"Ow mommy!" Nessa squealed,
"Sorry babe but you can't have your hair looking terrible,my baby is the cutest baby ever" I said in a baby voice,she smiled while playing with her little bear that her uncle Mason got her
Today was my baby's birthday,she's getting big on me and soon she's gonna have to go into school which is gonna be an emotional day for me.
Footsteps was heard coming into the room,I moved my eyes up seeing miguel. "Hey mis princesas" he said as I smiled
"I thought I was your queen" I said as I focused on Vanessa's hair,Miguel lightly smirked
"Yeah you're right,sorry mami"
"Is Auntie Taty here?" Nessa asked,I chuckled
"Yes baby and Auntie Maddy is on her way too,she wouldn't want to miss her best friend's birthday party" I told her as she smiled
"Yeah and uncle Mason,uncle Tristan and uncle brady then grandma wendy-
"Basically everyone and their mother" I said interrupting miguel who laughed getting nessa to laugh since she likes to be like her dad. "Okay you're done"
"Wow my daughter looks grown and who said you can look grown huh?" Miguel said placing his hands on his hips as Vanessa giggled,
"I'm grown" nessa said widening her eyes at miguel who then did the same to match her attitude,
"Oh really? You gonna get smart with me?" Miguel mocked as I watched through the mirror since I was making sure my hair was not frizzy. "You do not wanna talk to me like that" Miguel said playing with her
"Watch how you speak to my child" I said now looking at him,
"Yeah!" Nessa said making me grin,miguel scoffed
"Of course women stick together,my apologies" he said now going back to his normal self, "let's see if you keep that energy tonight" he lowered his voice while making eye contact
"Miguel you have alcohol in this house?!" Brady shouted,of course the alcoholic of the group is asking that.
"Is he dumb? Go tell him to drink water" I told miguel,he nodded before immediately going downstairs to talk to him.
I was hoping for nessa to not ask me what was alcohol and luckily she didn't since I've been teaching her when it's time for her to mind her business.
"Okay baby,you look so beautiful" I squealed making her smile,I kissed her chubby cheeks before picking her up and taking her downstairs.
"You beautiful mommy" she mumbled,I pouted my lips as she played with my new necklace that I'm now wearing,the one her father gave me back in highschool.
Miguel and I decided to go to my home tomorrow to grab my things as my sister moves in, "look" I told her as she gasped seeing all her uncles and aunt.
"Hi princess!" Taty shouted while clapping her hands as Mason had his arm over her shoulder as he smiled at his niece
"Hey birthday girl" Tristan said who was sitting on the couch, "we have presents for you that we know you will love"
I placed her down on the floor so she can walk,of course she walked to Taty and Mason first.Her favorite duo,Taty picked her up before kissing her and leaving her lipstick mark on her chubby cheek as usual
"Oh my god,you look like a princess" Taty spoke to her as she looked at her in awe,I dressed nessa up in a pretty puffy dress with her tiara that her grandma wendy got her.
Brady walked out the kitchen with Miguel, "oh the birthday girl" Brady said as miguel smiled at his daughter.
"Okay presents later,let's head out the backyard-
The door bell rang,I walked to the door before pulling it open revealing Alexandra and my parents. "Grandma Rosa!" Nessa yelled as Taty placed her back down
My mom gave me a kiss on the cheek with hers before rushing to nessa,my dad gave me a kiss on the cheek before walking in. "Hey perra" my sister greeted me
"Hey to you too slut" I said to her as we laughed and she gave me a side hug,she walked in as I shut the door seeing my mom holding nessa in her arms as she greets her other blood aunt and grandpa
I looked over at miguel and waved me over,I walked past the guests as I got closer to miguel. "Yeah?" I asked him
"Hey baby" he said with a grin,i furrowed my eyebrows but still giving him a light smile to match his energy.
"Hi babe,what happened?"
"Nothing,you just look yummy right now" he said shrugging his shoulders making me chuckle even though my face was getting hot
"Thanks baby but maybe you can eat me later,for now eat real food" I said as he groaned,
"Mikey" my dad said walking in getting miguel to change his facial expression to serious,they gave each other a hand shake "I hope you're gonna get drunk with me tonight"
"Um no,not on your granddaughter's birthday" I told him,he sighed "or I'm gonna tell ma and you know she'll check you"
"You just love to be the pain in my ass" my dad says as miguel laughed, "okay fine but at least one beer"
"That's fine,I'll get you one" miguel said patting his shoulder,my dad nodded giving him a smirk before going back to my mother
I look over seeing Taty and Alex being kinda awkward since they used to hook up,Alex noticed mason looking at Taty in a lovable way.She took that as a sign that they're together
Not only that,brady was in the room..another person she hooked up with but only once.I know Alex only came for her niece and me so she's gonna try to be an adult
We all made our way to the backyard that had a table decorated in pink and purple for nessa since those two were her favorite colors for now,
Miguel placed out chairs for the guests to sit on as my dad brought in his speaker for music,my dad was always the DJ.
My dad started turning up his Spanish music,Everyone started having their own conversation as miguel decided to open up the grill with my dad.
I walked over to Taty and Mason as they were playing with nessa, "hey girl" Taty said looking up at me "don't you look sexy for your daughter's day?"
I chuckled before giving her a big smile "thanks,I gotta remind people that she came outta me" I said as Taty snapped her fingers
"Oh god" Mason said while shaking his head
"I know that's right" Taty spoke, "everything looks so pretty for nessa it's like yesterday when you brought her to my house so I can see her for the first time"
I looked up at my dad and Miguel,miguel got off the phone like he was on the phone call before rushing back inside.
I was confused on who he was talking to? But those thoughts went away when Wendy and his father came outside behind miguel with the cake.
I smiled as Wendy noticed me first and smiled, "niña!" She shouted as she placed the cake on the table before sprinting over to me.I opened my arms for her,
She jumped into my arms as she squeezed me tightly, "I missed you so much-Vez hermosa" she said pulling away but still keeping her hands on my shoulders
"Aw thank you ma,you look gorgeous" I told her,she smiled as she realized there's other people here.She cleared her throat before walking to my mom
They gave each other a cheek kiss as they chat for a bit as Miguel's dad went to mine,A good Spanish song came on so my parents took that chance to dance
My parents adored dancing and my mother taught my sister and I to make sure we aren't stiff,
I watched my parents dance as my mom started laughing since my dad was dancing with so much passion while singing the lyrics.
The corner of my eye,I saw miguel walking up to me.I looked at him as he reached his hand out "come on,dance with me" my eyes widen
"You know how to dance bachata?" I asked him,In our whole relationship we never danced bachata,salsa,merengue etc.
"Let me show you" he says,I placed my hand in his as I sighed.We walked over to the open space before we got in position
He had on hand on my lower back as the other was holding my hand high,We began our steps as he smiled at me.
As a pro,you don't need to look at your feet to make sure you're doing it right and that's why miguel and I were looking into each other's eyes the whole time.
As the chorus of the song came on,Miguel moved the hand that was in mine and placed it behind his neck.I put my other hand on the same spot
I put a leg between his legs as we got closer,like always my family and his cheered us on since they believe young teens are cute when they dance..
Miguel placed his forehead on mine as we moved together as I was smiling the entire time cause I had butterflies all over the place..
He lifted his head up at a bit near my ear, "relax..keep moving just like that mamita" he whispered
