Hey hi I know I keep doing this where I keep dragging out my hiatuses and it's really annoying even for me but I'm quite literally drowning both physically and metaphorically in work rn.
Honestly forgot I had this app and was writing a fanfic w the amount of crap my teachers decided to give me until I got a message from someone on this app lmao
Econ teach decided to give us a giant project out of nowhere, had to spend 6 hours on the outline/prep to the essay yesterday (got 2.5 hours of sleep yippee), 4 hours on the actual essay today, and I still have to make a presentation slideshow to my essay tmrw and then present on Thursday.
New stats unit started Monday, there's gonna be a quiz I think Thursday or Friday, already falling behind in this new unit. Too many goddam formulas and rules and symbols to memorize, and my memory is already crap
Creative writing teach decided to give us a major assignment too where we're gonna hafta write 4-6 pages of a "short story", after filling out this long azz planning thing and a buncha charts that I still have yet to do. Like why do teachers make us write stuff but fill out planning stuff like why can't we just. Write.
And then also had 9 pieces to practice total, 6 now bc had my serenaders (orch thing) performance last Sunday so that's 3 less. Orch teacher decided just today that we're gonna have a playing test next Tuesday and I actually need to practice for it bc shifting sextuplets are not fcking fun at ~100bpm, also need to practice a couple of 3 octave pain in the azz scales as well as this viola concerto excerpt bc I've been teacher and peer pressured into auditioning for ERO (I think eastern regional orch) this year. Auditions technically mid January but i don't feel too confident in my playing skills rn ngl. I love the concerto anyway tho, if anyone wants to listen to it, i posted it above at the tippy top of this rant, time stamp at 16:35 (rondo)
I really was gonna write a new chapter for this fanfic over break but I ended up just enjoying having my brothers back home for once, finally downloaded TikTok just to secretly use that kissing Shrek filter on em (and my mom) every now and then. No regrets.
Anyway sry again guys I know it's disappointing as a fellow fanfic reader myself (or used to be, haven't had time to read shyte in so long), I'm just. Dying rn. Also v stressed out if u can't tell. Also hungry atm. Once I actually get time to myself for once I'll try to start writing again.
I truly hope y'all had a wonderful break tho, hopefully had some good turkey, cranberry sauce, or whatever y'all eat on thanksgivings. Idk I'm Asian bruh
