Abu Talha reported:
While we were sitting in front of the houses and talking amongst ourselves, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) happened to come there. He stood by us and said: What about you and your meetings on the paths? Avoid these meetings on the paths. We said: We were sitting here without (any intention of harming the passers-by); we are sitting to discuss matters and to hold conversation amongst ourselves. Thereupon he said: If there is no help (for you but to sit on these paths), then give the paths their rights and these are lowering of the gaze, exchanging of greetings, and good conversation.

"Ta-da!" Ammar exclaimed, presenting a beautifully wrapped box and placing it in Hanan's hands.

"What could this be?" Hanan wondered, her eyes fixed on the carefully wrapped gift.

"Go ahead, open it and see for yourself," Ammar encouraged, a smile playing on his lips, though he couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and nervousness regarding Hanan's response to the surprise inside.

"Alright," Hanan replied, settling onto the bed as she carefully untied the ribbon and removed the wrapping paper.

And there it was, a brand new Canon Camera, the latest model, revealed as Hanan unveiled its contents.

Hanan's anger surged as she shot Ammar a piercing glare. "Why do you keep trying to make me do things I've repeatedly said I would never do?"

"Hanan, please don't misunderstand me. I only want to see you happy and return to your old self, the cheerful Hanan, not this moody version," Ammar said softly as he took a seat beside Hanan.

"It's none of your business what I choose to do with my life!" Hanan exclaimed, handing the camera back to him.

"It does concern me, Hanan, because you're my wife! I have a responsibility to take care of you and ensure your happiness always, and that includes this camera," Ammar responded, extending the camera back to her.

"Ammar, didn't you hear what I said? I don't want your camera. Go and give it to someone who wants it!" Hanan asserted, standing up.

"Why do you refuse to let yourself be happy, Hanan? Why must you abandon your hobby just because your late husband passed away? Did he specifically ask you to stop pursuing photography, or was it your decision?" Ammar inquired, rising to his feet as well.

"You fail to understand, Ammar. No matter what you do, you can never replace Zain in my life. And no, he never told me to avoid cameras after his death. I made that decision because I can't bring myself to take pictures, something he supported me in, something we always did together," Hanan said tearfully, sinking to the floor.

Ammar sat down beside Hanan on the floor and began speaking. "Hanan, you need to realize that just because he's gone doesn't mean you should stop living your life and enjoying yourself. Many people have lost their spouses and continue living, not because they didn't love them, but because they view it as a test from Allah. I want you to perceive this as a test too. I'm not asking you to forget about your late husband, you can always remember him and pray for him. I'm not trying to replace him in your life, I just want to be someone you can lean on, someone who will always be there for you and make you happy."

"Why are you so kind to me, Ammar?" Hanan asked, looking at him.

"Because I love you more than you can imagine," Ammar confessed, and Hanan felt a stirring within her upon hearing Ammar's declaration.

"I've made a decision. I will continue taking pictures. I believe Zain would be happy knowing that I'm carrying on with my passion, the thing I love doing the most," Hanan said, smiling through her tears.

Hanan's hobby was photography. She loved capturing images of people, animals, nature, objects, and countless other subjects. She pursued photography as a hobby rather than a profession because she didn't take pictures to earn money, it was purely her passion. Her ultimate dream was to open an art gallery where she could showcase the pictures she had taken.

"That's a wonderful decision, sweetheart. I'm incredibly proud of you, my girl," Ammar beamed, hugging her.

"Thank you," Hanan smiled back, reciprocating the hug.

"So, before we leave, why don't you take a picture of me with your new camera?" Ammar suggested, grinning at her after they broke apart from the hug.

"Are we going somewhere? Aren't we supposed to leave today?" Hanan raised an eyebrow.

"Why should we leave today?" Ammar asked, confused.

"You promised we would leave today. Have you forgotten about the promise?" Hanan inquired, looking at him.

"Sweetheart, since we're already in India, why don't we stay and explore? We can visit Mumbai and Delhi too. I know how much you love being here and showing me around," Ammar suggested with a sweet smile.

"Fine," Hanan agreed.

"Thank you. Now come and take a picture of me so that I can bless your camera," Ammar said, standing up.

"You sound just like Zain. He would always ask me to take his picture first whenever I got a new camera, saying it would be blessed," Hanan said, a hint of sadness in her smile.

"Maybe Zain and I have more in common than you think if you got to know me," Ammar winked at her playfully.

"Your wish. You two are different people. Zain was ruthful, while you are ruthless," Hanan retorted.

"But I'm not ruthless towards you, Hanan. I'm compassionate," Ammar replied.

"You just admitted you can be ruthless!" Hanan smirked.

"No, I didn't," Ammar chuckled.

"Let me take a picture of you. I wonder if you'll look as good as you claim," Hanan teased, grabbing the camera and making Ammar chuckle.

"Is everything set?" Hanan asked Ammar, inspecting the camera.

"Yes, I've already set everything for you. You just have to start taking pictures," Ammar told her.

"Okay," Hanan nodded.

"We should go to the living room to take the pictures," Hanan suggested.

"Let's go," Ammar agreed, and they made their way to the living room.

"Ammar, why do you have such a cold expression when I'm about to take your picture?" Hanan complained. They were currently in the living room, with Ammar sitting in a chair, wearing a distant expression.

"I plan to display the picture you take in my office," Ammar replied.

"What do you putting a picture in your office have to do with you looking so cold?" Hanan questioned.

"Sweetheart, my face always appears this way-cold. It only softens and warms when I'm with you," Ammar explained.

"Fine, Mr. Cold Face," Hanan said, causing Ammar to burst into laughter. She seized the opportunity and snapped a picture of him.

"Sweetheart, that's cheating!" Ammar exclaimed, realizing she had taken a picture of him.

"I always love capturing candid moments when people are unaware," Hanan grinned, as Ammar smiled back at her.

"Let me see the picture," Ammar requested. Hanan sat beside him and showed him the image.

"I look happy. I can't remember the last time I looked like that," Ammar remarked, studying the photo she took.

"You're going to put this picture in your office," Hanan stated, making Ammar's eyes widen.

"You're joking, right?" Ammar asked.

"Do I look like I'm joking?" Hanan responded with a serious expression.

"But, Sweetheart, please consider it. How can I hang this picture in my office? I'm laughing in the picture, and people might think I'm not the composed Ammar anymore," Ammar explained.

"Alright, but you can put it in your study room," Hanan suggested.

"Deal. It's settled then," Ammar smiled, pulling her into a side hug.

"Now, take a picture of me with a serious expression so that I can hang it in my office," Ammar requested.

"Okay," Hanan agreed, capturing the shot. The picture turned out exceptionally well, highlighting his handsome features.

Hanan and Ammar strolled side by side along the sun-kissed beaches of Goa, their footsteps leaving imprints in the sand. Ammar's bodyguards followed closely behind, ensuring their safety.

As they ventured deeper into the heart of Goa, the air became infused with a delightful blend of spices and the sweet fragrance of tropical flowers. Hanan's eyes sparkled with excitement as she caught sight of a vibrant street market, abuzz with activity and brimming with colorful stalls. Ever ready to capture moments with her camera, Hanan didn't miss any opportunity to snap pictures.

"Let's explore," Hanan exclaimed, tugging at Ammar's arm. Ammar chuckled, unable to resist her infectious enthusiasm.

Hand in hand, they meandered through the lively stalls, appreciating the intricate handicrafts, dazzling textiles, and captivating paintings that adorned the market.

The tantalizing aroma of street food wafted through the air, enticing them to satisfy their hunger. Hanan and Ammar found themselves standing before a stall that boasted an enticing array of delectable treats.

"Shall we give it a try?" Ammar suggested, his eyes twinkling with anticipation.

Hanan nodded eagerly, her gaze wandering over the tempting dishes on display. They ordered a plate of piping hot samosas, crispy pakoras, and an assortment of tangy chutneys. The flavors burst in their mouths as they savored each bite, their taste buds delighted by the harmonious medley of spices. Hanan's dream of savoring authentic Indian street food had finally come true.

With contented smiles, they continued their culinary adventure, eager to discover more gastronomic delights. Along their path, they stumbled upon a charming, hidden restaurant nestled in a narrow alley. Its walls were adorned with captivating local artwork, and the scent of freshly baked bread wafted through the air.

Curiosity piqued, Hanan and Ammar stepped inside, receiving a warm welcome from the restaurant owner. The menu boasted a variety of traditional Goan dishes, from fiery vindaloos to fragrant fish curries.

Driven by their desire to delve into the local cuisine, they ordered a fish curry prepared with a blend of authentic Goan spices, accompanied by fragrant rice. With each spoonful, they were transported to a world of culinary bliss, the tender fish infused with an exquisite combination of flavors that danced on their palates.

As they indulged in the rich and diverse cuisine of Goa, Hanan lost herself in the moment, forging a deeper connection with Ammar through their shared love for food and exploration. Laughter echoed, conversations flowed, and each experience was savored, creating cherished memories that would forever reside in their hearts.

"Thank you for today," Hanan expressed gratefully as they sat in the car, returning from their tour.

"No need to thank me, sweetheart. It's I who should be thankful that you thoroughly enjoyed yourself today. Your happiness means the world to me, Hanan," Ammar replied, a warm smile gracing his lips. Hanan reciprocated with a smile, her eyes reflecting her appreciation.

"Show me the pictures you've taken today," Ammar requested, and Hanan eagerly retrieved her camera, showcasing the captured moments to him.

"Wow, these pictures turned out exceptionally well. Sweetheart, you can transport someone to India just by seeing the moments you've captured," Ammar praised, his admiration evident in his voice.

"Stop flattering me," Hanan responded, her smile radiant.

"I'm serious, sweetheart. You are the most talented photographer I have ever encountered. I believe that if you were to participate in a global photography competition, you could easily win the title of the world's best photographer," Ammar expressed with unwavering sincerity.

"Ammar, you are something," Hanan responded, unable to contain her giggles. Her laughter brightened the atmosphere, bringing a smile to Ammar's face.

As Ammar gazed at her, a thought crossed his mind - perhaps he was successfully rekindling the spirit of the old Hanan.
