It's actually been a while since me and Douma san are friends. I had to tell everyone that me and Douma san are friends since there are some people who think we are a couple. Well, at least people are less mean to me...it's sad when if you have a connection with a popular boy, you get treated properly and if you're a nobody they will treat you like dirt. It's sad to think that that's the world we live in, but what can I do? But speaking of Douma san, I see him and I think he is waiting for me again.
"Douma san? I thought you student councils have a lot of work? How come you are waiting for me again?" You asked curiously as he smiled. "Eh? There is nothing wrong with waiting for my friends, right? so , I am more than happy to wait for you every morning!" He exclaimed happily as he pulled you in a hug. "Oh, that's really nice of you, Douma san but I don't want to hold you back from your duties since I could tell being a council member is hard." You asked worriedly as he just chuckled at that. "Don't worry, Y/n chan! I can balance both! Those duties can wait until later since you are more important than them!" You sighed and nodded at what he said. "Oh, if you say so, Douma san, I'll respect your decisions. So, do you want to go to class right now?" You asked him as he agreed. "Sure! I mean, class is starting soon! We don't want the teacher to go crazy, don't we?" You cracked a smile as he noticed that and always gave you a warm smile. "I love that smile...please keep that smile up, it's really beautiful." Your eyes widened as you blushed slightly. "I-I should get going, Douma san...nice talking to you." You waved goodbye to him as he did too.
Walking in the halls ways (Y/n POV)
I can't believe I smiled after a long time since it's been so long since I last did that but either way, it feels good to feel a little happiness in my heart. *Sigh* If only I was not afraid to love again, I would probably be Douma san's girlfriend by now...but instead, I wasted my chance and rejected him because I'm so afraid that Douma san will turn out like my ex boyfriend. I feel like Douma san is a good person and will take care of me but my idiot self just does not trust him that much. I was just talking to myself but as I was doing that, I bumped into someone.
"Hey! Can you watch where you're going?! Do you have eyes or are you just plain blind?!"
You gulped and looked up at it was Hakuji, one of the student councils. He looked surprised that it was a girl and immediately realized his mistake. "Y/n?! Is that you?! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you! I thought you were a boy since your hood is up! I'm terribly sorry!" He looked sad as you just told him it's okay. "Actually, Y/n? You're actually late for your class. I'm sorry but just because you're a girl does not mean I'll let you be late since I don't want the teacher to yell at you so, run along."
You nodded but as you he was about to leave you tapped his shoulder. "Wait, Hakuji? Can you tell Koyuki chan that I said hello? I have not seen her for a while." He smiled at you and nodded. "Yes, I'll tell her when I see her. Thank you for remembering her." You nodded as he turned around to leave as you did too. But, it did not go too well with the teacher. When you entered the classroom, the teacher got angry at you and embarrassed you in front of everyone but made you sit down anyway.
Man...why do teachers have to be a pain in the butt...I wish they were more understanding towards their students...
Timeskip to lunch:
I was just walking down the hallway as I felt a hand on me. "Y/n chan, hello! That was a 3 hour long class and I was hoping I would get to see you after those boring subjects!" He exclaimed happily as you just nodded. "Yeah...I'm pretty much hungry after thinking and using my brain a lot on those subjects." You spoke in a soft tone as Douma laughed. "Yeah, math is pretty hard, am I right, Y/n chan? From what I know, not many people are fans of math so it's pretty understandable that you would get hungry." You agreed as both of you started walking to the cafeteria but people kept whispering while both of you passed by them.
-"They are definitely lying! They are definitely a couple and there is no way they keep denying it!"
-"I know right!? If I was Y/n, I would probably brag to everyone that I have a boyfriend that is handsome and charismatic like Douma sama!"
-"I don't know if this girl is just being humble or wanting attention! Since if she does not want to admit it then she just wants the attention!"
-"She should just kill herself. I think Douma sama deserves someone better than a depressed boring girl. He deserves someone like me, not her!"
I thought I told that brat specifically to stay away from him...but I guess she did not listen so I shall create another rumor that will destroy her again.
Time-skip to after school:
"Hey, Y/n? Can I talk to you for a minute?" Hakuji asked you as you were curious what he wanted. "Yes, what is it, Hakuji san? Is there a problem? Did I do something wrong...?" You asked nervously as he shook his head. "No, actually, you did something very good to Douma. You know how Douma is kinda like my friend now after how I've seen how he made Koyuki happier." Hakuji stated as you looked like you were about to smile but nodded. "I feel like you should give him a chance since the days he spends with you are always his happiest days and I don't want his smile to fade. I think he is really serious about you, so, please..." You were shocked by Hakuji admitting that Douma was his friend. But, you kinda felt he was right, Douma is a nice guy and he looked like he was really serious about you. "Is that so, Hakuji san? Maybe I should give him a chance...it's been months since we are hanging out, so, I guess I trust him well enough." Hakuji smiled as you did too which made him stunned. "So, you finally admit that Douma is your friend, Hakuji san~? I never thought, not even a million years ago, that I'd hear you admit that Douma is your friend~" You giggled as he just blushed and furrowed his brow. "You're lucky you're a girl because if you were a guy...I would pretty much punch you right now." You rolled your eyes and turned to leave. "You know, Y/n...I love seeing your smile, please keep it up." You turned around to see Hakuji smiling at you as you just nodded and turned around to leave.
No, you were not heading home, you were heading to the student council office, Douma's office to be exact. You stopped in front of the door. You then sighed first before knocking on Douma's door. He told you to come in and he did not expect you to be in his office at this hour.
"Y/n? What are you doing here? Is there anything I can help you with?" He asked curiously with a warm smile on his face. You walked towards him and kissed him on the lips which made him shocked
but kissed you back. A few minutes later, you pulled away and you were a blushing mess. "Y/n chan?! I thought you said you were not ready to be in a relationship since you are still recovering from your last relationship?!" He said in a panic voice as you gave him a smile. "Well, I think I've already healed from that relationship and I'm ready to form another one with you, Douma san." You said with a smile as he was shocked and kept blushing.
You then kissed him again which made him blushed even more. "𝓘 𝓹𝓻𝓸𝓶𝓲𝓼𝓮 𝓘'𝓵𝓵 𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓮𝓵𝓭 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓯𝓻𝓸𝓶 𝔀𝓱𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓱𝓾𝓻𝓽𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾...𝓫𝓮𝓬𝓪𝓾𝓼𝓮 𝓘 𝓹𝓻𝓸𝓶𝓲𝓼𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓫𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓼 𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻...." He spoke in a loving manner as you had a slight blush on your cheeks. "Well then, Douma san, see you tomorrow! And I'm fine with the idea that we are a couple so you can tell everyone that if you want." You exclaimed happily as you left the office with Douma blushing.
"She kissed me...I can't believe she did that...now that we are a couple I must protect her and make sure no one takes her away from me."
My new life is actually really good. Me and Douma san are known for being the golden couple. Hakuji looks happy for us, even Koyuki chan too. People are still hating me because they thought I was a liar more since now we announced we are a couple but I don't mind them. I realized that being with Douma san cured my loneliness and sadness and I wish we could stay that way forever.
