Music Up Top: 404 - (K)NoW_NAME

Sasaki Kojiro time-

Oh, since this book will be following the Nier Automata storyline, and Chen is a Scanner... I'm kinda thinking about something when this book reaches Route C-

Tbh I'm not too sure of what'll be done by that time, but we'll get there soon enough-

Not proof read-

Finished on June 30th.

6,384 words.

- A God has fallen to Humanity ... -

In the face of that inconceivable reality...

Every God within the stands were completely quiet at what had happened.

They were completely speechless.

Ares could only stare in disbelief.
Shiva was frozen, his eyes wide as he stared at Poseidon's corpse.
Aphrodite could feel the frown flooding her face.

The Gods... silently gazed down.

Loki's expression had shifted to one of grim disbelief.
Hermes' own face had darkened and overshadowed.
Odin slowly tilted his head back while Huginn and Muninn stayed silent.

Their sights had turned to Kojiro, who had stared up at the sky with a faint smile over his face.

Poseidon's corpse had started to crack into green shards before shattering into the sky.

The swordsman had watched the remains of the blond that had disappeared into the sky.

"Who... could have foreseen this...? Finally... In the third battle of Ragnarok... Humanity has stolen victory from the grasp of the Gods!!"

Humans had cheered for his win, as the Gods had hung their heads from the dishonor.

"Y-You're fucking kidding me..."
"Poseidon has really..."
"How... How could this happen?"

"Yes... Yes..." Göll smiled. She had then screamed along with Humanity, cheering while Kojiro had gently bowed towards the swordsmen he had went against in the past.

The male had then softly sighed. "So damn loud..." He mumbled, chuckling while he gently scratched the side of his face. "It's my very first win.... Can't you let it soak in a little first...?" Yet, his words had went unheard by Humanity, who had continued to cheer.

(... O Gods... Feast your eyes... This... is Humanity's potential!! -Brunhilde)

"... No way..." Muninn muttered.
"A God really lost to a-" Huginn was cut off when Odin had crushed the arm of his chair.
The two crows looked at him with concern, but also knowledge of why he was like this.

"Aww man..." Loki muttered, ruffling his hair repeatedly. "This... is a real shitty excuse for a joke..." He mumbled.

(Y/n) softly turned to the entrance of the area, now leaving as Adam looked towards them, still smiling softly. Chen had kept cheering, with Lü Bu looking back at them.

A walkway had then formed into the tunnel. "I gotta walk back, eh...? Guess it's better than nothing, though..." He sighed, slowly falling back. "That one really... took its toll on me..." He released his grip on his blade, allowing for it to return to its normal form. "Kojiro... Keep it together!" Hrist called out, catching him. "Are you alright?" She softly questioned. Kojiro softly grinned. "Yeah... Looks like I gotta rely on you for everything, Miss Monohoshizao..." He chuckled.

"Sister Hrist!!" Göll called out with relief.

"Do ya gotta squeal about every fuckin thing?!" She yelled, leaving Kojiro in slight shock before he had rested against her with a sigh. "I told ya before, Göll. That we'd get back for everything." Hrist smirked as she gave the Valkyrie a thumbs up. "Yes!!" She replied.

(I'm so glad... she's the same as ever... That she's alright... -Göll)

"With this... Humanity has beaten the Gods, right?" Göll then looked back at the Valkyrie. "... Göll..." Randgriz's smile seemed to slightly disappear. "Huh...?" She looked back at her elder sister. "Not yet." Reginleif walked down the corridor. "Come on, Griz." The woman perked up before she followed after Reginleif. "Huh-? Where are you two going-?" Göll questioned. "Still... six more to go..." Brunhilde answered. Her youngest sister had stared up at her with slight shock.

(Dear Sister... You really do intend to defeat the Gods, don't you...? -Göll)

- With (Y/n) -

"How is he?" They walked into the tunnel, seeing Hrist smile softly. "He's quite injured and fatigued. However, I believe he'll be fine once he heals enough." (Y/n) nodded. "Then, get him to the infirmary. I'll make a call to someone." Hrist blinked. "Don't worry about it." (Y/n) spoke. Hrist had continued to carry Kojiro away, the Android had made a call. They then leaned against the wall, waiting for it to pick up. After a few seconds, it had connected. "Hello?" Anemone's voice questioned. "Hey, is there any way you could heal Kojiro if I pay you for it?" She hummed softly. "I suppose, yes...?" She mumbled. "How much do you need?" (Y/n) then opened their save file, seeing how much currency they had. "I can't say that we need much..." Anemone answered. She seemed to go silent for a second, presumably just looking through something. "Uhm, you still have that mission Hermes gave you, right? There have been Resistance signals that have been staying there. I think you'll need to check that out." (Y/n) nodded. "I won't be able to do that today... But maybe in a few days." They spoke.

"That's fine by me. You already do enough for the Resistance as is. I don't think you need to pay as long as you can get that done for us. I'll head over right now to help your friend, so keep him firm. That was a good match for Humanity, by the way." (Y/n) nodded. "Right. Thank you, Anemone." They replied. She hummed softly in reply before ending the call. The Android gently put their phone in their pocket, sighing faintly. "... Pod." The small machine looked towards (Y/n). "You can get started on resurrecting him now." Pod had then flashed a light down the tunnel. "Already started." He replied. (Y/n) nodded. They then walked towards the infirmary, walking past another room. It had opened, making (Y/n) look at the person. It was Thor. The red haired God stared down at (Y/n) for a moment. "... It's nice to see you again." He spoke. They softly nodded. "And to you as well, Thor..." His eyes narrowed. "... Did you anticipate this result?" They shook their head. "Though... I suppose it is a welcome one..." (Y/n) then looked up at Thor. "... Did you anticipate it?" The male closed his eyes. "Somewhat. Poseidon had his pride. Perhaps that's what crushed him." (Y/n) softly nodded. "Maybe." They then looked forward. "... I'll see you again soon, perhaps." Thor faintly nodded. The two had then went their separate ways.

(Y/n) had then made their way into the infirmary. "Where were you?" Adam looked back at them with a blink. "I made a call. Help will be here soon." (Y/n) replied. "Oh?" Adam arched an eyebrow. "Where are Reginleif and Randgriz?" (Y/n) blinked. "They're still making their way here!" Chen popped up. "I see..." The Android then looked back. "Hey." Lü Bu spoke. (Y/n) looked towards him. "Is that Poseidon guy really going to be resurrected as an Android?" They silently nodded, seeing Chen smile. He had then collapsed with a sigh. "Do you know how annoying he'd be...?" He mumbled. "I know fully well." (Y/n) then turned. "... We'll have to deal with it." Adam blinked. "... If he doesn't want any friends, he can stay alone. After all, he did spout all of that about not needing any friends." He spoke. "He's been saying that..." (Y/n) mumbled. They then started to take care of Kojiro's wounds. "Hrist, are you all right?" Adam then looked towards the Valkyrie, who had smiled softly. "I'm perfectly fine." She replied.

The blond nodded before the door had opened. Randgriz and Reginleif had walked into the room. "Hello there." Randgriz spoke. (Y/n) gave her a small nod. "Would you like for me to assist?" The Valkyrie smiled softly as (Y/n) looked towards the male. They then nodded. "That would be appreciated." Randgriz nodded. She then walked towards Kojiro, holding her hands over the male. A green glow had began to emit over her hands as she focused, slowly beginning to heal Kojiro's wounds. The male's eyes slowly opened as he slowly looked at Randgriz. "... Thanks, Miss." He smiled softly. "Not a problem. You should focus on resting." Randgriz had done the same. (Y/n) silently sat down next to the male. "The next time you wake up, you'll be healed. We can actually do something by then." His smile had faintly widened. "Think so...?" He questioned. (Y/n) softly nodded. Kojiro sighed, laying his head down on the pillow. "... I want to go somewhere we can meditate... and just talk... Maybe reminisce..." He mumbled. Adam then looked at Lü Bu and Chen. He had given a thumbs up while the other male had looked to the side with a small glare. He had stayed silent before looking at Adam, who had his arms crossed while looking back at him. Lü Bu faintly grunted, looking to the side again. He then slowly looked at Kojiro.

"... You did better than I expected." The male spoke. He looked towards Lü Bu. "... Good job." The male softly praised. Kojiro blinked. He then chuckled. "Thank you." The swordsman then winced faintly. "Rest." Adam spoke. "Help is still on the way. So, you should rest for now." (Y/n) added. "Still?" Randgriz looked towards them. "I called in Anemone." (Y/n) replied. They then looked towards Kojiro. "I'll come back tomorrow. For now, you should rest." The male faintly nodded. He then softly closed his eyes with a small sigh, leaving Randgriz to keep healing the older looking male. After a while on merely talking and sitting, the door had opened. Anemone stopped upon seeing the amount of people in the room. "Oh, hello-" Randgriz looked towards the woman. "Hi-" She nodded, now walking towards Kojiro. "You healed him rather nicely. You're an H class unit, I presume?" Anemone looked towards Randgriz while taking off her gloves. "... Miss Anemone, right?" Chen questioned. "Yeah." The woman nodded while allowing for her smoke to flow out of her fingertips.

"Oh. (Y/n), Hermes had something to meet up with you for. We met him in the hallway, so he might still be there." They silently nodded. "It's probably about the assignment I never completed..." They mumbled, getting up. The Android then looked back at Adam. "... Do you think you'll need help in case if things go wrong?" He questioned, clearly in protective Father mode. "No, I should be fine." (Y/n) looked down with a nod. "He might be talking to me about Poseidon as well." They then looked towards the door. "Anemone, I'll complete our deal tomorrow." She nodded as her smoke flowed into Kojiro.

His wounds had healed completely.

Kojiro remained asleep while (Y/n) had left the room. They then walked towards the Bunker, seeing the doors automatically open for them. They then walked towards Hermes' room, seeing him look back at them with a small smile. "I suppose you didn't have enough time?" He questioned. "No." (Y/n) answered. "I see... Well, I think it'd be best to not leave your comrades hanging." Hermes smiled softly. "... I think we both know fully well that they aren't alive." (Y/n) spoke. The male softly sighed through his nose, softly nodding. "However... it's worth a try." He replied. "Anyhow, I caught onto the fact that your mask broke. So, I made another one." The male then held out the mask towards the Android. "Also, I've caught on that Lord Poseidon has been added to your list of Androids. I'm sure enough that Lord Zeus may or may not know the others are alive as well. It's a 50/50 chance." (Y/n) blinked. "... Even if he saw them sitting next to me." They spoke. "Old men have severe memory, you know?" Hermes shrugged with a small smile. (Y/n) blinked.

"... Proteus won't be happy about Poseidon's death... and would only be confused when it comes to him coming back to life." Hermes sighed softly. "Well... Do you think you can convince him...?" He softly smiled at the Android exhaled through their nose. "... Maybe once Poseidon's resurrected..." They mumbled. "I don't know when that is.. but..." The Android closed their eyes behind their blindfold. "... I guess I can try. It just depends on him and if he can actually tolerate Poseidon being an Android." Hermes' smile slightly grew. "I'm sure he can. No need to worry." He spoke. "... Do you have any information about the area I'll be going to tomorrow?" (Y/n) replied, also questioning him. "Hm..." Hermes opened a screen, searching some things up. "How many people do you plan on coming with?" He questioned. "Maybe about two or three people." (Y/n) answered. They looked down. "... Or just... those that need to come along, I suppose..." Hermes nodded. "I'll assume you're going in a group of two to four. Including the Human or God participant?" He questioned, continuing to type things out. (Y/n) silently nodded. "Well..." Hermes gently typed in a few more things.

"... No info yet." He softly spoke. (Y/n) softly exhaled through their nose. "... Alright..." They then looked towards the door. "I'll get back now. At least in a day or two, I'll go and help those Androids..." They then looked down. "... If they're even alive or not..." Hermes smiled softly. "Then, I wish good luck." He then turned to the screen again, going back to the home screen. "... Would you like to know the God participant?" (Y/n) silently stopped. Hermes looked back at them with a small smile. "We did have a deal, after all." He spoke. "I give you supportive info, as well as many other benefits in exchange for you." Hermes' smile faintly widened while his eyes had narrowed. (Y/n) silently exhaled through his nose, waiting for Hermes to continue speaking. "The God participant is chosen to be Heracles." (Y/n) silently looked forward. "... Heracles..." They mumbled. The Android silently nodded. "Then... thanks." They spoke. "Not a problem." Hermes softly bowed his head. (Y/n) then silently walked out of the Bunker. "Pod, send that info to Brunhilde." The small machine had immediately done so. "Affirmed." He replied. (Y/n) had then walked towards the infirmary again.

Hrist had waited in her own bed, seemingly resting. Kojiro had done the same, still asleep.

(Y/n) then walked to their own house, aiming to restore their fuel filter to get rid of some time. They had walked past the Human dorms in the process, hearing the chaos that had ensued within the area. The Android walked slightly faster, not wanting to be bothered or included in on the chaos. Fortunately, they had been able to get to their own house, seating themself on the table. They then gently linked the tube off of its rightful place before gently plugging it into their fuel filter. For a while, (Y/n) had silently rested, waiting for their fuel filter to be completely filled.

- A few hours later -

The Android silently opened their eyes. They faintly tensed, pulling the tube out of their fuel filter. (Y/n) then silently hung it by its natural place, now closing the lid to their filter before walking back to the infirmary. Pod immediately floated after them, following them into the Human side's Infirmary. Kojiro was speaking with Hrist about something until they had heard the door open. The pair looked back at the Android. "Oh- Hey, (Y/n)-" Kojiro waved at them. They silently nodded. "... Hi." They replied. Kojiro blinked. "... Did you need something?" Hrist questioned. (Y/n) silently looked at the swordsman. "... Do you want to go somewhere with me?" He immediately perked up. "Oh- Yeah, sure-" He replied. The male then looked at Hrist. The Valkyrie smiled softly, giving a small nod. "Go ahead." She replied. "Are you sure?" Kojiro questioned. "Just go, or I'll have to tie you two together!!" The Valkyrie shouted, clearly switching personalities for a second. "Yes, ma'am-" Kojiro quickly pushed (Y/n) out of the room with a few nervous chuckles. The Android looked back at him for a second within the dark halls as he gently gripped at their kimono outfit.

"... I'm scared of the dark." He spoke. (Y/n) blinked. They then exhaled through their nose as Pod felt a light click in him. That very light had shined down the hall, granting Kojiro some slight relief. He then followed after (Y/n), gently clenching their clothes. "So, where are we going?" The male questioned. "You'll see..." They then looked forward. "... Are your wounds okay? Or are they all gone by now?" They questioned again. "Oh, they're all gone! Was it by Miss Randgriz?" Kojiro questioned. "Both her and my friend." (Y/n) answered. "Oh- Well, tell them I said thank you-" The male flashed a thumbs up with a smile. The Android silently nodded.

They then made their way out of the dark hallways, having Kojiro follow after. "We'll be heading to the City Ruins. Hopefully you can find a place there that satisfies you." (Y/n) opened up a map on Pod's screen, putting a pin down on the entrance of the City Ruins. "What places would you really prefer?" The Android questioned. "Maybe a place with a calming waterfall? Someplace with no noise other than that so we can focus?" Kojiro smiled softly. "Is anyone else coming with?" He questioned. (Y/n) silently shook their head, continuing to tap on things on Pod's screen. Thanks to that, they hadn't noticed Kojiro punching the air with his fist. The male then put his hands at his sides, smiling softly. "So, how was your relationship with Poseidon?" He questioned. "... I suppose you could call us Frenemies..." (Y/n) mumbled. "That would make sense." Kojiro smiled softly. "He doesn't seem to like anyone-" He spoke. "... Anyone except his brother." (Y/n) blinked. They softly frowned. "... I think he'll be participating now as well..." They mumbled. "Who?" Kojiro blinked. "No need to worry about it." The Android silently shook their head. They then looked forward, closing out Pod's screen. "It'll still be a slight long way until we get back. Do you have any more topics you want to talk of?" Kojiro perked up. "You're actually offering-? The last time we always saw each other, you just told me to be quiet after an hour-" He spoke.

(Y/n) looked at him with a blink, silently crossing their arms. "Right. Sorry." Kojiro replied. He seemed to chuckle. "Anyhow... Would you mind if I came over a few more times?" He questioned. "No, why?" The Android looked back at him. "Well... I figure that it's way easier with you. And..." Kojiro looked down. "... I just want to support you, you know?" He softly scratched the back of his head, chuckling softly. "How noble of you." (Y/n) looked back at him. "You can come along with me anytime as long as I say it's fine." They then look forward as Pod floated towards Kojiro. "If you had died, you would have been chosen as one of Unit 1V's support partners." The Android looked back at the small machine as he blinked. "Huh-?" He questioned. "Pod, stop." (Y/n) looked towards the small machine. "Order refused. This Pod is required to assist and speak by any time necessary." He replied. "Was it necessary to say that?" (Y/n) silently crossed their arms. "Yes." Pod replied. Kojiro chuckled. "It's fine." He spoke. "As long as I get a chance, I'm fine with it." The male added, looking towards (Y/n) while walking next to them again. They blinked before silently nodding. "... I see." (Y/n) looked forward.

After a slight while, Kojiro and them had finally reached the City Ruins. "... This place looks abandoned." He spoke. "It mostly is." (Y/n) answered. They saw Kojiro walk up to a small machine biped. It had simply walked around, its yellow eyes blinking every now and then. "Whoa, what's this?" The male poked it. "It's a small machine biped. Those machines, as well as those of different sizes are littered across this world. I'm supposed to help free it." Kojiro jolted, looking back at them. "All on your own-?" He replied. (Y/n) shook their head. "There are other Androids. They help in their own missions." They replied. "Oh, thank goodness... I thought you and the others were the only ones that could do it..." Kojiro sighed softly. "Oh, right." (Y/n) tossed a blade towards him, making him blink. "You can borrow it for the time we're here. I don't need you defenseless." The male looked at Cruel Blood Oath. "It would have helped if you were still in your bloodied state." Kojiro looked back at the Android. "Why?" He questioned.

"Cruel Blood Oath specializes in increasing attack power once the wielder is at a desperate time. Most likely by death's door." Kojiro softly nodded. "I see..." He mumbled, looking back at the blade. "Wait-" He perked up. "Does that mean your weapons have special effects-?" He questioned. (Y/n) arched an eyebrow slightly. "... Yes?" They questioned. Kojiro immediately felt his eyes brighten. "That's so cool!" He spoke. (Y/n) blinked. Though, they looked forward. "I suppose. The people that created these weapons really are good at their own art." The Android blinked again. "Want to wander around until we find a suitable place to stay for meditation?" They questioned. Kojiro nodded. "Fine by me." He then looked around. "Where do we start?" He questioned. (Y/n) blinked. "There's a small waterfall I know of here. But there's a camp around it. Would you be fine with that?" Kojiro then nodded again. "I'm not picky as long as I can get my concentration up!" He replied. (Y/n) silently nodded. They then walked towards another direction. "But, jeez..." The swordsman looked around. "... The state of this place is pretty sad..." He mumbled.

"The machines flooded it and forced the Gods to flee. Now here they all are." (Y/n) replied. They walked by an area with a small patch of land in the middle of it. There were machines aimlessly walking around, their yellow eyes blinking. (Y/n) silently unsheathed their blade. "I'll get it started. You can get yourself comfortable."

Kojiro had then watched as the Android slaughtered the machines within seconds. They walked towards him, allowing for their blade to appear by their back.

"... What?" (Y/n) questioned. "You seemed quick about it..." Kojiro chuckled as he made his way onto the small patch of grass. He saw (Y/n) grabbing the useable parts from the dead machines. "No other way to go about it." They spoke, sitting next to him. "Oh. Is that the camp you were talking about?" Kojiro looked towards the entrance of the Resistance Camp. (Y/n) nod. "Do you want to go there?" They questioned. "... Sure. Why not." Kojiro shrugged. He followed after (Y/n), with the Android walking into the area.

"It's Sasaki Kojiro-"
"The winner of the third round-?"
"Who else."

The male blinked. "It seems as if I'm popular here-" He spoke, chuckling softly. "Yep. We had the match on earlier." Anemone walked towards them. "Kojiro, this is Anemone. And Anemone, you already know who he is." She nodded, smiling softly as she saw the male bowing his head towards her. "Thank you for healing me, Miss." He spoke. "Not a problem. I owe (Y/n) some things, and I'm supposed to be a healer for Ragnarok's participants." Anemone replied. While she had talked with Kojiro, (Y/n) had walked towards the supply trader to get some heals. After they had finished, they then walked back to the pair. "Oh, they don't really seem to be acting any differently... But I can surely say that they might be having a better time than they usually do." Anemone spoke. "Like what." (Y/n) questioned. The pair jolted. "Nothing, nothing- Don't worry about it, (Y/n)-" Anemone replied. She softly chuckled. "Oh, Kojiro told me about how you two planned on meditating someplace. I hear that the Forest Zone has lots of waterfalls. Though, it's pretty far away for now. Think you can handle it all?" (Y/n) looked back at the male. "Well?" The male smirked faintly. "You bet." He replied.

"Alright. I'll mark the point on your map. Just be aware that the place can be a bit... rocky." (Y/n) tilted their head in silence. "The machines there... They're a bit odd when it comes to their 'King'." Anemone mumbled. "I had my group over there once, but we were immediately shooed out. If anything else, my group would have died. Another group was sent in, only to get the same aggressive start." (Y/n) blinked. "... I never thought they could have a sort of... King..." They mumbled. "Me neither. But, machines can be pretty weird. You know, I've saw a few machines that think of each other as sisters. Even a few machines that think of each other as a whole family of three." The Android blinked again. "... Odd." They mumbled. They then looked forward. "... I suppose machines still are without understanding..." (Y/n) turned around. "Anyhow, we'll get going." Kojiro smiled. "Good luck, you two." Anemone waved. "Thank you!" The swordsman waved back while (Y/n) had walked to the entrance of the Resistance Camp. Kojiro immediately followed after. "A Mother and Father machine with a kid? Really? That could happen?" He questioned.

"You think I know?" (Y/n) mumbled as a reply. The Android then looked forward, opening up Pod's map. "... It really is kind of far..." They then looked back at him. "How far do you think you can run without getting tired?" Kojiro blinked. "... I'm an old man, (Y/n)." They sighed faintly. "Alright, fine. We can walk there." The Android continued to walk forward. "I can jog though." Kojiro smiled softly. "... Fine enough." The two had then started to jog. "... If you're fit enough to win against a God, how are you not fit enough to run?" (Y/n) questioned. "I'm just using my age as an excuse-" Kojiro softly chuckled. He saw the Android silently stare at him for a moment. They then broke into a run. "Hey, wait-" Kojiro immediately followed after. "You'd leave an old man-?!" He questioned. "If he can run, yes." (Y/n) answered. Kojiro sighed. "I remembered how cruel you were- Especially in training!" He pointed to the Android. "You wanted to get stronger. I don't see the problem." (Y/n) blinked as Kojiro deadpanned. "If you keep looking at me like that, you'll run into a tree." He looked in front of them, immediately stopping himself from running into a tree.

".... Thanks for the save..." He mumbled. "Mhm." (Y/n) and him then ran past a red tower. "Ooh, what's over there?" Kojiro questioned, smiling softly. "... Would you want to find out?" (Y/n) questioned. The male looked up at the tower. "... No. I'm okay." He replied, not really wanting to climb up or down a ladder. "Then, we'll keep going." (Y/n) walked towards a bridge. "Whoa... That's high up..." Kojiro mumbled, following after them. "Are you afraid of heights?" The Android silently looked back at him. Once the two had reached the bridge, the male had looked down at the distance below said bridge. It wasn't even seen from how low it was. "... That height? Yeah-" He replied. (Y/n) silently nodded. They silently grabbed his hand, walking towards the bridge. Kojiro looked back at the ropes with a faintly nervous expression. Especially when he had heard the gentle creaks of the string. (Y/n) gently pulled him closer, continuing to walk across. It had only been seconds that felt like minutes before they had been able to cross the bridge. Kojiro faintly sighed, walking into the area with (Y/n). "... Odd..." They mumbled, looking around. They then walked towards another location within the place. "... All entrances are closed." They spoke. "... Oh... Then I guess we'd have to go back to the Resistance then..." Kojiro replied. He looked back at the bridge with a small shudder.

"Come on." (Y/n) grabbed his hand again, walking towards the bridge. As the pair stepped onto it, they had walked towards the other side in a slightly faster pace. However, the side Kojiro was on had broken off, making him fall into the spot below.

(Y/n) had immediately jumped after the male, grabbing onto him as he shrieked, flailing. "You can stop." The Android gave a small glare under their mask before they grasped onto Pod's small arm. The pair had slowed down, eventually reaching the floor without wounds.

"... There's a waterfall here." (Y/n) placed a hand on their hip. "That would have been nice if I wasn't about to drop to my death...!" Kojiro replied. "You're fine." (Y/n) looked towards him, gently rubbing circles onto his back as he clung to their leg, slowly calming himself down. The male softly sighed. "Sorry... Being in a near death situation just..." (Y/n) silently nodded. "It's fine." They replied. "Just take a small moment to calm down. I'll be exploring the area." (Y/n) then walked around, following the small stream of water in front of them. They had saw machine corpses, as well as usable parts. Though, they had then saw two chests. The Android took out their Black Box, switching their type to Scanner. They then hacked into the lost chest. It had revealed a file, making (Y/n) tilt their head. Though, they had gently taken it out.

("Unit 1B's Memory Files: Kojiro Sasaki" -(Y/n))

They stayed silent for a moment. The Android then had Pod absorb the file into his inventory before unlocking the other chest.

Phoenix Dagger

"Hm... Not a bad find, I suppose..." (Y/n) allowed for the weapon to be absorbed into inventory before walking towards a darker area within the canyon. Machines had loitered around the area, making them immediately engage in combat. They had switched their Black Box to Attacker, now slicing at the machines in front of them. It seemed to take a few minutes based on the amount of them. Though, (Y/n) had soon been able to put their blade away, picking up any usable parts. Their blindfolded eyes then landed on a door. "... Hm... How convenient." (Y/n) then walked back to Kojiro, who had already got up. "I found the exit." (Y/n) spoke. "We can get out now-?" He looked back at them. (Y/n) silently nodded. Kojiro looked back at the waterfall for a second. "... We can stay here to meditate if you want." The Android spoke. "... No." Kojiro looked back at them with a small smile. "I don't think I want to stay in a place where I almost died-" He spoke. "... Fair enough." (Y/n) nodded. They then led him to the elevator, pressing a button before the doors opened. The pair walked in, allowing for the doors to close. It had then went upwards. "... Wow... I never thought things could move like this..." Kojiro mumbled.

(Y/n) softly nodded. The doors had then opened, allowing for the pair to walk out. "...Well... it doesn't seem as if this goes all the way up." The Android them jumped onto a few higher ledges. Kojiro had followed after, being careful not to slip. The pair had then made their way up, now walking back to the Resistance Camp. "... Think you're ready to go home?" (Y/n) questioned. "Definitely-" Kojiro softly sighed as (Y/n) nodded. "Then, we can get back to it." The Android had then walked through the small blades of grass. "Maybe Hrist can comfort you about your new fear of heights." The male's smile slightly dropped. "Come on..." He mumbled. (Y/n) softly looked forward with a faint snort of amusement. "You have a dark sense of humor if that's what amuses you..." Kojiro softly sighed. "You already know fully well." (Y/n) looked back at him again. "Yeah, of course I do..." He mumbled. The Android then blinked. "... Do you feel bothered by me teasing you about it?" They questioned."Partly- It's not every day that I get teased for almost dying-" He answered. "I see." (Y/n) then looked forward. "I won't tease for it then." They spoke. Kojiro smiled faintly. He then looked forward. "Sorry about not being able to meditate, by the way." He spoke. "It's fine. You could always meditate somewhere else if that's fine enough. It may help us as well." (Y/n) spoke.

"You sure your friends would like it?" Kojiro questioned. "They'll get used to it. I'd hope, at least." (Y/n) answered. They then continued to walk towards the entrance of the City Ruins. "... I take you you don't want to come anywhere near here?" They questioned. "I'll help if there's no risk of me falling to my death." Kojiro smiled softly. "Half and half, I suppose." He spoke. "That'll depend." (Y/n) silently looked to the side. "Though, we don't know what most of the map looks like. So, you'll never know until you come along." They replied. "I see..." Kojiro looked down. "Well, I suppose I'll need to get over it sooner or later..." He then chuckled. "Alright, maybe next time." He spoke. (Y/n) silently nodded. They and him had walked to the entrance of the City Ruins, now walking back to the Human Dorms. "Do you usually have to walk around like this...?" Kojiro mumbled. "Androids can use a fast travel method if there are multiple models of themselves to return to if their current body dies. However, fast travel points aren't created within the City Ruins yet. Only to the dorms and within the Bunker." (Y/n) answered. "Bunker?" Kojiro questioned. "The place I was turned into an Android at." The Android answered. "Oh..." The swordsman looked down.

"It's not as if it's a problem that you brung it up. I don't really care for what I am right now." They looked down. "As long as I can support the participants one way or another." Kojiro blinked. He tilted his head. "... Is something going on?" He questioned. "... What would you mean?" The Android looked at him. "... You seem oddly down, even by how you usually are." (Y/n) blinked, looking forward. "... It's just a problem that'll impact the future in a bigger way." They spoke. Kojiro seemed to frown with worry. "... Like what? You're treating it as if it's minor." He replied. "Only slightly." (Y/n) blinked. "... I've made it a priority to help the participants of Ragnarok, whether they be Human or God for something important that'll come by the end of that event." The swordsman stopped. "... Like?" He questioned. "By the end of Ragnarok, you may not be seeing me anymore. No one will be." (Y/n) then continued walking as Kojiro followed after. "You'll need to explain this to me." He said. "Memories will be wiped, and I will be working for Gods entirely." (Y/n) replied. The male frowned. "Are you serious? The Gods are really doing that to you?" He questioned. (Y/n) nodded.

"Man..." Kojiro then sighed. "Well, I hope they don't mind us sneaking in for a few just to check in." He smiled as (Y/n) turned to look back at him. They blinked. "... I hope I don't be a bitch about it..." They mumbled. The Android heard him chuckle. "Well, I'm pretty sure we'd be fine with it." He then looked down. "Though..." The male looked down. "... The Gods must be pretty strict if they're not letting you do things how you want to..." (Y/n) looked back at him. Though, they then looked forward again. "I suppose there's not much that could be done." The Android then softly exhaled through their nose. "... Even if I may not remember you by that time, it would be nice to see you again." Kojiro smiled, looking back at them. He then gently grabbed their hand. "We'll make you remember." He spoke. (Y/n) blinked. They seemed to realize something before smiling softly behind their mask. "... Yeah." They finally replied. "You seem happy about it." Kojiro walked closer to them, his own smile growing as well. "Well, I simply realized something." (Y/n) gently clenched his hand.

(... I'll have to keep collecting those files... -(Y/n))

"... Is there something wrong? You never let me hold your hand for so long." Kojiro blinked. "Though." He then smiled. "I'll take it!" He spoke.

(Y/n) and him had then walked back to the Human Dorms, walking towards Kojiro's room. "And that's your stop." The Android looked back at him, gently breaking contact with his hand. He looked back at it with a small hum of disappointment, but looked back at them with a smile. "I'll see you again soon." He spoke. (Y/n) nodded. "And to you as well." They replied. "Oh-" Kojiro then grabbed Cruel Blood Oath off of his back before handing it to (Y/n). They allowed for it to absorb into their inventory. "I find it pretty cool of how it can just float on your back." The swordsman spoke. (Y/n) nodded. "Anyhow, I'll see you again next time." Kojiro gave them a wave before walking into his dorm. The male gently shut the doors, allowing for (Y/n) to walk to their own abode.

"Unit 1V, what are you attempting to do?" Pod questioned. (Y/n) looked down. "... Well, that'll be a secret for now." They spoke, walking towards their room before sitting by the table. (Y/n) then gently sat down by the table, taking the tube off of the fuel dispenser. They softly plugged it into their filter, closing their eyes. Pod seemed to float in front of them for a few moments. "... It has been thirty seconds. Unit 1V should state their intentions." He spoke. (Y/n) looked towards him. "... Maybe I can avoid a memory wipe, even if not entirely." They spoke, closing their eyes again. Pod only stayed silent for a few seconds. Though, he sat down beside them. "Understood." The small machine had then shut down for the day while (Y/n) had allowed for their fuel to refill.
