I let my hand fall as I lifted my arm in the air,Taty gasped before she screamed "oh my god! You're a fiancé" she spoke
"I know! Oh my god I couldn't breathe" I said,she smiled before pulling me into a hug.
"I'm so happy for you" she spoke before pulling away,I grinned as I looked at her tummy.Her tummy started forming a tiny bump
"When are you going to the ultrasound?" I asked,
"On Wednesday,I'm nervous but I'll tell the technician to put the gender in a envelope and I'm gonna give it to you" she spoke,my eyes widen
"I'll give it to my mom and she'll host it for you cause I don't wanna know yet" I said,she laughed before she looked back at the ring
"Aw you guys are so cute,I hope everything good happens to you" she said as I looked at her in awe.
"Don't make me cry" I said as we both laughed,Mason came downstairs with Miguel.We decided to come to Mason's house so Taty didn't have to move much
I've been very easy on her cause she's carrying her kid obviously, "babe did you see the ring?" Taty asked Mason
"I know,it's been shoved in my face a few times already" he sarcastically said as he pat his hands against his legs,a little habit that he does
Miguel chuckled, "where's nessa?" I asked
"She's playing with the new toys upstairs" Mason said,Mason already started decorating the guest room into a nursery for their kid. "It's okay,she's the cousin so she's allowed"
"So are you excited for the appointment?" Miguel asked,Taty smiled
"Yes! Oh my goodness I don't care what it is as long as it looks like me then I'm okay" she spoke while rubbing her tummy,Mason gave a look
"What about me?" He says making me laugh
"Oh of course,it can look like you..you're cute" she said before winking at him as he pretend to be nervous making Miguel roll his eyes
"Please stop" miguel told him
"Sorry" Mason quickly said as he turn back to normal, "we've been thinking about baby names"
"Oh yeah! It's been so fun thinking what to name your baby" taty spoke
"Aw baby you remember when we named nessa,Vanessa?" I asked miguel,he nodded with a smile
"Yeah I remember"
FLASHBACK
I smiled watching miguel talk to my belly,we recently found out we're having a girl.My mom hosted the gender reveal and it went amazing,
"Baby do you know any names for her?" I asked him,he moved his puppy eyes onto me
"I don't know mami,I want it to be pretty though"
"Yeah me too...shoot" I said as I started thinking about random names "you know Gabriella from high school musical?"
"Yeah sorry baby no,I don't want people referring to her as that and then she thinks we're unoriginal" miguel spoke,I rolled my eyes
"Okay what about the actor,Vanessa?" I asked
"I mean it's common but Vanessa mora sounds good" he said,I nodded as he kissed my stomach "hey Vanessa..mi hermosa" he whispered melting my heart
"She has to have a nickname" he mutters "what about nessa for short?"
"I love it babe" I smiled,he smirked before gently placing his finger on the bottom of my stomach to see if she will kick or not
"I don't think she likes me" he mumbled,I scoffed
"Don't say that,she loves you" I told him,he then looked at me as I grinned gladly not staring at his beanie anymore.
"I wanna marry you someday" he said in a low tone as my face went blank "I wanna get on my knee and ask you to marry me some day with a fat ass ring"
My throat tighten as I began to tear up,the damn pregnancy hormones..
END OF FLASHBACK
"It was random but cute" miguel says as I walked over to him before hugging his torso,I felt him place a kiss on the top of my head
Mason walked over to Taty, "so your mom is gonna host the gender reveal and the baby shower?" Taty asked
"She will do it all for you..you're her third daughter" I told her,she covered her mouth
"Don't make me cry" she said,
Taty came from a broken family,her family didn't really care for her and she hated living there.They don't pay attention to anything she does-they don't even know that she's been gone
That's why she loves being with my family cause they make her feel like home,when she met me she felt safer and felt like she was being understood and that's why she called me her person..
Being friends since high school saved her cause she wanted to leave this earth so many times but our talks made her feel like she has a chance to live.
Now I know that her person is now mason,he does the same..makes her feel safe and understood,provides more than I do in many ways.
I'm glad she's able to find someone like that cause the boys in high school treated her like shit,her abusive relationships made her cold hearted.She felt like she can never be loved by a man which is why she went with my sister
But she didn't see herself being with a woman forever plus they didn't have a title,Back in high school there was a video going around of Taty having sex with some random guy she dated..someone she trusted
They were together for about seven-eight months,he sent it to his friends then his friends sent it around.She was devastated and embarrassed..humiliated
I was there for her,I didn't judge her I actually complimented her..told her that at least she looks pretty while doing it.Other girls judged her but my compliment made her stronger
Mason obviously saw the video,Miguel told me that maosn didn't care that she got exposed.He still saw her as a beautiful confident woman and it honestly helped him crave her even more,
That guy was the only guy she dated in high school and the reason why she didn't go out with anybody else for the next couple of years.
I admired watching him peck her cheek as she closed her eyes and lightly smiled,I'm glad Taty is safe with us and with someone she can truly trust...
A little backstory of Taty,I know some of the stuff is messed up but it's reality especially in high school.
