In the library, (y/n), Pyrrha, and Jaune were studying.
Jaune: I forgot the dance is coming up soon.
Pyrrha: really?
Jaune: so are you two going together?
(y/n): no.
Pyrrha: why aren't we going?
(y/n): you can go. I'm just not going.
Pyrrha: I'll rephrase. Why aren't you going?
(y/n): I don't dance. So who are you going with Jaune?
Jaune: you still need to help me with Ruby.
(y/n): shit. I almost forgot about that. How about this, tomorrow I'll help you.
Jaune: great.
Timeskip
Jaune woke up to a stage light being turned on.
Jaune: where am I?
He saw he was in his huntsman outfit and in a school desk. He looked to his right and saw Blake sitting in an identical desk.
Jaune: Blake? What are you doing here?
Blake: I could ask you the same question.
Suddenly, (y/n) walks up in front of them.
(y/n): over the last few weeks I was working with Ruby's friend, Penny to create a class that will help you two talk to Ruby.
Blake: we are all friends with Ruby. We already know how to talk to her.
(y/n): not as a friend but as a lover.
Blake: I'm getting out of here.
Blake got up and tried to leave but (y/n) shouted at her.
(y/n): sit down!
She quickly sat down in the chair.
(y/n): I didn't spend the last few weeks studying dating tips and writing different lessons just for you two to leave!
Jaune: okay we'll learn. Just please calm down.
(y/n)'s attitude quickly changed.
(y/n): perfect. So our first lesson is the introduction. Jaune you're up first.
He stands up and walks up to (y/n). He grabs a mannequin and holds it up.
(y/n): seduce me.
Jaune: what?!
(y/n): treat this mannequin like Ruby. Now seduce me!
Jaune was a little uncomfortable but started to talk to the mannequin.
Jaune: hey... Ruby? I was wondering if you would...
He was cut off by (y/n) smacking him in the face with the mannequin's hand.
(y/n): don't talk to me as a friend. Talk to me as a woman. You failed, go sit down.
He walked over to his seat and sat down.
(y/n): Blake you're next.
She stands up and walks to the mannequin.
(y/n): now remember what Jaune failed at. You need to talk to her as a woman not as a friend. Now seduce me!
Blake: fine. I'll humor this.
She got closer to it.
Blake: hey. I couldn't help but see that you didn't have someone to go to the dance with. Maybe I can help with that?
(y/n): that was perfect.
He then smacked her in the face.
Blake: what was that for?!
(y/n): nothing. I just thought that was funny.
(y/n) smiled and over the course of a few hours he taught them about Ruby's different interests, how to eat with her at a restaurant, and basic dating advice. (y/n) looks at a clipboard with his lessons on it.
(y/n): now we're skipping this lesson.
Jaune: why?
(y/n): it's about dancing but I forgot the two of us don't dance.
Blake: I've seen Ruby dance before.
(y/n): fine, I just don't dance.
Jaune: why not?
(y/n): shut up.
Pyrrha: alright I'm ready!
Pyrrha walks in wearing clothes fit for dancing.
(y/n): I choose to skip this lesson.
Pyrrha: but you asked me to help you.
She made a face at him and (y/n) sighed.
(y/n): fine you can do the dancing lesson. But I'm going to sit down.
She walks up and starts to play music while (y/n) walked to a nearby chair and sat down.
Pyrrha: alright you two ready?!
Jaune and Blake roll their eyes. (y/n) yawned and decide to take a short nap. After an hour Pyrrha woke him up.
Pyrrha: we're done.
(y/n): good.
He got up and stretched.
(y/n): so how did they do?
Pyrrha: they did well. Right now they're resting.
(y/n): thanks for the help.
Pyrrha: there's a question I have.
(y/n): what is it?
Pyrrha: why don't you dance?
(y/n): I don't want to talk about it.
Pyrrha: I'm your girlfriend. You can tell me anything.
(y/n): trust me. You don't want to know.
Pyrrha: fine.
(y/n) leaves to go find Jaune and Blake.
Jaune: are we almost done?
(y/n): yes.
Jaune: finally.
(y/n): in fact we're at the final exam
Blake: so what is it?
(y/n): only one of you can date Ruby so you two need to fight each other.
Jaune & Blake: what?!
(y/n): now follow me.
He takes them back to their classroom. The two sit down in the desks.
(y/n): this will be an oral exam. You need to answer the best you can and Penny here will evaluate your answers. Whoever has the highest score will...
Jaune: wait why do we need this class?
Blake: yeah. I don't even like Ruby like that.
(y/n): wait you don't?
Blake: no!
Jaune: I'm done with this.
He stands up and leaves the room with Blake following.
Penny: so...
(y/n): let's see how this plays out.
After Jaune and Blake left the room, Jaune bumped into Ruby.
Ruby: oh hey Jaune. Where were you? Went to your team's dorm to ask if you wanted to get breakfast with me and saw you weren't there.
Jaune: I was doing something with Blake and (y/n).
Ruby: oh. What were you doing?
Jaune: nothing of note just studying. Hey I was wondering, do you have anyone to go to the dance with?
Ruby: no. Not at the moment . Why do you ask?
Jaune: because I wanted to know if you would like to go with me?
She was taken back by Jaune's proposal.
Ruby: yes I will go with you.
Jaune: really?
Ruby: yes.
I'm the distance (y/n) and Penny were watching in the distance.
Penny: what was the first thing I told you when you asked for my help?
(y/n): shut up. I had fun doing it.
She walks away and (y/n) walks to Jaune.
(y/n): I taught you well.
Jaune: you didn't teach me anything!
(y/n): I taught you the most important thing. Forget everything you have been taught.
Jaune rolled his eyes.
Jaune: are you disappointed that I didn't use your stupid techniques?
(y/n): a little. But you did do one thing.
Jaune: that being?
(y/n): you made me go to the dance.
Jaune: why did that make you want to go?
(y/n): I want to see how well you will do.
Jaune: thanks.
(y/n): no problem. Hey you hungry?
Jaune: a little.
(y/n): good because I was going to get breakfast.
Jaune: where are you going?
(y/n): there's this diner that I heard was really good.

The two left the restaurant and started to walk back to the dorm.
Jaune: man that was good.
(y/n): I know. But I wonder why my dad's picture was on the wall?
Jaune: hey do you have anything to wear for the dance?
(y/n): I used to have a suit but it got damaged really badly.
Jaune: well I don't have one either so...
(y/n): fine let's go get one but you're paying for your own suit.
They changed direction and went to a thrift store.
Jaune: why are we at a thrift store?
(y/n): don't knock them. This place is where I got my old suit.
They walked in and went to the clothing rack. While Jaune was looking for his clothes, (y/n) grabbed a red dress shirt and blue suit pants.
(y/n): well I'm gonna go pay.
Jaune: you're not going to get the suit jacket?
(y/n): I was going to wear the coat with my huntsman outfit. After I pay, I'm going back to the dorm.
He paid for the clothes and left the store.
