While going back to the venue, Tzuyu fixes herself as how she looked earlier. She arrived and saw Elkie having a conversation with Mr. Kim.
"Ow..Look who's here? The beautiful daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chou. You are Tzuyu, Chou Tzuyu?", The old man asked and Tzuyu smilingly nodded and then greeted him.
"Good evening, Mr. Kim. I'm Chou Tzuyu", as she formally introduced herself again. She then offer her hand to do a handshake with the old man and Mr. Kim gladly accepted that.
"I want to apologize on behalf of my father. He couldn't make it tonight because he's in Japan for a business trip. I hope you'll understand and accept his apology."
"It's fine with me. No worries. At least you came all the way here just to attend this event. Thank you for that".
"You're always welcome, Mr. Kim," Tzuyu said with a smile.
Suddenly, Kim Dahyun passed by as she keeps looking at Sana everywhere. Mr. Kim noticed Dahyun and called her to introduce her only daughter to Tzuyu.
"Dahyunaa...my daughter! Here you are! I've been looking for you. Come here for a second, I want you to meet...Chou Tzuyu. She's the daughter of one of my friends"
Kim Dahyun was stunned for a moment as soon as she saw the tall girl. Her face becomes serious and all she only thinks about now is Sana.
"I'm Chou Tzuyu. Nice to meet you", the tall girl said and offers her hand to the girl in front of her, but Dahyun didn't accept it. She just bowed at least with respect to the tall girl. Tzuyu put down her hand as she let it pass. Elkie, on the other hand, just watched them as she felt the tension between the two.
"Dad, I have to go now. I'm still looking for Sana", Dahyun excused.
Sana popped up from behind, she walked towards Dahyun. "I'm here, Dahyunaa", she smilingly said.
"You know Twice Sana?", Mr. Kim giggled as she saw the girl coming towards them. "I will introduce you and Elkie to her", Mr. Kim added.
"Sana, Come..These two beautiful ladies are our special guests. Do you know them? Please, say hi to them".
"I know her, Uncle. She's the only daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Chou Yi Cheng and Yen Ling. Her parents were the most successful when it comes to night market business." Sana pretended that she had just known Tzuyu as being like that and not someone who become part of her life. As if she has never been in a relationship with Tzuyu before.
"And this beautiful lady here...What's your name?", Sana glanced at the girl beside Tzuyu and then let out a soft smile.
Dahyun and Elkie were surprised by Sana's behavior. Especially, Tzuyu who was now gritting her teeth and clenching her fist at what just happened now. She was fuming mad and the anger inside her is ready to explode.
"Hi, I'm Chong Elkie. I'm a professional singer in Taiwan. I'm with Tzuyu....", she introduced herself and offers her hand to the girl for a handshake. Sana smilingly accepted it.
"I'm Sana of Twice. Minatozaki Sana. It was nice to meet you—".
"I'm Tzuyu's girl. Nice to meet you too. It's my pleasure to meet you, Sana. I'm a fan of your group. I'm a certified Once" Elkie giggled and ended her introduction. She saw how Sana's smile quickly disappeared but then the girl smiled again. It was a forceful smile this time. Elkie still grabbed the opportunity. She slowly wrapped her arms around Tzuyu's then go down to hold the tall girl's hand. Now, their hands intertwined with each other. Sana saw it all and there were cold stares and at the same time, pain in her eyes. She then quickly averted her eyes and went to Dahyun.
"Since you all girls already know each other. I'm going leave you here now. I still need to meet the other guest". Mr. Kim said and left the four girls.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?", Dahyun asked Sana. She fondle the girl's arm and hold its waist, which made Tzuyu look at it unconsciously.
"No...N~Nothing. Maybe, I'm just tired", she reasoned.
Dahyun softly caress Sana's hand and said, "Maybe, I send you home now."
"Miss, Tzuyu...Miss Elkie...My apologies, I don't want this beautiful lady to get tired and if you don't mind..we will head out first. Nice meeting you two and I hope to see you again", Dahyun smiled at Tzuyu and Elkie. Afterward, she escorted Sana to walk.
Meanwhile, Tzuyu was just silently watching them walk away. She was hoping that Sana might at least look back at her, but it didn't happen. Seeing them together makes her heart break into pieces.
"Hey, are you alright, Tzu? You want to go home as well?", Elkie asked.
"Yah! Why did you say that?", Tzuyu glared at her.
"What did I say?", Elkie furrowed her eyebrows at the tall girl.
"That you are my girl. Silly! How can I get her back now?", Tzuyu complained.
"Yes, I said that but I didn't say that I'm your girlfriend. I just said that I'm just your girl", Elkie laughed softly.
"Anyone who hears that will think it's like that. That it's just the same." Tzuyu began to walk and Elkie followed her immediately.
"I'm indeed your girl!", Elkie insisted.
"Enough! Let's just go home".
"She's jealous. I feel it."
"El...please, stop. I'm already drained. I have no energy to talk about it".
"What took you so long to use the restroom a while ago?", Elkie asked a question which made Tzuyu stop for a while.
"Why did you two suddenly disappear earlier?", Elkie asked another question.
"It's just pure coincidence. Shut your mouth now". Tzuyu responded.
"Nope, I saw you followed her in the restroom," Elkie said with a chuckle.
"You're just mistaken about it".
"When you come to the table....why Sana suddenly popped out all of a sudden. As if you planned it together?". Elkie didn't stop teasing Tzuyu not until the tall girl talk to her about something that happened to them earlier.
"Elkie..please! Will you stop bombarding me with a lot of questions? You're making my head hurt".
"Why your right cheek was red? Did she slap you that hard?", Elkie couldn't stop herself from laughing. She just stopped talking when Tzuyu gave her a deadly glare.
When they got home, Elkie didn't stop asking a lot of questions, but Tzuyu is so stubborn not to share with Elkie what really happened between her and Sana.
"Yah! It's already 11pm. Aren't you going to sleep? It's cold here outside", Elkie said while holding a glass of water and was about to go to her room but she noticed Tzuyu on the veranda.
"Later. I'll just wait for Sana to come home", Tzuyu said while looking at her neighbor's house. Elkie furrowed then went closer to Tzuyu. She then checked what's the tall girl staring at.
"Yah! What are you looking at in that house? The owner may think something bad about you. Stop staring now!", Elkie murmured.
"Sana is the owner of that house".
"Okay—How did you know that?!", Elkie choked on water upon what she heard from Tzuyu. She was looking at the tall girl with disbelief on her face.
"I told you El...I didn't just keep quiet and do nothing for a year. I planned everything."
"You know what...I need to sleep now. You making my head hurt. I'm going back to my room now. You should get some rest later. Goodnight, Tzu!".
"Goodnight, El," Tzuyu responded.
Tzuyu could feel the silence of the night. Her mind returned to what happened to her and Sana. She thought several times if what she did was right. That they should not attend the event. So she wouldn't have been hurt when she saw Sana with someone else. She let out a heavy sigh then took her phone to the table and opened it to watch that video again.
It was Sana's video on her phone. She didn't know that Sana secretly made a video for her a long time ago. This video saves from her death. This video was the source of her strength during the days when her illness caused pain and suffering to her. She always watched this before whenever her heart aches. It served as her hope and the reason to keep fighting for her life.
Tzuyu plays the video.
"Babe, Are you okay now?".
Sana was smiling on the video. It was the sweetest smile that Tzuyu received from the girl.
"Are you still in pain?"
"It's must been very hard for you..."
"And I wish, that things will be easy for you."
"If you're in pain, please just rest and always think of me". Sana giggled upon saying that which currently, makes Tzuyu smile while watching it.
"Remember, that I'm always here for you no matter what happens, okay?"
"I love you, Chou Tzuyu...I love you so much, Babe. I love you to the stars and back! Fight for our fairytale and be happily in love with me."
Sana let out a smile for the last time and blow a kiss before the video ended.
"I blamed myself countless times because I lost you. And it still pains me because honestly....I still do. I still want you". Tzuyu whispered while staring at the picture of her and Sana with Minju. She then smiled bitterly and put down her phone on the table.

Meanwhile, Sana did not go home. She requested Dahyun to take her to Jihyo's condo. Tonight, she just needs someone to listen to her. And this time, it's not Dahyun that she wanted. No matter how Dahyun persisted to stay by her side, Sana didn't let the girl. She badly wants company where she can take out all the resentment, anger, sadness, confusion, and pain she feels inside.
Jihyo is the only person who knows everything about Sana. All the pain and struggle that the girl has been through since day 1.
It was a starry night. No one can stop Sana and her deep emotions.
She was hurting.
"A year has passed, I have been so lost. I've been losing my mind and she doesn't even see it. She doesn't even care. I drowned myself in thoughts of her." Sana was crying now in Jihyo's lap while Jihyo, on the other hand, softly caressed Sana in the hair.
"And now, she showed up all of a sudden with someone. She has a girlfriend, Jihyo-san....How could she find someone else after she left me hanging? It hurts so much!", the girl sobbing uncontrollably.
Knowing that Tzuyu is already in a relationship with someone yet they just had sex earlier made her hurt like hell. They cheat and it's a sin.
"Are you sure she is really in a relationship with that girl", Jihyo asked.
"I don't know. I don't care about her anymore. I hate her!".
"You hate her but still, you love her...What if destiny brought you back together?."
"What am I going to do now?!"
"Talk to her.....for closure. Get up and look at me. Stop crying now, okay? Everything will be fine...". Jihyo cupped Sana's cheeks and wiped away all the tears. "You need to talk to her. Not tomorrow or the other day, not that fast. Just one at a time. Don't force yourself if you're not yet ready", Jihyo let out a soft smile at Sana.

I really just wish we have a proper ending. Instead of this instant silence.
I really just wish we talk deeper into it.
Instead of just playing it safe.
It's almost a year now. I can't stop thinking about it.
Even though I don't want to;
About that empty closure that we had.
There are so many things that I wish I'd said before.
But there are so many that I wish I didn't say before.
I wish I could turn back the clock.
I won't touch anything.
I just want to make sure,
We have a proper ending...
An ending that won't turn us into strangers again.
