I don't know who brought me here but I just realized I'm going to train to be a spy! I don't know if I'm excited or nervous...I'm scared that there will be really mean bosses and will boss me around non spot. Oh, here goes nothing...I'm finally gonna meet the highest ranking spies in this generation. You then knocked on the door and you heard a voice to tell you to come in, so you did.
"Hello, sir...it's a pleasure to meet and work with you-" You looked up to see 3 handsome men staring down. You bit your lip and blushed.
"Ah! You must be the new intern? Don't worry, I'll train you until you get all the skills right!" The one with the white hair exclaimed while you turned to the taller one. "Oh, I have to train...someone like you...you better not mess this up for us." He said coldly. You then turned to the shorter one. "Hello, I see you're a woman...I'm gonna go easy on you and you may call me Akaza since personal information is not allowed." You nodded as one of them put his hand around you. "Oh and, call me Douma! That's a code name! Just like what Akaza said, we can't reveal our real names!" He chuckled while you nodded. "And you can call me...Kokushibo...that's all you need to know." He said while looking away. "Well then, we can start the training tomorrow! Goodbye now!" Douma waved goodbye as you did too.
OMG! WERE THOSE MY BOSSES?! DAMN...THEY'RE HOTTER THAN I IMAGINED! I need to calm down for a second! But like...I would probably sleep with any of them at this point...I can't wait to start my first training with them tomorrow!
The next day: Training with the spy named Akaza.
"So, for your first task, I want to see your shooting skills." You gulped and picked up a gun. But as expected...you failed to shoot all of them and shot in the wrong places.
-"I'm sorry, Akaza sensei...I don't think I'll be able to complete this ta-"
-"Don't you dare say that to yourself! You're a woman and all women are queens! I believe you can do it!"
-"Akaza-sensei...thanks for the encouragement but I don't thi-"
-"Y/N! I WILL GIVE YOU MORE WORK TO DO IF YOU DON'T TRY YOUR BEST! YOU CAN DO IT!"
He exclaimed while you just gave in and sighed. "Alright, thank you for the encouragement, Akaza-sensei..." You trained and trained but still failed...after hours of training, you were able to shoot 1 bullet on the target. "You did it, Y/n, congratulations on completing one task. Now, you have to shoot 30 more targets." He smiled while you looked like you wanted to faint. "Akaza sensei! Can you please let me take a little break?! I feel like 1 more shot I'll faint!" You exclaimed while he shook his head. "Sorry, Y/n...I'm not making the rules, the leader of the organization is and you have to experience these hardships because tomorrow, you're starting your first mission with Douma." He said while you turned pale. 'W-WHAT?! BUT I'M NOT READY! I CAN'T EVEN SHOOT PROPERLY AND I FEEL LIKE MY WHOLE BODY IS GIVING UP ON ME!" You said, panicking. "That's normal for us. Before we even became a top spy, we had to go on a mission the next day. Spies do nothing but work, no rest." He stated that everything that he said was too much for you. "A-alright...I get it...not, let's do more training for my first mission for tomorrow. I'll need it." He nodded as both of you trained again. "Alright, Y/n. I'm just preparing you for the restless spy days you're gonna endure."
-"THAT'S IT, Y/N! YOU CAN DO IT! YOU CAN BEAT YOUR BEST RUNNING SPEED IN THIS ROUND!"
-*pant, pant, pant* "AKAZA SENSEI! I DID IT, I DID!"
-"Oh my?! You actually did do it, I'm so proud of you!"
He then hugged you tight while your legs just wanted to collapse. "I-I really did it...finally, I can rest for tonight." You said in between pants. "Rest? Who said you're gonna rest, Y/n? It's almost night time and you still have some night training until 8:30." He stated while your eyes widened. "WHAT?! BUT I'VE BEEN TRAINING HERE FOR 12 HOURS AND THE ONLY BREAK I'VE GOT WAS WHEN LUNCH!" You screamed in frustration. "You're lucky that I'm not Kokushibo or he'll hit you right now and the night training is to improve your vision in the dark since spies are usually active when it's night." He said but all you can do is nod. "Akaza sensei, if you ever see me faint, then it means that I'm dead already from overwork." You sighed and started to walk to the training area.
All night was full of dodging and punching mostly the air since you can't see in the dark. Akaza was chuckling at your attempts to try to punch the animatronic but you always ended up punching the air. Finally it was 8:30, you can finally rest and prepare for your first mission tomorrow.
"Oh damn...you look really tired and look like you haven't slept in days." You looked at him with tired eyes and nodded. "Akaza sensei...thank you for teaching me today and I appreciate it...it's the mission tomorrow that I'm worried about." You said in between pants. You then scanned your ID to leave the building but then Akaza stopped you. "Wait, Y/n! Tomorrow you're going to go on a mission with Douma, right?" He asked as you looked at him with a curious look. "Yes, why?" You replied. "I want to warn you that he isn't the man you think he is and I want you to be careful with him and if he tries to sleep with you, decline it." He said with a serious look and tone. "Uhm...okay and what makes you think I'll sleep with him?" You asked while he sighed. "Because he looks deceiving and sincere but in reality, he's nothing but a lying bastard." He said with venom. You were confused for a second but then shrugged.
"Alright then, have a good night Akaza sensei!"
The next day: Going on a mission with a charismatic spy named Douma
Oh shoot! I'm running late and hopefully my partner for this mission is not strict! And not to mention, he's one of the top spies and he'll tell the leader about this and he'll have my head! You started running like your life depended on it but then, you bumped into someone.
"Woah, woah, woah! Be careful, you don't want to hurt your pretty little face, don't you?" You looked up to see Douma who was smiling. "Oh...I'm so sorry that I ruined your perfectly ironed suite." You mumbled. "Oh! That's okay, the important thing is that you're here. Come, let us discuss this privately...where no one can hear us since this place is really crowded." Douma then went to a dark alleyway. You followed him.
Yeah uh...pretend he has sunglasses here
"So, there is this diamond that is worth 5 477 850 000 billion yen and was stolen from the museum and now we have to get it back." He then showed the picture of the diamond. Your eyes widened. "I-is that the Sakura diamond? How the hell did it get stolen?! I thought it was protected with many lasers and traps!" You exclaimed while Douma shook his head. "We don't know how but someone must have dressed up as a guard and took it when they worked the night shift. It's just a possibility and a hypothesis and we can't be sure of what happened that night." You nodded. "Where is the location of this diamond?" You asked. "We're tracking it down using the robots we made. Soon, it will track down the location, just any second now." Suddenly a notification pops out. "Come on! Follow me to this location!" He basically ran fast, like faster than anyone you've seen. "Wait up, Douma sensei!!!"
Hours later...
"Listen, Y/n...I want you to take this seriously because this diamond is very important to the museum." He put his hands on your shoulder as you nodded." "You can trust me to bring the diamond, sir!" You exclaimed full of pride in your eyes. "I knew I could count on a pretty girl like you!" He exclaimed while you blushed. "Follow me, the location is around this corner..." You nodded while following him. You thought it would be a walk in the park but you were absolutely wrong....
"Wait, Y/n! Be careful! The thief of this diamond is very protective over it so there must be traps!" But before you could step on one, he saved you. The trap activated while you stared at it wide eyed. "I'm sorry..I was not aware that it was a trap..." You bowed your head down while apologizing. "Oh no, it's fine since you're just new and I was like you when I first started! Annoying Akaza san!" He chuckled. "Anyway, be careful since things are not what they seem to be..." Douma then helped you get through the lasers and traps.
"We're finally here...be careful, we are in the room in which the diamond is...the traps and lasers are very strong so be careful." He stated while you gulped. "U-Uhm...Douma sensei? Can I please just stay here...? I don't want to mess everything up for you." You gave him a nervous smile as he looked at you curiously." "Huh? Why not? Don't you want to complete this mission with me?" He asked while you nodded. "I do...but I don't want to set the alarm off so just please go ahead and retrieve it." You persuaded Douma for maybe about 10 minutes but you were able to convince him. "I see..I don't want to bother you anymore...if this is what you want then, I should respect it." He smiled and went over lasers and traps to retrieve the diamond. You watched him in awe as he did that.
Douma POV:
Since Y/n does not want to do this and lacks self confidence, I should try my best to retrieve the diamond! I can't let Y/n and the organizations down! They are relying on me to bring this diamond back to the museum. Douma thought to himself as he was going through the last stage of the traps and lasers. Come on...I just have to make it to the top and...At last, he finally reached it. He slowly took the diamond and stashed it into his bag. Actually...the mission wasn't even that hard...all I did was dodge the lasers and traps. Although, the security here is far more harder than the other places I've been through but it's not easy but not too ha-" But before he could complete his sentence, the alarms started to go off. Huh? I didn't make a mistake, didn't I? It can't be, I was very careful and graceful in everything I did! He turned around to see you stepping on one of the traps. Oh no...
-"I'm so sorry, Douma sensei! I felt guilty for not helping you and now I messed up and made an ever bigger mess!"
-"Y/n...it's alright but what's important is tha-'' Suddenly a bunch of guards bursted in the room.
-"WHO THE HELL GOES THERE?! FREEZE! YOU'RE STEALING A PROPERTY THAT'S NOT YOURS! AND THIS GIRL IS COMING WITH US!" The tried to take you away but Douma ran in a fast speed and caught you just in time,
-"Don't worry, I got you, Y/n!"
-"How the heck did you run so fast?! Are you even human?!"
-"There's no time to wonder about that! All we need to do is run!"
Douma carried you while dodging all of the gun shots. But then both of you were cornered at the end. "Oh no, Douma sensei! What are we going to do now?!" You exclaimed while holding onto him tight. "I didn't want to do this but..." He placed you down on the floor and looked at all the men coldly. "Alright then...if all of you want to fight me then...I'll just take all of you in a fight." Douma said while you just stared at him wide-eyed. "Douma sensei! There are over 100 men here! You probably can't beat 1 vs 100+ men!" You screamed and he just smiled at you. "You mean a 2 vs 100? I have you as my support and trust me, we're going to win this."
You watched him fight all the men all alone. You thought he was dead meat but to your surprise, he defeated all of them with only using a fist. Your jaw dropped at that, you never seen a person do that all your life. I guess that's how pro spies work...smart and strong.
-"Douma sensei? You look tired...do you want to rest and retrieve that diamond to the museum?"
-"I would love to rest! But I'm afraid as a spy, I can't rest. Spies have to do a lot of work since my rank is high, I have more things to do and you're right, let's just retrieve this diamond.."
A few hours later...
"Good work, Agent Douma and agent (insert your chosen name as a spy) You've undone yourself this time. Even though Agent Y/n messed up some of it, I'm glad you fought those guys until the end. You are now an official spy, welcome and congratulations, agen Y/n." Muan shook your head as you did too. Thank you, Muzan sama..."
After that...
-"I also want to congratulate you for completing the mission without dying and are you excited for your mission tomorrow with Kokushibo?"
-"No, not really...I heard from Akaza sensei that he isn't that nice to anyone he meets and especially newbies."
-Douma chuckles. "I know, he wasn't very friendly to me when I first became a spy. He was slightly rude and bossy, but I'm sure he's nice deep down and just experienced a bad past."
-"Yeah, please wish me luck tomorrow and it's a pleasure working with you tonight." Douma nodded as you waved goodbye to him.
As you went home, you wondered to yourself what Akaza meant by him being a red flag? He was nice...
Day 3, going with the mysterious spy named Kokushibo.
"Where were you, Y/n? You're late for our first mission." He stared at you coldly as you gulped.
-"W-well I was tired from yesterday's mission but I swear, I'll do better this time, sir."
-"Y/n, I know it was Douma who brought the diamond back and fought all those guards. You were nothing that a burden to him. He could have done it by himself but he wanted you on that mission."
-"H-how do you-
-"I just know and always know what you're doing. Now, I'll discuss all the rules when you're with me and things I dislike." He then forced you to sit down and listen. You were really annoyed with this guy.
-"Rule number 1, no asking questions and rule number 2, don't speak unless I tell you to."
-"Huh? Why is that Kokushibo sensei-"
-"You just broke 2 rules that I mentioned...didn't I tell you not to ask me questions and to not speak unless I tell you to?" You sighed and nodded.
-"Rule number 3, don't be a burden to me and rule number 4, don't show any emotion. You're a spy, not an actor."
2 hours later...
"And rule number 300, only show emotion when it's for a mission and when I tell you to." He said while you were on the urge to sleep. "Wake up, Y/n...you're a spy, not a baby." He nudged you roughly. "Oh uhm...sorry about that..." You mumbled. "I'll let you off this time but when you sleep again, I'll kill you. His cold gaze pierced at you while you trembled.
Now, let's head for the mission."
Y/n POV:
I am so through with this guy! First he makes rude comments and then hits me everytime I get one of his stupid questions wrong and now, he is making me wear a gown for the masquerade ball! I mean...why am I complaining? Akaza and Douma sensei were nice spies and this is what a real spy acts...now, I have to retrieve another lost item and it's a lost painting! I forgot what it's called but Kokushibo stated it was around the mansion.
-"Y/n, that's the wrong room..." Kokushibo spoked over the device you were using.
-"How am I supposed to know?! I'm just finding where the painting is located!"
-"Be careful with that painting! It's The Great Wave of Kanagawa! Worth over 39,554,715.00 yen!"
-"THE GREAT WAVE OF KANAGAWA?! THAT'S HELLA EXPENSIVE!"
-"Shhh! You're gonna draw attention! And besides, how did Muzan sama pick you as an official spy now when Douma did all the work and you were just a burden."
-Look...I'm trying my best..."
-"Not good enough, Y/n! Now, be quiet and keep searching for it!"
You sighed and just kept doing what he asked you to. I mean, it's not like you can do anything about it. He was way more experienced and superior than you. The guards got suspicious of you and Kokushibo but you had a bit of charisma and slightly flirted with them.
"Y/n, Y/n, Y/n! Are you still there? You werent talking for a while..." Kokushibo asked on the other side of the phone. "Sorry...I think I found the painting you were looking for..." You stated as Kokushibo's eyes widened. "Send me the location of the house, I'll be there soon!" After minutes, Kokushibo arrived at the scene. "Y/n, I'm here-" But before he could say anything, he saw you getting tied up by the guards.
"I can't believe her pretty little face distracted us from stopping her!" one of the guards exclaimed. "I know right? Boss will kill us if he finds out one of his paintings was about to get stolen!" Another guard exclaimed as Michikatsu knocked both of them out.
"Y/n...why are you always so useless and such a burden?" he asked while untying you from the ropes and the tape in your mouth. "You already know that, Kokushibo sensei...I'm a newbie at this job." You sighed and stated. "You know, I just realized that you're prettier up close." He said softly while you cringed.
-"Thank you...not many people tell me that..."
-"Then, they must be blind since I can see it."
Both of you stayed silent for quite a while but you cut off the silence. "Kokushibo san? Shouldn't we get this painting and bring it back to the museum?" You asked while Kokushibo snapped out of his thoughts. "Oh uh! Sure, let's take it back and receive praise from Muzan sama." You then stepped in and took the painting without thinking that it could be a trap. "WAIT Y/N! BE CAREFUL-" But before he could stop you, alarms started to go off. "Uh oh...I'm really sorry Kokushibo..." He the slapped his own forehead and grabbed your arm. "RUN! AND TAKE THE GODDAMN PAINTING!" He yelled as he started to punch the security while running.
After the incident...
"Good job, Kokushibo and Y/n! Kokushibo did an amazing job and Y/n...you need a little bit of training." Muzan stated as you blushed in embarrassment. "Alright you two, both of you can leave the office now."
After leaving the office...
-"You did an amazing job, Y/n."
-"Huh? What are you talking about? All I did was mess things up for you."
-"Without you, I wouldn't be able to find the painting. I was wrong, you are fit to be a spy.
He gave you a pat on the shoulder while he left. You then stared at him leaving the building in shock.
Did he just...congratulate me...? From calling me a failure, he said I did a good job...?"
