Sorry for the super late update!!! Nag adjust ako sa new school ko eh :) well, i got better grades, so I'm back! 😁😁
Chapter 25: Kinikilig ka ba?
After lunch kami nagstart ng mga activities namin. Hindi muna kami pinaglibot sa Tagaytay bc madami pa naman daw na time for that tomorrow. Mga team buildings muna ginawa namin. Para daw maging close and strong ang section namin. Syempre, it was hosted by my beloved boyfriend!!
Nakacivilian na siya ngayon, so mukha siyang teenager lang din. Mas nakakainlove talaga lalo. I know na everyday ko naman siyang nakikita na nakacivilian or pangbahay pa nga eh. Iba lang talaga yung feels bc may kasama kaming iba na kilala siya as a teacher. Iba ang aura niya.
"Let's start our program with a simple prayer. And I want Ms. De Guzman to lead it," sabi niya and our classmates gave me those kilig looks.
Ito talagang boyfriend ko, yie kinilig ako sa tawag ko sa kanya hahaha, gustong gusto na inaasar kaming dalawa eh. Pinagbibigyan nya feels ng mga kaklase ko eh.
I offered a short prayer. After that, my classmates are looking at me as if they were saying, 'Kinikilig ka ba?' So I believe that they're really our shippers. Well, student-teacher relationship are famous nowadays but only in stories and movies. I still think it's not accepted in the eyes of the others.
"Well, I prepared a program for this day. Don't worry, it won't be too old school and boring. We are doing this to get to know each other more. To build bonds with everybody. For our section to be as one," he stated our goal for this day.
"I prepared here colored papers, please get one each," he said and waited for everyone to settle in their seat with one sheet of paper each.
"Write your nickname at the top, please make it a bit big so that everyone would see your name. I also have prepared one for me, this is how we'll do it. We'll be doing 'How others see me'. Everyone would sit on the floor forming a big circle. Then we pass our paper to the left, whomever paper your holding, you need to write at least two words that comes to your mind when you see/hear his/her name or may what's he/she's like?" he explained the first activity. "Is that clear? No jumping on other paper, okay? You can only write for about 15 seconds, after that you'll need to pass. Then after one rotation, I'll read in front two random comments you'll receive. And before I forget, you can write anonymously."
The class began to be noisy, they suit theirselves in their desired seat on the floor. We made quite huge circle, considering that our class is consisted of 50 students. You can see that everybody's excited about the said activity.
"Okay, are you all set? 1, 2, 3 pass it to the left," Jake officially started the activity. Guess where am I seated...
Yeah, I'm seated right next to Jake. In his left side, to be exact. So I'll be the first one to write in his paper. He gave me a playful smile, he's liking this.
"12.....13....14."
Caring. Understanding. Loving. 🍓 I wrote that at the very bottom part of his paper. I tried to write it in my smallest possible handwriting. I know this would cause more issue but I don't know what to write. Considering, the time pressure and all.
"15, pass it to the left, finish or not," Jake announced.
I received the second paper, it was Andrea's. I started by reading what Jake wrote for her. Intelligent and hardworking student. Keep up the good work! 🙂
He sounded what a teacher would write, well he's a teacher. I smiled at that thought, there's nothing to be jealous about this. I know Jake is somewhat professional when it comes to this. He's a cool teacher but he still sets his limits in this kind of event.
Gratefully, hindi napansin nung katabi ko yung sinulat ko about kay Jake. Well, hindi naman kasi si May katabi ko eh. She's sitting beside Maffy, ang landi lang niya talaga. But surprisingly, it's a good thing she's far. Hindi niya ako matukso kay Jake, baka madulas pa yung babaeng yun.
Sinulat ko ang naoobserve ko kay Andrea. Well, you all know na I'm not sociable kaya hindi kami close nitong si Andrea. We only talk when we need something from each other.
15 minutes had passed, almost near na sa one rotation. After my message or comment, I draw a strawberry instead of putting my name. I hope they'll realize it's me.
I'm holding Mayree's paper. I had too much to write that I don't know where to start. Of course, Mayree's a sister to me. She knows me too well and we shared a lot of experience and stuff.
A sister I never had. 🍓 That's what I wrote. A single sentence but meant a lot. I hope she feels the same.
Next is Maffy's. His paper is full of doodles. It's almost full. You can see positive comments about him, mayroon ding mga biro biro about sa kanya. You can literally tell that he's a friendly guy. He's fun to be with, I admit. Maybe I'm annoyed with him because he can express himself freely unlike me. I'm shy and reserve. Maybe I'm just jealous.
I just wrote, Annoying but cool guy. 🍓 i don't know what to write, I don't want to sound so bitter there. I will stand out because the comments are all positive traits of him.
After few more rounds, I got my paper back. I was quite surprised that it was full. Considering that we don't talk much, they had a lot to say about me.
I had a quick scan, and fortunately, all I'd read was positive comments. It made me happy :) I tried searching for Jake's handwriting when he called for our attention.
"Please pass your papers to Ms. De Guzman here, it's time for me to read some of the comments. Don't worry, I would give this back later," he said.
Dahil excited ang mga classmates ko, pinasa nila ito agad sa akin. Nag uunahan pa sila, they're curious with what others may think of them. After ko makuha lahat, I passed it to Jake.
Shinuffle muna ni Jake yung papers bago magsalita. "The first paper is mine. Curious din ako about sa mga nilagay niyo here, kaya let's read mine first," sabi niya which gained laughs from us. Aba aba, may gusto lang siyang basahin doon eh.
"Hmmm.. Bakit ganito pinagsusulat niyo dito? Hahaha," sabi niya. He sound so young nung sinabi niya yan. Parang he's talking to his friends/collegue.
"Ano ba mga nakalagay sir?" Tanong ng isa kong classmate.
"This is one, 'Sir, ang gwapo niyo po, pls wag na kayong ngumiti masyado. Di kami makapagfocus sa pag aaral' from anonymous student. I don't know how to reply on this but I'll try to not smile," sabi niya. Tapos nagpilit syang wag ngumiti. Nagpigil din ng mga feels yung mga classmate ko sa ginawa ni Jake.

"Ito ang last, from an anonymous student din to. 'Caring. Understanding. Loving.'" sabi nya while nakatingin sa akin. Alam niya na ako nagsulat! Sobrang liit ko na nga sinulat but nakita niya pa din. "That's what he/she wrote. As of what I read, ito lang ang matinong nakasulat dito, no offense class ah," he joked.
"Nako sir, baka si Berry nagsulat niyan eh, may 'loving' eh," pagtukso ni May. Hindi niya talaga ako titigilan sa kakatukso sa akin. Nagsitinginan tuloy lahat sa akin. I know na ako talaga nagsulat noon, but I just can't admit it.
Naghanap ako ng ibang matitignan bc nakakaintimidate mga looks na binibigay nila sa akin. Napadaan ang tingin ko kay Maffy. May iba sa tingin nya, hindi tulad nung iba kong mga kaklase na kinikilig ang itsura. Kanya, parang badtrip na galit. Idk bakit ganoon, maybe worried lang siya na malaman ng lahat ang about sa amin ni Jake.
Yun lang naman di ba?
