"good surgery mark" addison said drying her hands
"yep..so how about that drink?" he asks
"that drink? i'm sorry mark but i have plans with my wife after work" addison smiles throwing away her paper towel
"come on, loosen up you and i always use to hang out before you found your soulmate" he said making air quotes "actually we were friends with benefits weren't we? why can't we do that again?" mark asks
"because i am married to the love of my life, mark we are friends nothing more, and you know that the moment i first saw meredith was the moment we stopped having sex so why are you doing this now?" addison says
"because i want to, who cares if you're married one night won't hurt" mark says with a smirk stepping closer to addison
addison stepped back until her back hit the wall, mark grabbed her arms and held them against the wall
"mark let me go" addison said trying to squirm her arms out of his grip
mark leaned in to kiss addison, hard
addison tried kicking him but he wouldn't budge
that's when meredith opened the door and saw them
addison pushed him out of the way since he stopped to see who it was
"mer! wait!" addison left the room running after meredith and the video ends

meredith was speechless
"i hate you" meredith says
"but..the video" addison says
"i hate you" meredith says "for not coming after me sooner it took you a week to get here! i missed you so i dated my one night stand" meredith says standing up pacing back and forth
"meredith..mer, im sorry it took me a week because no flights were opened i tried getting here as fast as i could when the chief told me you were here" addison says holding her by the shoulders
meredith puts her arms around addisons waist hugging her and addison strokes her hair
"i didn't believe you..i'm an idiot right?" meredith asks
"no..you're not an idiot, a lot of people in your life has let you down..i let you down i didn't fight hard enough" addison says
"you fought addison..you fought you ran in the rain for me when i stormed out that night" meredith says
"i did" addison chuckled

"meredith! mer wait! it's not what it looks like i swear" addison yelled as meredith stormed out
"really? then what was it! huh?" meredith answered back as she walked into the parking lot
"would you stop and listen please!" addison said
"what!" meredith turned out
"mark forced it, i was trapped he trapped me" addison said tasting blood on her lips
"i can't..i can't believe you, even if he forced it let it happen" meredith said
"mer you're not listening..mark trapped me i couldn't move he held my arms against the wall, i didn't kiss him back i didn't!" addison tried to explain stepping closer to meredith who only stepped back
"you can't call me that anymore" meredith said as she continued walking
"meredith!" addison ran after her
she stopped again
"i'm getting divorce papers, im packing my stuff i'll leave in the morning" meredith said
"meredith listen to me just listen i swear i swear it was nothing i didn't kiss him back meredith i love you and you're my wife, we can work through this we're meredith and addison" she said
"we aren't meredith and addison anymore" meredith said looking up at addison seeing the pain in her eyes

addison remembers the guy with the hair in the lobby
"i'm sorry" meredith cries
"i.." addison can't seem to find her words
"addison..i'm sorry, i don't think there's any excuse" meredith says digging her face in addison chest
"it's okay" addison says patting her back as she tears up too her wife cheated on her, and she did have an excuse but the excuse wasn't true
addison pulls away to look at meredith, it kind of hurts to look at her knowing she slept with someone else but she looked at meredith and was still in love with her
"it hurts..to look at you" addison says wiping meredith's tears away but more end up flowing down as she says that "but i'm still in love with you" she says
"you fought for me in the rain and i cheated on you" meredith cries
"mer..we can work this out, we can" addison says it's like history is repeating itself
"you promise to stay and fight for me?" meredith asks
"i promise" addison says without hesitating, she cups meredith's cheeks and gives her a long kiss
they pull away and meredith sobs even more
"it's okay, it's okay mer don't cry..i'm hurt, but i'm okay because i know that if you didn't love me anymore you wouldn't be crying right now, it hurts me to know you slept with another person but i love you and i'm not gonna leave a 3 year marriage with the woman i love, for you spending two or four lousy nights with a man" addison explains
"i love you too addie" meredith says sniffling "that was really sweet, i know i hurt you..i shouldn't have acted that way toward you.." meredith says
"i know but it's not your fault, i can't keep saying it's not anyone's fault because we are both to blame..but we can fix this because we love each other" addison says
"addie..i love you" meredith says again
"i love you too mer, now let's eat something i'm starving, we can talk more while eating" addison says
meredith nods as addison wipes her tears away, mer wasn't sure addison had truly forgiven her
"mer, i promise i won't give up on you, us" addison says
