we put our hands on the backside of the car and gave it a push..no use..Rima kicked it
"Thud" A loud sound was heard..The hood was still open and it fell due to the jerk. I didn't call Rima a jerk..the literal meaning of jerk.
"Ohh My poor, dear Audi!!..Rima that's it please don't hurt my Audi"
I knew when Rima is around my car's life is in danger.
"ok I will take care this time"
"This time??" What she meant by this time?? No experimenting on my car.
She looked at me and ran back
"Rima..wait" I shouted as she was out of sight..My voice echoed. I mean sometimes she does such things that one would want to bang his head on a barbed wire.
"Rimaaa...aa??" She came running and hit the car. I jumped a little. Suprisingly the car moved a little but still its an Audi.
"Oww my wrists" She whimpered and sat down leaning on the car
"see..I told you..but your stubborn attitude is what you care more for..now show" I crouched beside her taking her hands in mine..
"ouch..." she made a weird face as I turned her wrists
"stop causing problems for me virat" She yelled
"I do??"
She nodded
"What problems did I cause??"
"you are on the verge of breaking my wrist and ask what problems would you cause??"
I laughed at this...she too.
"What was the need of running like usain bolt and hitting the car??"
"How do we get home then??" She said in an obvious tone
"lets walk home"
"And you think no one would try to posses your Audi??" She said chuckling
"Isn't this road very known to you and very less known to others??" I said imitating her chuckle
"Yeah so lets go!!" I got up and offered my hand to pull her up..she gladly took that..I was about to pull
"AAAAHooouch" she yelled and I left her
"I think you have sprained both of your wrists"
She nodded
I pulled her by her shoulder. At the same time it started pouring.
"I think its a bad idea to walk home" I smiled
"Yeah" she nodded
We quickly entered the car. We got to the back seat as it as more space. She stretched herself and looked at me. Just looked at me.I kept rubbing my water off me feeling her stare..I wanted to see how much she checks me out so I acted Oblivious of her stare.It was then I was purely sure that she was in love with me too..her care for me..her liking for hanging out with me..she not accepting as her bro...she supporting me always and the love in her eyes when I could not resist myself much and looked at her..Okay I am so cheesy that even Mozerella will be jealous of me..I admit that.
She looked into my eyes for a second or two and looked away. Aaah little typical Tomboy.
All these weeks were so much fun...but am not free..Next Sunday we will be leaving for Chennai for the ODI Series between India, South Africa and New zealand. This time We are the hosts after the just gone series. My schedule was packed. I sighed.
Rima had already slept leaning on the window. I pulled wrist and interlinked my fingers with hers. I placed her hand on my cheek and scooted closer to her. " I know you Love me and just need to realize it, Just need to Ditch your Tomboy rules for once. I take the pledge that I will make you realize you love me..I will not confess till that and make sure we are destined to be together." I whispered to her even if I knew she wasn't hearing. I Lightly placed her hand on her lap and slept, involuntarily putting my head on her shoulder.

I woke up due to a jolt and found the car to be moving....It was dark..I looked at my watch and saw it was 4:13 am. The atmosphere was uncanny..The car was moving on its own...No driver on the seat...No Rima pushing the car and no Rima beside me. I was scared..Beads of sweat started forming on my forehead. A little ahead I could see two little red lights.
"Rii..maaa" I managed to croak out.
"Calling me??" A voice rung
Rima head popped upside down on my window.
I screamed
"Whoa dude chill!!! I didn't mean to scare you"
I still couldn't speak a word. She sensed that and rolled her eyes.
"Look Virat..late at night due to heavy downpour and thunder my eyes opened and a person was mending his Truck's tyre's puncture nearby in that rain..and i offered him a little help and he asked if he could do something in return for me. So I urged him to tow our car to our house so he took out a rope and rest you know how the car is being pulled." she finished
oh that were the red lights
"I was all soaking and that would have not only made your car seat ruin but also awakened you so I chose to be seated on the car roof and moreover I wanted to do that since when." She chuckled
I couldn't blink my eyes and my mouth was open.
"Virat!! Back.To.Earth"
"Here we are" she screamed as the truck stopped
She went and thanked the driver...I hopped out and inhaled the petrichor..the mud was so sweet...more sweeter than any other scent. I felt a light tap on my shoulder.I turned my head.
"So you just wanna just keep gaping like that at the fresh environment or coming with me inside to have some hot soup??"
Before I could speak anything else she pulled me in and once inside she threw a towel at me.
"Dry yourself, I 'll be back"
"But Rima!! you know naa I am having a tour next week and its just few days before I go..so in order to lessen the chaos I will be packing now"
"ohh yah then also wait!!" she vanished. I sighed and stared wiping my head.
"Here you go" she said handing me a bottle of some beverage looking like lemon tea..dark lemon tea. Herbal maybe. I started opening the top.
"Viraaaaat" she yelled
"what"
"its diesel, actually I have a good stock of them"
She went Rolling on the floor laughing and I just stared wanting to hit myself. She gathered herself and handed me a flask.
"Hot sweet corn soup for a hot tempered sweet guy like you" She smiled
This girl surely knew how to mesmerise me. The care of hers for me, she kept proving she loved me. I smiled back and was about to go when my very best friend Raina with Gayathri entered.
I gave him a fake smile.
"We came to hank you" He said
" Your welcome" I said and moved
"Wait bro what is that??" He stopped me, took the flask and opened it.
"mmm..the aroma is so nice"He said
oh dear this foodie, don't cast your eyes on that, its mine. I thought.
"want some?? I will bring the bowls" Rima said
No..you made it for me Rima. Thoughts rang again.
She came with the bowls.
"Rima I think I should move"
"No bro sit naa" Raina said
"Guys let him move, he's all wet and may catch a cold and moreover he has to pack" She said all concern laced in her voice. Aww my sweet little Tomboy, But seriously my soup.
I moved to my car and fed it with diesel. I went inside and brethed heavely. That Raina, he always got chances to come in-between my 'Beautiful' moments and today took my soup. I swept my hand over my wet hair and turned the key, it didn't start..oh bloody rain. I turned again.
I felt a gentle tap on my window. I lowered it revealing a smiling Rima.
"There you go!!!!!!" she handed me another flask
"what??"
"Virat??did you slip while coming here???hit your head?? developed amnesia??Its sweet corn soup" she said in a sweet sarcastic tone
"You made more??so fast??"
"No dude...its my part..you have it..I will be happy if you do and I will make myself some more" She smiled lightly shooting her eyes into mine with pure love reflecting in them.
RIMA
I don't know why I loose so much control on myself when am with virat. I end up doing all those things which I usually don't do. One glance at his eyes and I never want to tear my eyes of his eyes. I did it very well in the beginning..but now am all so messed up. Why don't I feel like moving away when I find him too close??Why am a losing the controlling power I had?? Why he keeps revolving in my mind?? Why all my articles are just hits while his is ever in demand??.
"Rima??" Gayathri said
I realized it had been a while since I bid goodbye to virat and was sitting on the stairs
"Yeah??"
"Come..come in, don't get so wet"
I went and spent a little time with Gayathri after Raina went and then dropped Gayathri to her house sat down to complete my articles. Once I completed all my three articles on Barcelona, Formula 1 and upcoming series I gave a glance at the clock. 6:45. Virat's thought came to my mind. I always loved to make him smile. So I thought to surprise him.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hey guys..sorry I know am a little ate and you got to know that now the updates will be slow maybe once in a week or two weeks. Well now now just tell me how this story is going on..Isn't slow sweet developing romance is better that fast sudden developed already Romance..well I like this..this way or maybe my tomboy instincts that wanted me to dodge romance shape it up this way...Please my voracious werewolves..vote for me and comment and reccommend and why not heart???
