However, the river, in its relentless power, refused to release its hold, consuming her in its enigmatic depths.

The ocean, witnessing this enigmatic event, held its secrets close. The ocean, bearing witness to this mysterious occurrence, whispered ancient secrets that only the waves could comprehend.

As she awakened abruptly from her slumber, her heart raced and perspiration trickled down her brows  and hands. Confusion gripped her as she tried to comprehend the sudden awakening.

With a swift glance at the clock, she realized it was the sacred hour of Tahajjud. Determined, she swiftly rose from the sofa, hastened to the washroom, and meticulously performed ablution.

The cool water refreshed her senses and prepared her for the sacred act of prayer. The sound of flowing water mingled with the tranquility of the pre-dawn hour, creating a serene ambiance. With each step, she felt a sense of purpose and devotion, ready to embark on a spiritual journey under the cover of darkness.

"Ya Allah, mere gunahon ko maaf farma. Mujhe aane wale gunahon se bachne ki taqat ata farmaye aur mujhe nek rah par chalaye. Ya Allah, mujhe sahi ilm, samajh aur hidayat ata farma. Mera dil aur dimagh roshan kar, taaki main sahi faisle aur aane wali mushkilon ka samna kar sakun. Ya Rabb, har tarah ke mushkilat, zahir o batin se hamari hifazat farma. Hame  takleefon, imtehanon aur fitnon se bacha. Hame sabr aur istiqamat ata farma." She offered prayer to bring some kind of ease in her heart and what a beautiful concept indeed, she started feeling the peace as if completely drugged through the power of sujood.

("O Allah, forgive me for my past mistakes and shortcomings. Grant me the strength to avoid future sins and guide me on the path of righteousness. O Allah, bless me with beneficial knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Illuminate my heart and mind so that I may make the right decisions and choices in life. O Allah, protect us from all forms of harm, both seen and unseen. Shield us from difficulties, trials, and temptations. Grant us the strength to face challenges with patience and perseverance.")

After performing Tahajjud prayer, placing the musal'lah on its righteous place, quitely made her way in the direction of kitchen to get some water.

As she entered, her footsteps barely making a sound on the tiled floor. She noticed a figure already present in the dimly lit room. It's him. Standing near the sink, his back turned towards her, washing dishes with a cold and distant expression.

The soft glow of the moonlight streaming through the window illuminated his silhouette, creating a serene atmosphere. She couldn't help but smile at the sight of him, feeling a sense of comfort and love. But soon she realized he is forbidden for her.

The air feels tense, as if it's filled with unspoken resentment. As she approaches besides the sink to get water, there's an uncomfortable silence between them. The clinking of dishes being washed becomes the only sound in the room, punctuating the awkwardness of their interaction.

His demeanor is cold and distant, barely acknowledging her presence. Her eyes avoid meeting his, as if intentionally avoiding any connection or conversation. On the other hand, he carries an air of weariness, her body language guarded and closed off.

When the girl reaches for the water, her hand brushes against his, causing a momentary pause. Their eyes briefly meet, revealing a mix of frustration, hurt, and longing. It's a fleeting glimpse into the complex emotions that underlie their cold and rude relationship. It's as if a wall has been erected, keeping them apart emotionally.

The lack of warmth and affection is palpable, overshadowed by the tension and unresolved issues that hang heavy in the air.

In this cold relationship , the distance between them is a stark reminder of the pain and disconnect they are experiencing. It's a reminder that relationships require effort, communication, and a willingness to address the underlying issues in order to thaw the icy barriers that have formed.

"Aap ne tahajjud nahi padhi?" She asked breaking the invisible barriers between them.

("You didn't performed Tahajjud?")

"Nahi, mujhe pasand nahi"

("No, I don't like")

"Na pasand hone ki wajah?"

("Reason for not liking it?")

"Duayein maangi qubool nahi hui, mein uske samne itna roya itna gidgidaya, usne meri ek na suni, usne mujhe tabah kardiya, uski wajah se mein barbaad hu aaj. Usne mujhse har woh chiz chin li jiska mein haqdaar tha." Saying this he left.

("My prayers were not accepted, I cried so much and pleaded so much in front of him, he did not The room feels suffocating as he grapples with his conflicting emotions. He feels a mix of anger, sadness, and a deep sense of losslisten to me at all, he destroyed me then, because of him I am ruined today. He took away from me everything that I had the right to.")

The room feels suffocating as he grapples with his conflicting emotions. He feels a mix of anger, sadness, and a deep sense of loss

He finds himself in a state of deep despair and confusion. He had poured his heart and soul into hid prayers, expecting a positive outcome, only to be met with disappointment. Doubts start to creep into his mind, and he question why Allah did not grant his request.

****

As he sit alone in a quiet room, hid emotions become overwhelming. Tears stream down his face as they wrestle with his faith, feeling abandoned and betrayed. He begin to question his own worthiness, wondering if he had done something wrong or if his prayers were not sincere enough.

He cry out, asking Allah why he were not deserving of Chanda's presence in his life. It feels like his world has shattered, and he is left feeling lost and broken.

In this moment of disbelief, his faith is put to the ultimate test. He must confront his doubts and find a way to reconcile his feelings with his belief in Allah's plan. It is a pivotal moment in his journey, one that will shape his character and his relationship with his faith.

As she knocked on the door with two cups of tea in her hands, she eagerly awaited a response, hoping to find him on the other side. However, there was no answer. Concerned, she knocked on the door two more times, growing increasingly worried with each unanswered attempt. With a mix of curiosity and apprehension, she decided to enter the room.

Upon entering, her eyes were immediately drawn to a large canvas that was covered, piquing her curiosity even further. The room itself had a balanced size, not too small nor too big, with a desk in one corner that held a computer. In another corner, a small bed provided a place for rest and contemplation.

Her focus shifted to him, sitting on the bed. She observed his movements, noticing the cutter in his hand, positioned dangerously close to his nerve. Panic surged through her as she quickly placed the cups of tea on the desk, her instincts kicking in to prevent any harm. With a swift motion, she snatched the cutter from his grasp and threw it away, her actions driven by a mix of urgency and determination.

Understandably, he reacted with anger, his emotions running high in that moment. However, she remained steadfast, using her calming presence and gentle words to soothe his troubled state. It was a challenging situation, but she managed to navigate it with care and compassion, providing the support he needed in that vulnerable moment.

[Remember, it's important to approach sensitive topics like self-harm and mental health with empathy and understanding. If you or someone you know is struggling, it's always advisable to seek professional help...(just a suggestion)]

"Thik hai aap?"

("You alright?")

"Nahi, main theek nahi hoon." He raised his voice, his words echoing through the room as he stood tall, locking eyes with her.

("No, I am not okay.")

The intensity of his gaze conveyed a mix of anger, frustration, and determination. It was as if the world around them faded away, leaving only the two of them in that charged moment.

"Mujhe mehsoos hota hai, ke mujhe akela chhod diya gaya hai. Mujhe khud par shak hota hai, aur sochta hoon ke kahin maine kuch ghalat toh nahi kiya."

("I feel like I've been left alone. I doubt myself and wonder if I've done something wrong.")

Sitting back on the bed, tired of being alone, he longs to shed tears and release the weight of his emotions. The desire to escape from the harsh reality and let go of the painful memories consumes him. He yearns for someone who can truly empathize with his struggles and help him find solace.

Love is what he craves, a love that can heal his wounds and bring light to his darkness. His longing is palpable, and the hope for a compassionate connection shines brightly in his heart.

"Mein samajh sakti hoon aap ki taqleef ko, lekin yaad rakhe, kabhi kabhi, hamare imaan ke imtehaan hote hai, aur woh bohat mushkil hote hai."

("I can understand your pain, but remember, sometimes, our faith is tested, and they are very difficult.")

As she sat beside him, she spoke in a gentle and understanding tone. She intimately understood the feeling of being all alone, of carrying the weight of pain without anyone truly comprehending. The longing to hide the inner turmoil resonated deeply within her own experiences.

"Bas yeh samajhna itna mushkil kyu hai ke Chanda meri zindagi se door ho gayi hai. Lag raha hai jaise mera jahan toot gaya hai."

("Why is it so difficult to understand that Chanda is no more a part of my life? It feels like my world has been shattered.")

As a single tear escaped from his eye, he felt a deep yearning to alleviate his pain by confiding in someone. In a vulnerable moment, he began to open up, allowing his emotions to flow freely. It was a small but significant step towards finding solace and understanding.

"Mujhe andaza hai, ke yeh aap keliye kitna dardnak hoga. Lekin koshish kare, ke yakeen rakhe, ke har shakhs ke liye Allah ka apna koi iraada hota hai, chahe woh abhi samajh mein na aaye."

("I can imagine how painful this will be for you. But try and believe that Allah has some intention for every person. Even if we'll don't understand it now, we will understand it some day.")

As she held his hand and gently caressed it, she began to explain the power of beliefs in Allah (SWT). She shared the profound impact that faith can have in providing comfort, strength, and guidance during times of pain and struggle.

"Lekin mera, mere jazbaat ko apne imaan se milana bohat mushkil ho gaya hai. Mein abb uss rabb par imaan kho chuka hu, mujhe abb uss jhuthe khuda par bharosa nhi raha."

("But it has become very difficult for me to reconcile my feelings with my faith. I have now lost faith in that God; I no longer trust that false God.")

As he looked at their intertwined hands, a storm of thoughts and emotions raged within him. In that moment, he couldn't help but voice his deepest doubts and disbelief in Allah, along with the presence of hatred that consumed him. It was as if a tempest of conflicting feelings swirled around him, challenging his faith and testing his resolve.

"Allah na kaha hai mujh pe bharosa rakho, phir zindagi mein jesa bhi daur ho humain iss baat pe yakeen rkhna hai. Jo log bharosa krte hain phir wo khud kushi ke bare mein nahi sochty. Issi liye khud khushi haram hai kyu ke jo log aisa karte hain iska matlab hai unka eman kamzor hai.

Hamara jism Allah ki amanat hai aur hum isko apni marzi sa nuksaan pohanchaein ge toh uska hisab hoga. Hum apni marzi se khud ko nuksan nahi pohancha sakte, jaan bujh kar.

Bharosa karna chaiye Allah par. Agar aik maa apny bachy ka naseeb likhti toh wo usmein asaaniyan hi likhti. Toh phir toh Allah 70 Maon sa ziada pyaar karta hai wo toh kabhi nahi dekh sakta apne bande ko takleef main."

("Allah has said to trust him, no matter what challenges we face in life, we must believe in this. Those who trust don't think about self-harm. That's why self-harm is forbidden because it shows weak faith.

Our bodies are entrusted to us by Allah, and if we cause harm to it willingly, we will be held accountable. We cannot harm ourselves intentionally, knowingly.

We should trust in Allah. If a mother were to write her child's destiny, she would only write ease. So Allah, who loves us more than 70 mothers, can never bear to see His creation in pain.")

With every word, she sought to instill hope and remind him of the divine love and support that is always available. They delved into matters of spirituality, finding solace and inspiration in their shared beliefs. In that moment, she offered him solace, a glimmer of hope that he wasn't alone in his struggles.

The journey begins, the journey of healing and understanding, each other, together.
