EVERYONE WATCHED AS Patri cried in Yoshiko's shirt. They wanted to pull them away but no one had the heart to. Not after Yoshiko's deceleration.
"Hey, gotta ask you something," Kazuya said to Ryuko.
"What's up?" Ryuko asked.
"About my kids... I had three of them, Yuuta, Naomi and Ayato... What happened to them?" She asked.
"Oh, that..." Ryuko said. "All of them are alive and doing well,"
Kazuya's eyes slightly widened.
"Really? Did Yuuta take over the tribe when the seal became undone?"
"Better. His grandson is the current head of the tribe," Ryuko said. "Before that, his daughter. He became the head and retired about 35 years ago,"
"That's reassuring... and that dragon we saw earlier... he's Yuuta's..."
"Son. Yoshiko and I are his grandchildren," Ryuko said with a smile.
Kazuya blinked in shock. This entire time, she was fighting with her great-grandchildren. It was an odd feeling. But she gave him a small grin.
"Weird as fuck. Does anyone have a pen and paper?" She asked.
"Why do you need one?"
"To write to my kids. You know, since I'm kinda alive and all,"
"Yoshiko has a notebook," Asta said. "She carries it all the time. I'm sure she wouldn't mind if I gave you a paper or two,"
"Great. I need three papers," Kazuya said.
'She wants to write to each of her kids...' Ryuko thought.
Asta gave her Yoshiko's notebook and pen. Kazuya took it in her hands.
"Thank you," she said.
Patri and Yoshiko finally separated. Patri stood up before Yoshiko. His eyes were red from crying but he knew that it was time to go.
"Take this," Valtos said, handing him the grimoire.
"...Thank you, Valtos," he said.
"No matter what you really are... it was you who saved me that day," Valtos said, recalling his past.
Did... something happen to Mr. Valtos in the past?
"Most probably..."
"You don't tell me..." Asta asked.
"Yes," Patri nodded. "Asta, with your demon-destroyer sword, undo my reincarnation!"
"...Are you sure?"
"Of course... I've had regrets in this second life... But I fear death no longer," Patri said, putting the sword by his chest. "I believe that just disappearing like this is not enough to atone for everything I've done but..."
"Patri..." Rhya said.

Yoshiko gave him a hug from the side. Patri was shocked but he welcomed the hug and returned it.
"I will... miss you... as well," Yoshiko said.
'Fighting alongside Licht, Yoshiko and the others... until the very end... made me truly happy...' Patri thought as the circle behind him began to disintegrate.
From a white light, Patri's soul left and William returned. Yoshiko stood next to Yuno, holding his hand tightly.
"It will be okay, Yoshiko," Yuno said, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze. 'Captain Vangence...'
"Patri..." William muttered. 'The lonely soul who has been with me since I could remember... I see... Yoshiko has helped you find peace amongst your grief and anger...
'But it isn't over yet,' William thought creating a seed on his palm. 'So, I will end it!

Roots began to come out of the seed. Licht put his hand on William's back. William looked back at him and the two combined their magic.

"Whoa..." Yoshiko muttered upon seeing the glowing white tree.
'All the connected souls will be drawn into the great tree!' Licht thought.
'And become one!' William thought.
"Anti-magic boy... strike this tree with with the demon-destroyer sword!" Licht told Asta.
Asta stabbed the sword in the tree. The sword connected to the elves.
I can smell it... two souls in the elves... the smell... it smells nice...
"As I thought, the three of us aren't going anywhere," Rhya said with Fana and Vetto by him. "Our souls cling so tightly to our bodies' second reincarnation 'cuz our bodies didn't have souls to begin with,"
"I see... well, that may have some sort of meaning... Please continue living in this world for us!" Licht said.
"Licht...!" Vetto said.
"See you next time!" Fana said through tears.
"Hah, till paths cross again, huh?" Rhya said. "Now that Licht's said it, we have no choice. It'll be a pain we'll try living on for you,"
"Kazuya-san's children are still alive... maybe we can talk to them," Vetto said.
"Yeah, little Yuuta's all grown up now," Fana said.
"I finished just in time," Kazuya said, putting the pen down. She gave the three papers to Ryuko. "Will you give them to my kids, please?"
"Of course," Ryuko said, taking them. "I'll make sure they're probably wrapped,"
"Thanks... by the way..." Kazuya then leaned into Ryuko. "You're not seriously thinking of dating the silver-haired royal, are you?"
"I am," Ryuko said.
"Don't you fucking dare date him,"
"You know what? I'm just going to date him harder,"

"By the way... the elf-dragon in me... he's your sister's..."

"I'll go on ahead, Lumiere," Licht said. "I've kept Tetia waiting long enough,"
"Sure," Lumiere said.
"To have seen a future we and Kazuya wished for and the possibilities that come with it... I couldn't have been more happier,"
"Yeah,"
"The one inside my body, isn't he your...?" Yuno asked.
Licht gave him a gentle smile.
"Thanks to you, I was able to fight along my son. Thank you, four-leaf clover boy of the future. I wish the best of luck!"
"This grimoire, isn't it yours?" Asta said, handing it to him.
However, Licht didn't take it.
"That grimoire is now yours. Please, let it accompany you on the road you travel on now,"
"Goodbye... Licht," Yoshiko said with a small smile.
"Yes, goodbye, Yoshiko... until we meet again," Licht said, giving her a hug.
Yoshiko hugged him back until she left the soul leave the body. Then she let go and waved at the elves. They all waved back to her.
"Thank you... Magic Knights of the present Clover Kingdom!"
Everyone watched them quietly but Rades who gritted his teeth.
'No, no, no! Hang on... wait just a second!' He thought, opening his grimoire.

Everyone looked back at Rades as he used his spell.

The artificial body of Licht suddenly had a soul. Yoshiko first thought it was Licht but when she smelled light magic...

"I swear I will kill him," Asgorath said, lighting his hand with blue flames.
"No, stop!" Yoshiko said, grabbing the arm.
"This is... reincarnation?! No, straight revival?!" Patri asked, looking at his hands.
"That body was originally a reproduction of yours that Sally had created... So I figured it worked perfectly on you!" Rades said.
"Wh-what are you going on about?!" Asta asked.
"Shut up! Shut up! I... I don't really know either, goddammit!" Rades shouted.
"So why did you do it if you don't know what you're doing?" Asgorath asked.
"Yeah," Yoshiko asked, next to him but Rades ignored the two.
"Anyway, Licht... I mean, Patri, right?!" Rades asked. "I can't just let you disappear like this... happily ever after and you're gone! No way! I...I'll never forgive you! Live... forever think about all the lives of the humans you trampled upon. Think about me!"
"You just boomeranged that into being about about you at the end there!" Asta shouted.
"You let your pathetic self be trampled upon. Patri had nothing to do with this," Asgorath said.
"Shut up!" Rades shouted at the two.
"Rades... I feel as though I should thank you... you've given me a chance to atone for what I've done," Patri said.
"Pretty sure you would have been executed..." Asgorath said.
"Shut up...! I swear I'm going to kill you some day...! Just you wait!! I'm not letting you die an easy painless death! Spend the rest of your life shaking and trembling in fear! Let's go, Valtos,"
"Asta... shoe," Yoshiko said.
Asta took off his shoe and handed it to Yoshiko. Instead of throwing it at Rades, Yoshiko proceeded to beat him with it. Everyone but Mereoleona and Yami watched in horror.
"Hahaha! Atta girl, mini crazy lady!" Yami shouted.
Rhya sighed as he, Fana and Vetto approached Patri.
"So in the end, you're going to miss out on going with Licht as well now... What a little troublemaker, that guy, seriously..." Rhya said.
"Rhya..." Patri stared but became a little dizzy.
He started to fall down but he was caught by William.
"I never thought the day came where we'd be able to touch one another like this," William said.
"William...!" Patri said.
"We, who shoulder the very same sins... my most dearest of friends... I had so much I wanted to say to you..." William said.
William then turned to Yoshiko who was hiding behind Asgorath and Yuno.
"Yoshiko... I apologize for everything I've put you through... I want to formally apologize so... I know it's selfish but when you feel comfortable with speaking to me again... will you come visit me in my office?" He asked.
"I will," Yoshiko nodded.
"Thank you," William said. He then turned to Yami and Ryuko. "I'm sorry, I know this also selfish of me to ask, Ryuko, Yami but please, I want you to take us to Lord Julius,"
"Fine," Yami said.
"Sure..." Ryuko said.
"What... happen..ed...?" Yoshiko asked Asta.
"The Wizard King... he died," Asta told her.
Yoshiko's eyes widened.
