My alarm blares from my bed side trying to wake me up. I close it while waking up.
As I wake up, I move towards bathroom to freshen up. While I do that, let me introduce myself to you.
I am Riya Sen. I am a girl with an average height of 5"5' with mid back length slightly wavy brown hair and plain dark brown eyes.
After I fresh up and change into my today's clothes that is blue leggings with my blue and white knee length kurti. I put little amount of make up like mascara, kajal to make my boring brown eyes stand out and my favourite cherry and mint lip balm to make my lips soft. Then I go out of my room to meet my mother in kitchen.
"Good morning mama(mom)," I said.
"Good morning Riya. Here's your breakfast." She replied.
"Thank you mom."
I left the kitchen with my breakfast. As i was having my breakfast, my father wakes up.
"Good morning papa(dad)," I said.
"Good morning Riya." He said.
My father has his own medical business where as my mom is a housewife. Both have been married for 21 years and are still in love with each other as they where when they where at the start of their marriage. They still manage to take out time for each other from their busy schedules and go to dates even now (even if sometimes we have to force them out on special occasion ... you know on their anniversary or Valentine's day ;-p).
My father is usually so busy with managing business that sometimes we cant get to properly spend sometime as a family. But whenever and whatever time we have, I enjoy and cherish it fully and I m happy with it because I have both my mom and dad in my life.
With those thoughts in my mind, I finish my breakfast, put my plate in the kitchen basin and move towards my mom to ask her about my lunch box.
"Mom, have you packed my lunch box?" I asked.
"Yes dear, I have. Its on the dinning table." She replied.
"Thanks mom. Your the best :)"
Now I have to move fast or I will miss the bus and will be late to the college on my first day.
"Have a good day Riya !" They both said.
I left my house with a smile on my face ready to face the new day and its challenges that life gives me.
