Renjun clears his throat into a microphone. "If we could have your attention, please." Once all eyes are on him, he continues. "A few of us have put together a slideshow of moments that really show how Ten and Yangyang feel about each other. This is, of course, supposed to be entertaining so feel free to laugh."
"I'm not sure I'll be laughing!" Yangyang calls at him.
Renjun smiles. "We're not worried." Kun presses a button on the laptop so the screen changes to one with Yangyang's name at the top and various pictures of him throughout his life around the border. Yanyang covers his face with his hands for a few seconds before looking back up. "Don't worry, Ten is next."
"Please don't."
Chenle laughs. "I've never seen him like that."
The next slide is the same as the first, except with pictures of Ten.
"You look cute", Jaemin tells him.
The screen changes to a clip of Yangyang's parents sitting on a couch. "We agreed not to be too pushy about weddings, kids, even dating. Though that one was harder 'cause I am a bit nosy." On the screen, Yangyang's dad nods. "I remember, one time, I asked Yangyang if he'd ever want a wedding and he said he'd think about it and later on, he asked me if it was a very apparent feeling, wanting to marry someone. I said that if he ever gets to that point, he'll definitely know and his response was, 'Okay, we'll see if that happens'."
Ten turns to his fiance, curious. "Really?"
Yangyang nods.
"We also didn't worry about relationship milestones", Mr. Liu speaks up from the screen. "But that doesn't mean we weren't curious. I asked Yangyang one time and he just shrugged and said it's not that serious. And then Julianna walked in and told me that he says everything's not that serious. I asked Yangyang if she was right and he said yes, then explained that he's not opposed to things getting more serious but he's also not worried about it, he'd just take whatever he could get."
"Seeing him in love was weird", Julianna says, the clip now showing Yangyang's siblings. "We're all decently close so it's not like us liking people would be really awkward to talk about. I personally tell anyone who will listen."
"That's true!" Yangyang calls out.
"But before Ten came along, we'd never heard much from Yangyang. Then, Ten did come around and whatever filter Yangyang had before just disappeared. It's not even all in one go sometimes, it's just an extra comment like 'Ten likes that', 'I did that with Ten'. But my very favorite thing was this one time where me and Yang were talking and in the middle of it, Yang got a text and immediately smiled. I teased him, as one does, and he just ignored me but I could see his face getting red and after he replied, he hesitated and then was like 'he's really cute'. I told him to tell me more and he did. I said that he must really like Ten and he nodded and told me that this feels different. I asked if that was a good thing and he said he would only be a bad thing if things go wrong."
"He's so clingy with Ten", Yangyang's younger brother says. "We've met some other people Yangyang dated or well, didn't date." Yangyang covers his mouth to try not to laugh, much like how Julianna does in the video while his youngest sister just giggles the same way she's doing on the screen. "Besides standing next to each other and holding hands sometimes, that was really it. Whereas with Ten, he barely went a second without having some kind of contact with Yangyang. He barely got to eat in peace."
Ten chuckles and turns to Yangyang. "I didn't mind."
Yangyang leans forward to kiss Tens cheek. "Good."
"Look at them!" Yangyang's brother points out. "They're always like that. I guess it makes sense, but that was not a normal sight with anyone else. The closest is Renjun and they didn't like each other."
"I still don't!"
"It's mutual, babe!"
The clip changes, this one of Yangyang's dad by himself. "We all know Yangyang is in deep but the most clear was the day he came up to me and asked me how I knew I wanted to marry his mother. I told him that you just feel it and he got real quiet for a minute and then he said, quieter than I've ever heard him speak, "dad, I think I wanna marry him". Then there was all that panicking, you know, again." That makes some of them laugh. "I gotta say I'm impressed. Wasn't sure I'd see the day someone worm their way into my sons heart and do irreparable damage. I already liked Ten when I met him but this makes me like him more."
Ten laughs and looks over at Mr. Liu. "Thank you."
The man nods. "You're welcome. Long as you stay married, I'll like you."
"I plan on it."
Their families coo, causing Ten to flush and hide his face in Yangyang's chest. Yangyang easily ignores their audience as he rubs Ten's back and places a few kisses on his head. He melts when Ten looks up at him.
"You're so cute", Yangyang whispers, eyes shining with love.
"You too", Ten mumbles before giving him a quick peck and going back to cuddling with him as best he can.
Jaemin moves over to the laptop and gets handed the microphone. "Now are some of our favorite things Yangyang has said in reference to Ten." A screenshot of when Yangyang said he wants to propose to Ten appears. "Over text, I could only guess how nervous he was but I do have a good idea, especially once he started planning things. Yangyang had all six of us confirm that Ten would like the proposal and he was insistent on knowing if even the slightest detail should be changed because not only did he want to Ten to say yes, he wanted him to enjoy it." Jaemin passes the microphone off to Darci, who'd got up to stand next to him.
The next clip is a different screenshot of text messages, this time between Yangyang and Darci. "Something I'm constantly surprised by is how understanding he is. According to Jaemin, he hardly even blinked when Jaemin said he was going to threaten him and then I found out myself that he really doesn't care because he knows it's coming from a good place. Then, for fun, I decided to see if I could make him jealous and he was unfazed, it was annoying."
Yangyang chuckles. "Sorry!"
"Uh huh. And I asked him if it was bothering him and he said that as long as Ten is happy with the amount of affection and love I express, it doesn't bother him and he doesn't mind Ten showing love to other people in whatever way he wants to because that's his way of doing it. He just said he'd prefer we don't kiss on the lips."
"I'd also prefer that", Ten speaks up, causing some people to laugh.
Jungwoo takes the microphone and the image changes again. "There's more but if we're being honest, there's also gonna be more good things that come from Yangyang. It is very well established that he's head-over-heels for Ten, as he should be, and he just seems great. All your friends confirmed it, by the way, you should thank them."
"You're welcome!" Renjun, Sungchan, Xiaojun, and Shotaro say in unison.
"Thanks!"
"We all trust you and we're very smart people, don't make us look dumb."
Yangyang laughs. "I won't."
Johnny moves to the front and presses a button so the screen changes to one with Ten's name and pictures of him throughout his life on it.
Ten groans. "Johnny, why?"
"It had to be done."
Ten narrows his eyes at his friend. "It didn't."
Johnny smiles. "Don't worry, we're moving onto you being a lovesick fool right...", he hits a key. "Now."
The screen changes to a clip of Ten's family sitting at a table, Ten's sister smiling brightly. "I've been waiting to talk about this."
"Ten talking about whoever has caught his eye at the moment isn't new to us", Ten's mom starts. "The length of this relationship is impressive."
"Mom!"
The woman gives her son a sheepish smile. "Sorry, sweetie."
"I knew something was up when Ten started getting nervous, he's normally pretty confident. Sometimes, I wonder where he gets it from."
"It's me", his sister, Terra, says.
"He asked us all what it's like to be in love but I heard before that, he was freaking out at the thought."
Ten turns in his chair to look at Darci who just grins and blows him a kiss. "Bitch."
"I love you too."
On the screen, Terra is showing her text messages with Darci, both of them discussing Ten. "We had a facetime call about it. It sounded hilarious but I realized Ten was actually stressed about it. Well, he was more stressed about bringing it up to Yangyang and getting his reaction. I had to go through ten different threats and then mention that monster gummy bear from Goosebumps to get him to laugh."
"I told him that Yangyang would be an idiot not to be in love with him and he rolled his eyes at me", Ten's dad speaks up. "I said more and he told me none of it was helpful. I reminded him of what he'd said to Terra once, to just go for it, take the rejection if you get rejected and move on because you won't die and they're not worth it anyways. That kinda worked. For like a day and then he was back to stressing and saying me and his mom never say anything helpful."
"You're lucky I can't ground you."
Ten smiles. "I love you."
His mom rolls his eyes but says, "I love you too."
The screen changes, this time showing both a screenshot and then a video underneath it. "Me and Taeyong weren't in this groupchat but we got the same text because Ten told everybody he talks to."
Yangyang smiles at Ten before leaning in. "You're seriously so cute." He presses a kiss to Tens forehead. "I love you."
It's probably because it's Ten but Yangyang thinks the smile he receives in return is one of the most adorable smiles he's seen from his fiance yet. The amount of love flowing through Ten makes him feel shy, constantly discovering just how much he can feel for the beautiful person before him.
He takes Yangyang's hand and gently pulls him forward to give him a little peck. "I love you too."
"That's borderline disgusting", Renjun announces, loudly, and grins when the couple looks at him.
"Well, speaking of borderline disgusting", Johnny flashes a smile at the couple, "that's what a lot of us think when Ten talks about Yangyang." He presses play on the video.
The focus is on a mahogany table and there's chatter in the background but you can clearly hear Ten talking. Eventually, the angle switches, bringing both Ten and Darci into view. Ten is focused on whoever is across from him while a grinning Darci keeps looking at the camera.
"I feel weird", Ten says, first looking across from him and then in the direction of whoever's holding the phone. It gets lowered a bit but Ten is still in view.
"Good or bad?"
"Good, I think. All of this with Yangyang is new and sometimes, I can't tell if it's reasonable. Does it always feel so...so out of control?"
"Yeah", comes Jaemins voice from off-screen.
"That's how I knew", Darci says, quietly. "It's different with Em."
"That's all why I was so scared with Xiaojun", says Kun, off-screen. "It's the most intense thing I've ever felt and it was scary discovering I could feel this way. You're not unreasonable, it's just that love isn't exactly something you can control and the stronger it gets makes it even harder. But trust us, Yangyang is very in love with you."
"Yeah", Jungwoo says, bringing Tens attention towards the camera. "He once got disappointed when he walked into the tattoo shop and only saw Kun. It was so funny."
"Thanks", Kun says in time with himself in the video. He gets up and switches places with Johnny. He hits a key and a series of screenshots appear on the screen. Kun picks up the micropone and smiles at Ten. "This is payback. Unfortunately, it's cute."
"Love you too, Kunnie!"
"Uh huh." He raises the microphone to his mouth. "I feel like we've got the point over pretty well but I'd just like to add that everything you see here, all the conversations you're mentioned it, the conversations specifically about you, that feeling Ten was talking about it, it keeps going and adding on with time. It's why we're at your wedding rehearsal dinner." Kun smiles. "It is so clear, to probably everyone-"
"Yes!" Some people call out.
Kun laughs. "It's clear that Ten is very, very in love with you. He is also very determined to make you happy. He's stolen Xiaojun from me a couple times because he wanted his help on something for you." While he was talking, Winwin moved next to him, so he passes off the microphone to him.
"This is on behalf of all your best friends, I actually don't know why I'm the one doing this."
Yangyangs laughs. "I appreciate it."
"You should be fully aware that if we thought Ten was someone to be concerned about, we would've dragged you away from him a long time ago. Physically, according to Renjun and Shotaro."
"That's right!"
"All we want is to make you sure you're treated well and given some the love and care that you give to other people. We've all seen you with Ten, you look happy. I don't think we could've found a better person for you, so thank God you get tattoos and thank God Ten is a tattoo artist."
Yangyang and Ten laugh, all cuddled up next to each other. They lean their heads together and look at their friends with matching fond expressions. Within the next two minutes, they're being swarmed into a large group hug that makes them laugh.
"Thank you", Ten repeats as he hugs each of his friends individually.
"You should've cried", Shotaro says when it's his turn to hug Yangyang.
"I think I will on my wedding day."
"Ten, I'll get the video for you."
Ten laughs and nods. "Thank you."

Ten and Yangyang both cried, much to some of their guests amusement. Jaemin and Hendery took the liberty of taking their friends to freshen up before the reception started, knowing they'd want to look presentable. Jaemins method was to distract Ten, which included the commentary Darci and Jungwoo had said to him all throughout their time being there, while Hendery just sat in silence with Yangyang.

Walking into a dim, darkly decorated room causes Ten's mother to let out a gasp. She looks around at all the black walls, the candles on the long table with red layers of wax meant to look like blood, the buffet table that has more desserts meant to have blood and the various drinks with fangs and eyeballs, not to mention the blood-bag pouches.
"Ten, why are there teeth in the drinks?"
Ten laughs. "Because vampires have fangs, Mom."
"You know, this looks an awful lot like a horror-themed wedding."
"It's vampire themed and look", Ten says, pointing to Affinity and Reese who are happily admiring all the vampire-themed treats. "Even the kids love it."
"This is actually pretty cool", Alya comments, which earns her a nod or word of agreement from Haeun, Ana, Minjae, and Nina.
Yangyang comes over and hands the woman a black booklet with a smile. "Here's a menu."
Tens mom instantly opens it and makes a face at the creative names. One, she just rolls her eyes at. "Bloody hot chocolate, really?"
Ten just keeps grinning. "It's fun, Mom. I promise everything tastes good. Me and Yangyang decided what would be on the menu."
"I'm scared of what your wedding cake looks like."
"Ten!" Terra calls from her seat at the table. "Please, don't make Mom pass out."
"She won't", her dad tells her and then rushes over to Ten and lowers his voice, "She won't, right?"
Ten looks over at his mother who's judging her environment as she slowly backs away to a seat besides Terra. "I'm actually not sure at this point."
The differences between Tens mother and Yangyangs entire family is hilarious. The two had been seated across from each other, giving Tens mom a clear view of them indulging into the vampire-themed items without so much as batting an eye. Terra just laughs at her mom while Tens dad tries to get his wife to have an open mind.
That all goes out the window when she sees the four-tiered black cake with a black drip and a topper that says 'til death do us part'. Hand over Yangyangs as they both grip the knife, Ten glances over at his mom right before they stab the top, mini tier which causes a dark red red liquid to ooze out. The woman audibly gasps.
"It's just strawberry syrup", Yangyang tells her. "We promise."
"It's not like they'd have real blood anywhere."
"Ten?"
Ten gives his mother a look. "Of course not. Please, eat your chocolate tombstone."
His mom makes a face at him but does as he says.
"Now, I understand why you were so excited for this", Yangyangs says, quietly.
Ten smiles. "Yes, but you know why I was the most excited?" Ten wraps his arms around Yangyangs neck. "'Cause I knew you'd officially be my husband. This is fun but I would take anything if it meant being with you like this."
Yangyang grins, brightly, in that way Ten just loves so much. "I love all your different ways of saying you love me. No matter what you say it, the response is always, 'I love you too'. Thank you for being mine."
Ten shakes his head. "Don't thank me for that." Smiling again 'cause he feels unable to stop, he continues, "I love being yours." He pecks Yangyangs lips and then pulls away, just to look at him. And then he kisses him again, a little longer this time "I love you."
They get one moment of silence before Yangyangs brother speaks up. "That was cute. Will you please cut the cake?"
It took me a while to actually decide how things would like and so of course I made a visual for myself

I know there's not a whole lot here but I wanted to add a little more and I thought one of the parents being appalled by the vampire theme was hilarious so I added that in and accidentally made Tens mom a little dramatic😂
Writing this made me realize I kinda skipped over one of the cutest couples in this book. I didn't have a lot of ideas for them but if I did, they'd probably be competing with XiaoKun for the cutest side couple. I said what I said
